It features a large ruby red enameled flower blossom or mum with round red berry beads on pins in the center enameled in the same color. The entire brooch has a dusting of opalescent glitter. The age of this brooch is only evident on the back, which has the patina of age, an old C-clasp (which may have been replaced), and each petal is soldered together with a sash between them.
