It's super relieving to see someone drawing the characters as poc, and it warms my heart in a way i can't explain. There’s a lot of reasons why I do that, like. I’m white but it bothers me looking at yet another lineup of characters from whatever piece of media I’m getting into which is just another sea of lily white faces y’know, I don’t want to be complicit in that. It’s boring as hell for one thing if all the characters look the same, and all poc deserve to have the experience of seeing the characters you love look something like you, lord knows white(/light skinned) people have a monopoly on that experience as it stands

Basically I just don’t want my art to be for white people! That’s important to me. My art will always be for everyone, it will always be for you, and I hope it can continue to make you happy :,,3 I hope you have a wonderful day as well anon💕💕
