Fawna - the Adventurous Forest Pokémon

Fawna is often found traversing dense woodlands, always ready to lend a helping hoof to Pokémon and humans alike. Its playful nature and boundless energy make it an endearing companion to those fortunate enough to cross paths with it.

Burmoo - the Forge Apprentice Pokémon

Despite its skittish nature, Burmoo possesses an unwavering determination to help others. This Pokémon's timid demeanour often melts away in the face of challenges, revealing a courageous spirit.

Kelpup - the Seaweed Hound Pokémon

Kelpup has a tendency to get into trouble as it enjoys splashing water on any unsuspecting passersbys, but their endearing nature and loyalty make it a fantastic companion. Its seaweed ears aren’t only for show but also act as natural sensors for changes in water currents and temperature.

So, I just got over some wicked allergies. But before that, I was working for...gosh, what has it been? A few weeks now, on this little project; and now I finally have enough of it put to (metaphorical) paper to comfortably share my work!

In regards to Pokemon ideas, I felt like I was dragging my feet on them a lot, unsure of what I wanted to make with these thoughts I had in my head. But recently, I had a rush of inspiration, knew exactly what aesthetic I wanted to use and what kind of story I wanted to maybe, possibly tell.

I'm not gonna set any crazy expectations or anything, I'd love to be able to make a game, but that's realistically, a lot of work! So, for now I'm keeping this a simple art project. But if it turns into more over time, I'd be plenty happy with that. I just want to be able to take it at my own pace like most things, as to not burn myself out.

So, with all that preamble, I present some new faces(and a returning one) for a project I'm calling Pokemon Fragments!

The concept is a Pokemon region designed more akin to "real life" towns and such, at least in terms of scale. It'd take place in a far smaller region than you're likely used to, that makes up for it's limited locales by changing as the seasons and time progresses. With a focus on the lives of its characters and dealing with some campy and mysterious conflicts that arise in this small, podunk region called Keistan, based off the north-eastern US. Specifically the Keystone area and the Delmarva peninsula. It won't even have a gym league!

I have a fair amount of art done up for this project at this time, but what better place to start than the starters? Enjoy these guys first and foremost, I have more pieces for this scheduled to upload tomorrow; so look forward to it!

Alactus

It's name is Alactus (Alacrán and cactus) a Bug/grass type

It buries itself in the sand and hard rocks. This way it sleeps and stores energy during the day and hunts for food at night. Some say it uses it's ears to fend off predators that might dig them out while they sleep.

Start moves may include:

Absorb

Fury swipes

Tackle

Pin missile

Natural habitat

Arid zones and deserts.

IM FINALLY FINISHED!!!!

Oof!! it took me a long while to finish them especially making and cleaning up everything for this Pokédex entry for my Fakemon. But ye! Meet Floracorn! The Blossom Pokémon ye! For the first time after a long while I’m proud of this, I’ve finally finished something before procrastinating and forgetting to finish said drawing project oof!

But now…….I have to tackle the final evo of Floracorn………oof……if I’m not back in a few days…..then blame the final evo

Bunnelby here is based on the snowshoe hare (Lepus americanus), and is from the freezing cold Kisukis Region, which is based on Nunavut, Canada. It's also found in another region, Nuvupi, which is based on Alaska and the Aleutian Islands! More on both of these regions to come!

Fiercel's entrie: Fiercel is bold and adventurous. It digs and makes mess of everything while it plays, but always remains loyal to its trainer.

Pyrub's entrie: Pyrub is calm and friendly for the most of the time. but when its trainer are in danger, it'll blows out the flames of nearly 2,900 degrees fahrenheit.

Pyrangel's entrie: In ancient times, this pokemon was praised as a god. People would wrap themselves on it warm tail to be granted good luck.

Tinitross's entrie: Tinitross are much faster swimming than running on ground. This pokemon are also a great pet choice for it playful and friendly nature.

Gryphatross's entrie: Gryphatross's horn are not only to impress the opposite gender, also they use it in battle. Gryphatross's ram force are equivalent of a bull.

Deviltross's entrie: This merciless pokemon grip onto the prey and drags them to underwater to drown them, this pokemon was believed to be possible responsible for people went missing at the lake.

Next up is the obligatory bird Pokemon, but I tried to make it not-so obligatory. As for this one, I was inspired by a Fakemon creator who commonly does regional forms and convergents! MrDjWalnut on Twitter. Their design also pinned Glimmet and Glimmora as convergent birds, but I thought that concept could be taken a bit further and remixed. I thought a design inspired by burrowing owls would be a perfect fit, with an additional ground-typing to match it's ability that mirrors regular Glimmora! Regular Spikes to mirror Toxic Spikes. I imagine their trainer would be a pretty seasoned desert-explorer!
