Blessings for the Equinox ... South and North... Spring and Autumn/Fall. I took this photo at Kalbarri, WA two weeks ago and as I sit here contemplating the wisdom of the Equinoxes...harvesting of land and life experiences and the planting of seeds and hopes for tomorrow and beyond, I saw these cycles reflected in the solidarity of the red rock being kissed by blue sky and uplifting clouds. I took a much needed weekend electronic detox and Saturday became an all consuming day of cleaning out cupboards, draws, under beds... the laundry, wardrobes, more draws... did I say THE LAUNDRY ..?!😝. My partner was saying “it’s a beautiful day outside, come to the beach...!” But I couldn’t stop cleaning, releasing, respectfully storing things of useful value... I started at 7am and finally after the 7th load of laundry was hung on the line I stopped and was ready to go to the beach ... it was 7pm - 12 hours of cathartic nourishing of home complete ... I felt content. And also wondering what had consumed me today?! My partner and I sat on the sand, sipping kombucha and eating cheese on crackers, watching the sun set in reverse reflected on the clouds and serene expanse of water. The waxing moon glowed ever more brightly on our left shoulders and finally, as the sun slipped completely below the edge of our world, the Milky Way poured across the sky above our heads. Sitting on and gazing up at the miracle that is our Mother Earth and witnessing the absolute Magick of our Universe, I contemplated ...”Of course, it is the Equinox .... As Above, So Below ... As the Universe, So the Soul”. My northern hemisphere heart cried Ostara! Spring! New beginnings, clean and clear for the new seeds to be sown! As my southern feet walked a day of Mabon! Autumn! Harvesting, storing, appreciating. At one point my partner had said as he witnessed my frenzy, ‘You’re as mad as a cut snake today!’ But I wasn’t - I was a Witch caught between the worlds, making Magick - taking action strung between the spinning Wheel’s balance of opposites. It was a very enchanted day. hope everyone is enjoying some time with mother nature, in all her glory..clearer skies, quiet roads, people prioritising self care and happiness, looking out for one another.

This is an amazingly powerful time and i'm so thankful to be here right now and to have been born under this incredibly powerful sign. My saturn return is happening and the age of Aquarius is in full swing, sparking great change and growth.  As in every situation we must take the positives and trust in our paths. Sunnier days are on the way and the long gruelling winter is finally coming to an end. The best things in life are free and still accessible.
