I love dangling so much as a g/t trope. Getting dangled by your leg in front of a giant’s massive, sleepy, unamused face as you try to explain just why you were borrowing from their kitchen in the middle of the night. Being dangled by ur arms above a giant’s head as they inspect you, your frantically kicking feet causing them to smirk a little at ur powerlessness. Being dangled only briefly as the giant looks for a less awkward way to hold you, but the sense of unease and unbalance hits you like a truck. Being dangled by your shirt collar because the giant was out of hands and needed to pick you up, deciding to carry you by the scruff like a cat with their teeth. Yeah. I like it very much.
