*honestly could not have asked for a more fitting result for kit. Burdened with a family name she feels unworthy of carrying, a woman who will run headlong into a war, carrying the grief of her crimes and her lost childhood, and as far as Joseph is concerned she was born for it all as the Herald of the Collapse.

*the haunted by the childhood home hits so hard. It hasn't been something explored in her d&d verse yet, but a big part of her character is that she ran away from her home at the first chance she got and has lived as a hermit for a very long time. It's safer for everyone that way

*as the soldier come spy her questioning who she really is, is perfect. She's done a lot of things in her career she's not entirely proud of to get the job done and it is something that weighs on her. And her not having to walk the world alone anymore, yeah...
