Here's a thought: piepoe finding a new friend and deciding to take care of them like they do with her little friends. I imagine piepoe as a mother bird type who keeps they friends she make in a nest until they're ready to follow him around. So I just imagine piepoe meeting someone new and thinking "you. are baby." and scooping the person up and plopping them in the nest with the rest.

BEHQHAHAHAHAHAH this is SUCH A FUN CONCEPT! To be quite fair it's not even far from what she tends to do with people she REALLY trusts... While he limits who he considers something to care for like it's little fambly, if you are something they really trust and like, she'll pick you up with one hand and bring you to wherever she stays/feels most comfortable, let you hold onto the little fambly friends, and then just vibe with you. Sit around and nap or play with your hands, etc etc, even exploring a bit. Though he's not much of a talker so don't expect much conversations <:3!!
