Hiya Erika 😁! Ooo so I’ll go from my favorite to least favorite, first thing that comes to mind, and then expand on it! Also I apologize, but in one of these I’m gonna be very blunt and firm reminder that this is MY opinion 😅:

Julius: “You sit on a throne of lies!” and “I knew you were trouble when you walked in!” (Wonder how many will know the references 😆!)

Lumiere: Sweet Marshmallow that needs to be protected!

Princia: Scary badass who reminds me of a combination of Erza Scarlet and Mereoleona!

Conrad: Interesting magic, could be considered overpowered, sad background. Reminds me of Levi from AOT…for some reason??

Edward: Don’t have much thoughts, didn’t know his name the entire movie, but is the adopted grandpa of the Black Bulls!

Jester: Annoying punk that wore out his welcome, and I just couldn’t wait for him to die and go away (I am so sorry to all those that like Jester it’s just my opinion 😭!)!

Okay, now that’s out of the way I’ll get a little more “in depth”:

Julius: Even though all the stuff in the manga I still love him 😔. Now funny enough, when he first appeared in the anime, I just had a gut feeling he was gonna be the ultimate bad guy or would somehow betray the kingdom, so I was weary of him/of liking him. But then the anime went on and nothing happened so I thought he was going to stay a good guy…until i started reading the Manga and that big twist with Lucius happened 😆! Now I feel like I’ve been lied too ahwkwwksi!!!

Lumiere: I adore him so much 🤧, he just makes me think of Deku from BHA and Asta but a little more…calm 😆! I like how, desipte being a Royal, doesn’t hold any prejiduce or hate towards elves, commoners, or peasants. He believes everyone she live in a world where they’re happy and respected and can live in peace. While also having the same chances and opportunities as the Royals/Nobles! Honestly I wish we got to see him more 😭!

Princia: She reminded me a lot of Mereo, but at the same time reminded me of Erza from Fairy Tail (maybe because of her magic and her armor 🤔), but I thought she was very cool and wish they had expanded on her background a bit more in the movie instead of in a magazine 😭. Because her background seemed so interesting!

Conrad: I liked his magic, and it seemed very cool and interesting. It did seem a little…overpowered, but that’s fine, because Asta was able to cancel it out! Again, I wish they had expanded on his background and what happened to him in the movie, but from what I read I can’t help but feel bad for him. Especially after what happened to his wife 😔!

Edward: I honestly had no idea what his name was until someone said it after the movie released, and he felt kind of…forgetable 😅. But I loved his spells and their names, and after reading his background I understood why they were themed/centered around the church/religion because he used to be a Father of an Orphange like Father Orsi! But I prefer him in Fanon where he becomes the adopted grandpa to the Black Bulls 😆!

Jester: Oh boy…I’m gonna be extremely blunt and again, this is my opinion: I could not stand him. At all. Period. Dead stop. He was extremely annoying during the entire movie and was just…not a fun character to me (if he’s your favorite then that’s fine! I’m glad you like him and fully support you 🥰!). His magic was so-so to me, and the only good/interesting things about him were his background and the way he got all of my faves to team up against him. But otherwise…he was my least favorite character in the movie, and possibly the entire series 😅!

😶 for a headcanon about a secret they know of / keep

Erika- She's aware that one of her Gym Trainers, a girl with horrible allergies named Kaede, is a former member of Team Rocket. Both Erika and Sabrina have a lot of feelings about Rocket as a whole, but Erika's sworn not to tell a soul about Kaede's former life. (Obscure manga characters my beloved)

Sabrina- She's really interested in Mewtwo due to. Y'know, being another Psychic type and all. While she hasn't made any attempts to catch one yet (most of the Mewtwo she's seen on here seem content enough with their current Trainers, etc.), her research led to her learning a lot about the experiments on Cinnabar Island. Names of scientists, finance records, and all that. She keeps quiet about them only because Blaine convinced her to drop it for now.

im tbh fine with the bond convos between your units & the emblems. i think just a small glimpse into the potential dynamic works fine enough and like. i understand itd be really time consuming to write full convos for all possible combinations. i think the first 2 could stand to be 4 sentence ones like the final one but thats it really

Orion and Hate/Anger Sex?

OKAY - HEAR ME OUT srsly before you think of anything else, read this to the end

I woke up today, and I had one idea in mind: Orion and hate/anger sex? Yes.

I know, our Orion would n e v e r do something like that, but think about it again:

He and his partner are in a relationship for some time now - and we all know that it takes time to get used to every habit of the other person, wether you like it or not - and Orion would deal with stuff that bothers him probably that way:

ofc talking about it with his partner

and meditating over it

BUT even then, you can always have pent up emotions. Orion won't yell at his partner ever. So maybe, one time, when they have a small argument which dreads to escalate and his partner talks about his habits that they might not like, and all this pent up emotions in him will come to the front again and he'll feel this unbalancing rage, or anger, and he has this urge to stop his partner from talking. So he grabs them by the neck and pulls them into a heated kiss. His partner is probably confused af, but then goes with it and they do let their emotions out with some quite rough sex.

Afterwards Orion would make sure if he overstepped boundaries or if he hurt his partner (ngl if that partner was me tho he'd had some nice scratch marks over his back probably, tho he probably wouldn't care). Both let their pent up emotions out, both feel better. They just lay there in each others arms, catch their breath, breath in each others smell and forget that they were angry.

This would happen very very rare tho.

I finished watching Red, White and Royal Blue and it was horrible. Like I know I should be in support because yay exposure for LGBTQ+ but omg the terrible acting, the terrible writing, and just the in-general Terribleness.

(through clenched teeth, trying to swallow back “blorbo was violently misinterpreted”-induced rage) the fact that one story can essentially become a million different stories to a million different people is so beautiful, the fact that one character can be a million different characters to a million different people is so wonderful, it’s genuinely delightful to see how one character or one scene can mean so many different things to so many people, thus making fandoms like one massive book club as no two fans’ interpretation of a work will be the exact same

jokes and irony aside, i think it really really is cool to think that my favorite character in the whole work is just a footnote plot device to some people, and characters i hardly think much of are the whole reason for experiencing the media to other people. my favorite arc was a complete flop to some people, while some scenes i hardly remember are someone else’s favorites that they go back to read over and over.

as easy as it is to get hung up on seeing things i like misinterpreted, it kind of quells that anger to think just how cool it is that i’m not engaging with it in the Objectively Perfect way either, that we’re all just taking stories and our own life experiences and preferences sorta subconsciously shape them into the kinds of stories we want.

there’s never really one Perfect Fan™️ or True Interpretation™️ of a work, and i just find that… cool to think about, i guess!

It’s kinda annoying that the other Quidditch characters didn’t get their own personal arcs like Skye did. I thought Orion was finally going to get one when he got injured in s3 but they never went anywhere with exploring him further as a character. It seems like they just needed an excuse to get him out of the way to have a captaincy plot but without having him graduate. They didn’t really explore Murphy or Rath’s characters on a personal that much either, but they have potential to work with too.

Yeah, I'm definitely annoyed by how much Jam City has just decided to completely sideline Orion in particular, after season 3, and I was really hoping that season 4 would give McNully the chance to shine the way Season 2 gave Skye focus and the beginning of Season 3 focused on Orion. It's also disappointing that they've had Skye and Erika kind of backtrack in their development too, considering they're acting unfriendly toward each other again. I was even complaining to @dat-silvers-girl at several points while watching the latest chapter of Season 4, because almost all of Orion's comments from the sidelines were written as though he were just some random NPC, rather than in his rather distinctive, dreamy voice.

These lines should've been more like --

"We can only benefit from whatever intelligence Rath has against our new opponents."

"Rath is as strong as a Graphorn, it's true...but even a Graphorn needs time to heal, before they can charge at full strength."

"This is certain -- to get to Gruffyd, our only path is through Baglan."

"Our focus must be on Baglan."

"Having the twins as rivals has sparked new flames of determination inside of our teammates."

But yes, back to the overall point, the writing of the Quidditch crew has been incredibly disappointing, as of late. Like the rest of the game, it really feels as though each of them had so much potential for growth and development, but Jam City has seen fit to either deny them it or backtrack any small changes they do go through.
