“I truly did want to give you the world, Sir.” The Conductor was the arbitor of the Composer’s will, the idea that he had not seen Joshua’s loneliness was completely absurd. Oh, he’d tried to hide it, but there was only so much one could hide from the one person who he was able to freely speak to. Megumi hadn’t spoken on it, because he felt it was not his place.

But... he knew. And he knew that the people of the world had disappointed Joshua one too many times for Joshua to be satisfied with them.

He wanted to make them good for his Composer. 

Only now that the world was calm again did he see how absurd his plan was. And he was probably going to hear it from the Composer as well. Which is why he’s just a little bit more pleased than he should be when he speaks again.

“You liked my idea. Are you sure that you don’t want to go forward with it?”

02. the high priestess : how does your muse make decisions ? do they trust their instinct or would they rather trust their heart / their logic ?

    Similar answer to another question, but Neku often relies on their heart for answers. Their heart is the one that makes a lot of creative decisions and usually steers them in the right direction. Though Neku also knows that his heart is incredibly passionate to the point of unreasonable at times, so they always inquire others before making a very large decision. A close friend like Shiki or Hanekoma more often than not.

    Unlike Rindo, Neku is incredibly decisive and often knows what they want on a whim. Making decisions have never been that difficult for them.

14. temperance : does your muse make plans ? how impulsive are they ? has this gotten them into good / bad situations and how have they dealt with them?

    Neku used to be more impulsive and there's only one reason now that they make plans: disability. Sure, they may still make impulsive decisions on occasions to go out for a short trip to go buy something but they wouldn't wander, they would immediately go back home.

    Subjecting themselves to the crowds of Shibuya is a lot more difficult than it used to be. They used to hate it and avoided it like the plague, but now that they love it, they can barely appreciate it. Neku's pained by this fact. Being too impulsive could cause them to suffer in a way they don't intend and that's something they certainly want to avoid.

    Though as recovery progresses this will change vastly. Neku will become more independent again and be able to handle themselves on a day to day basis much better thanks to therapy and meds. They'll be able to make plans spontaneously again and spend time with friends. It'll just be like his younger self going out with Kazuki for a day out in the city til they get too tired to stand.
