This came out AMAZING! It's gonna make embrodery so much eaiser.

I'm not 100% on this design, It was fun to put all the sprites together but, I'm not sure it's gonna come out great as an embrodered peace.... I might try again, but with something that will translate into embroidery a little better. Who knows

“Never posted my completed Modern Folk Embrodery 2021 SAL. I loved stitching this thing.

Pattern is here if anyone wants it. I've since washed and ironed it but apparently never took a picture, and it's been sitting folded for awhile so now it's got creases. So the finished but slightly wrinkled from stitching picture is the best I've got.

Getting this pattern every month was a delight. I genuinely looked forward to the email for the next part of the pattern every month. And I adore the end result!

I'm really picky when it comes to samplers because I find most of them charming but not something I would necessarily want to stitch. I saw this one and I knew it was one that was worth my time stitching and I have absolutely no regrets. It has certainly had me eyeballing more traditional style pieces in general though. As if I don't have enough projects to do already!”

"could you stand still? if you keep moving, i'll stick your back with this needle," jay threatened before you stuck your tongue out teasingly at him. you adjust your posture and jay mutters a "don't move", taking a needle out of the cushion. he backs up slightly to see the positioning of where the fabric bunches up on the silver bait.

jay hands softly ghost against your waist as he spins you to face the mirror and you let out a soft gasp. you cautiously step off the pedestal to move closer to the mirror to inspect yourself. the dress you were adorning was jay's latest project. the glossy sheen from the material of periwinkle silk sat light on your skin, a cooling feeling some might say. jay had left extra fabric behind to create a flowy trail.

a jay creation wouldn't be his creation if it didn't have his signature ribbon. his ribbon was made out of white velvet. nothing fancy, only people who didn't know fashion would miss the small lilac j that was embroderied on the ends.

"jay, this is beautiful! i have no words for it” you turn your head to look at him and he gives you a soft smile, eyes adorn with pure love.

"it's only because you're wearing it, angel "
