"...It's different." The champion remarks, losing the fight with his eyes and checking up and down his friends figure. "But...you look..."

No longer that brave, mysterious hero known as Lucario-Man, Red stood timidly in front of her, having to use his hands among the dimly lit atmosphere. Hopefully she could see his palms, motioning toward her before saying:

[ Gorgeous. Wonderful...very pretty. ] His words are forward, but the vibrant, free feeling that danced through everybody's bodies in that moment made it difficult to be stiff. It was only fitting that he too would let loose.

It wasn't respectful to oogle and drool, even if their feelings about each others bodies had been particularly similar, so Red makes haste to concentrate somewhere else--her eyes.

"Haven't drank too much, have you? Don't have anybody bothering you, either? I would like you to stay safe." There he was again, that ever-valiant protector. "I trust you have nothing to be jealous or embarrassed about anymore, seeing as you have a costume..." He regards their previous conversation, taking two steps forward to slowly close the gap between them, a means for her to hear him more clearly.

Her pulse flutters as she catches sight of a familiar silhouette in the cabin rental area. She hasn't seen him since that night after the gala and, while she hasn't found the courage in her to address her effervescent feelings for him, he has still been in the forefront of her mind for months. Perhaps it's fate that she'd run into him at the festival so quickly after her arrival. Despite the butterfree fluttering in her stomach, she calls out to him, waving a hand in the air to aid in drawing his attention. The place is incredibly crowded, after all. "Red!" Fancy seeing you here, she thinks, but with his sister hosting Unova's biggest event of the year, it doesn't really come as a surprise.

He'd needed a lot of time to think as of late.

He again, hadn't intended on falling off the face of the Earth... but things left off on an unclear note between him and Blue before. How they managed to make such feelings so evident between them, and then have to go on like it wasn't tearing them apart; truly the worst type of talent between them.

He was glad that after their last talk though, that she wasn't upset with him over what happened at the gala. He was glad also for the talk he got to have with his sister about the whole thing, he needed an outside perspective that had the entire context... and only so many people were on that list, along with being in easy contact.

He'd wanted to invite Blue to the Village Bridge Festival when he heard about it from Rosa, but he also knew of Blue's mixed feelings towards the holiday. It would've been worth it to ask, but he worried too much and felt too much like his thoughts were scattered papers across a room.

But while inspecting the key he was given he hears her, even despite the crowd he couldn't miss her voice. Seeing her despite the crowd of people between them, and though he'd wondered about what he would say when they met again; the thought diminishes instantly. He only finds himself smiling while he catches up to her, if the cabin attendant had said anything else to him it had been lost in the background.

Impulse has been finding him a lot lately with her, and it acts on him once again here. He has the thought of simply wanting to hug her, and should she not have rejected it he does try to hold her close. I missed you, he thinks, but can't bring himself to say it yet. When his mind does catch up to him he does worry about scaring her again.

"I didn't think you would like this sort of thing very much, I'm glad to see you."

It's the reaching out and then drawing back, clenching her hands and her jaw. Of looking at the ground near the other person's feet and tearing up.

It's the smiling despite how she feels. Brightening up the other person's day.

It's the words of encouragement, cheering them on with a loud and resonant voice.

It's the ballads and love songs, her singing 'So This is Love'. Twirling and whirling in the middle of an empty road with only wild Pokemon as company, to witness her confession.

It's being there, next to that special someone and serenading them to their face, their favourite song that she learned in under a day so she could perform it for them.

Rosa getting the Knight and Blue @/evoblue getting the Princess even though Rosa is actually the princess and Blue is this scary, powerful sorceress is really the most Rosa and Blue thing ever...

Especially because, in an out-of-palace setting where the two of them are together, Blue is often confused as the princess because of the way she dresses and carries herself while Rosa is disregarded as a commoner because she's always trying to blend in.

He looks her up and down as she sits there, steadfast in her failing attempts at deceit. Maybe her personal business was something he should be staying out of...but curse his bleeding heart, he just had to start intruding.

He didn't really know if she was expecting her lie to work or if it was a desperate attempt to get him to back off...unfortunately for her, as anybody who knew Gold would be aware.

He never backs off once he's got his sights set on something.

"Huh? S'dat some kinda weird ass joke? You 'nd me both know dat I ain't exactly the smar'est tool in th' shed. Guys laik me? We only ge' dis far cos 'a two things. A good right 'ook, 'nd good eyes"

As if to punctuate the statement, he stares at her, dead in her own eyes. The sharp golden hues, piercing right through her, as if sizing her up, right down to her very soul.

Good eyes indeed...

He groans, leaning back in his own seat as if he wasn't the one making a nuisance of himself, nonchalantly shrugging as he speaks.

"Look, yer a way busier guy th'n me, bu' yah know damn well dat I ain't gonna leave yah alone until yah start talkin' so yah might s'well save us both th' trouble 'nd spit it out"

His smirk never fades away as he moves to take Blue's place atop the little machine's stage. Decided to make a show out of it, he takes off his furry jacket, throwing it at none other than Blue herself, revealing his rather small tank top that serves only to hide his scars.

There's nothing a man full of energy drink and the desire to prove himself can't do. Also he's been dancing on these all his life, the girls love it!

"Better record it." he warns a random passerby partygoer interested on this contest.

Well? Green aces it. He doesn't lose a single step, scoring a perfect on every and each one of it, as he practice every music in these machines many many times.

A crowd forms around them as Green's energy explodes much like his charm! They cheer at every perfect combo he muster!

By the end, a breathless professor puts his sunglasses back on as the screen displays his final score: A perfect SS!

"Well? Loser. Guess I won again!" snicker. He means it as a joke. "Can I have my jacket back?"

"Lucas Kouki Adams, I have a bone to pick with you." The audacity of him leaving her on READ...!!

It's a bit harder to ignore her when she's right in front of him, looking unimpressed. Uh oh...

So, Lucas was willing to admit that he had made several mistakes over the past week.

The first was teasing Hilbert. After his cousin won those rings from Gatz, he mad one (1) quip about proposing to Rosa. How was he supposed to know that Hilbert would put him in a headlock as a result?? He had slipped away, and managed to send Blue one (1) text before Hilbert started chasing him all through the village. It was only when he reached his cabin that Lucas was able to shake Hilbert off.

The second (and possibly the more dangerous of the two) was leaving Blue on read. That's what I forgot!

"Uh...I can explain...?" Somehow, this was almost as terrifying as his time in the Distortion World.
