Capp-Jones family, Roaring Heights - #43
After mourning and healing, Titania continued her training with Cinnamon for the following days, while the rest of the household returned to their everyday, regular happy selves.
Her hard work paid off, as she continued to win competitions and get promotions as a horsewoman in Roaring Heights, while also doing her role as a mother and wife. It's not smooth and easy, but she's making it all work.
They're all very grateful for the gift of life and abundance they experience every day.

We have come to the end of the post series from this household... for now. Thank you again for engaging and reading my posts! I love sharing my game to the community, and it makes me very happy to see others reading and liking my stories, too 😁
Thank you again, and keep on Simming!

I just found out that Ken Lemmons' middle name is Allison.
Given that Andy and Eddie are my favourite characters from The Pacific, I really shouldn't be surprised I ended up falling in love with another HBO War guy whose middle name is Allison, should I?

It was a long but fun day out for Emma. But eventually it came to an end and she made her way back home. Still in a good mood, she helped her mother prepare some roast chicken for dinner, as it was already starting to get late. Maybe Maureen was doing most of the work, but the effort was there.
At the dinner table, Emma could not wait to tell her family about her day. So much had happened after all. She noticed her parents giggling about the way that she was talking without end, but she could tell the loving nature behind it, so she did not mind.
Afterwards, just as Emma was about to help Maureen wash up, the phone started ringing in the hallway. Excited to speak to whomever it may be, though hoping it would be one of her friends, Emma jumped up and immediately went to pick up the phone.
[TRANSCRIPT]
Emma: “I sure have missed your cooking.”
Maureen: “Oh, thank you, but you did help. Anyway, how was your day out?”
Emma: “It was great! I visited Niall at his huge manor. You see, he’s a proper celebrity now! It was so nice seeing him again. And then I went out with Judy and I bought some new clothes. I hope you don’t mind that I took some money from the drawer.”
Edward: “Don’t worry, it’s for you, too. And I can tell you had fun, haven’t heard you ramble on like this in years.”
Emma: “Haven’t you? I suppose things are going well for me. Don’t think you’ve heard the end of it!”
Maureen: “Well, enough rambling for now. Want to help me clean up the dishes, Emma?”
Emma: “Sure, why not?”
*ring ring*
Emma: “I’ll go get it!”
Edward: “Sounds like somebody is weasling their way out of their chores.”

"Fortunately for K Company, most of the other replacement officers were good men. By far the best of the bunch was 26-year-old First Lieutenant Edward A. 'Hillbilly' Jones from Whiteford, Maryland, a small rural town just a stone's throw from the Pennsylvania border. A popular and fun-loving youngster, Ed Jones was a chorist for the local Methodist church and a talented guitar player. He also became, after his father was disabled in the early 1930s, a surrogate dad and provider for his nine younger siblings. Leaving high school to join the Civilian Conservation Corps, he sent most of his pay home to his family so they could eat during the Depression. 'Don't worry, mom," he promised, 'I'll always take care of you.'"
— Devil Dogs: King Company, Third Battalion, 5th Marines; From Guadalcanal to the Shores of Japan, by Saul David, p. 208
Not going to lie, this absolutely broke me. I had thought Hillbilly was an only child and was so devastated thinking of his parents losing him, but learning he came from such a huge family and took on so much responsibility to care for all of his younger siblings to the point that he was like a second dad...the last line about what he said to his mother...War is so utterly cruel.

Capp-Jones family, Roaring Heights - World Adventures #58
Goneril was brought next to one of the ancient pyramids of Al Simhara - the Pyramid of the Burning Sands. It's not the largest of the three pyramids in the middle of the Al Simhara desert, but its presence and history have not failed to amaze the tourists and locals in the area. It just seems bigger than what it actually is.
Goneril just felt that, as she's having difficulties navigating the pyramid. Hours later, she finished exploring the tomb and have acquired what she came for.
Meanwhile, the rest of the household was having a grand time back at the base camp. The young adults enjoyed watching the guest singer at the camp, while Edward was exploring the nearby areas to find some insects for a local.
