Who (or what) does your character love most in the world? Why?

Who (or what) does your character hate most in the world? Why?

Julianne: Julianne will insist she doesn't have favourites among family and friends. Indeed, she'd be a little embarrassed to admit to any strong emotion without deflecting it rather. But in truth it's her father whom she loves and admires the most, increasingly out of principle. He brought her up and taught her magic, introduced her to the Guild which she loves, and continues to support her in everything.

As for whom she hates: this is an emotion she would never admit to, and indeed she's very moderate, there are few people she even cares to dislike. The obvious answer for this one would be Mannimarco, whom she hates partly for his threat to the Guild, but mostly for his threat to her father. Even then, on the brink, killing him was difficult, given she had never killed anyone before; and even someone you hate, reduced to helplessness, is a piteous sight.

Julienne: the people she loves most are Marcurio and Agnete. Marcurio is her best friend and the love of her life, who has been in so many scrapes with her that they are inseparable for it; Agnete is her great-aunt and maternal figure who taught her about magic and the world.

Julienne, rather like Julianne, does not often have the time or the mental energy for hatred. There are many people she finds unpleasant. It would be too much flattering them to grant them named hatred.
