I'll be perfectly honest... I'm fine with posting major stuff as MP3s here still, but for comparatively "smaller" tracks like this, I'm losing interest in compressing and porting them. I don't want there to be outright no documentation for em on my Tumblr tho, so I'm gonna be making use of Tumblr's audio embed feature a decent bit from now on. Sorry in advance. XP

These two tracks are in relation to Cooking Cat and Goofy Mafia, the joint Toriel replacements. By the point that these tracks play, both have become very split over the issue of how to deal with Bow Kid. Their friendship sits at a tipping point, but though things are tense, Cooking Cat is still more than happy to let Bow rest at their house as long as she needs. For the funni flavor text stuff (and any more in depth notes,) you can read the descriptions on the SoundCloud posts proper. For timeline's sake, the tracks have been put underneath the cut.

Alright gang, time for the rest of the Calcite cast! Excluding the other traders and calcites because to be honest I can't be bothered :"D Was giving any of these three refs necessary? Definitely not. But I had fun so whatever lol <3

I realized way too late that Mafia Boss and Thor have literally the exact same color palette?? So I did my best to differentiate them here ;w; I think I kind of succeeded?

Anyways, we'll be doing the same thing as last time! Bullet points under the cut ^^

Thor was the resident mechanic! The main gang used to visit his old underground workshop a lot, although Lilly was the only one who had any interest in learning about tech. With Thor's help, she even created some sort of little...sentient...vacuum?

I think I said before that mb wasn't with the traders? Well that has since been retconned :D He was the leader of their little expedition! Being strangely well travelled and good at navigating, he knew all the best places to sell to and how to get there. He was also the only thing stopping the Traders from immediately getting completely lost.

The Head Trader wasn't necessarily a better person than in canon, he just ended up being more interested in getting rich overcharging for fish than. Literally killing off an entire town : D

The Goofy Trader had a rather unique set of wares. His stock pretty much consisted of a bunch of random bits and bobs, including a wide array of party gear :) Although often anxious, he was good at event planning!

Anywho, that's about all for now! I have a feeling this isn't the last we'll see of these guys, though.....

Okay, what if ahit but its a DnD type fantasy adventure? It starts with just hat kid and bow kid on a mission to defeat the evil overlord (Vanessa), but they end up forming a silly ragtag adventuring party with people they meet on the way. (Please click for better quality)

Character details I've come up with so far under cut, and also me sounding like a little nerd with dnd classes and stuff.

I haven't decided on any location or character names yet so :P

Hat Kid- She's a wannabe elf warlock and Bow Kid's best friend (they'll probably get names, probably). She doesn't have an arcane focus in the beginning, but she ends up finding and using an umbrella later on. She's very energetic and determined (a little too much at times) and actually manages to become Snatcher's best friend. Bow Kid- She's a human beast master ranger with either a cat or a crow as a companion (idk which one yet). She's a lot calmer than Hat Kid but still gets really excited when she sees a cute creature (even if it is literally trying to kill her.) Cooking Cat- She's a silly kitty cleric (either light or peace domain) from Mafia Town. She's a ray of sunshine and definitely the mom of the group. Snatcher- He's a circle of wildfire druid (bc silly) who, until the kids came and found him, hadn't left his forest in over a century. He was stuck there in wild shape (silly ghost form. Don't ask what creature it is or why he chose to be able to wild shape into it bc i have no clue) because of Vanessa. She tried to turn him into a tiefling like her but it did not go as planned. Clearly. He's still that dark kind of goofy he is in game but just a little bit nicer. Not by much, though. Vanessa- She's a tiefling shadow magic sorcerer who has control over the entire continent. While her outburst (I'll think about more details of it later) effected Subcon the most, it had minor effects all over. She presents herself in her more humanoid form with an overly sweet personality, but the second she's ticked off ditches the facade and becomes her horrid, more demon-like self. She's less of a direct threat until they reach her domain. Empress and the receptionist are also going to join the gang, but I didn't know what classes to make them or what to do with their designs soooooo..... yeah. (To be fair, the other's designs will also probably change bc I made them in like five minutes).

A hat in time AU idea: Apocalypse Swap au (or just APswap au, wip).

Background: a sort of ahit swap au but with some Fallout shennanigans in between, this changes the roles of multiple characters while also putting a post apocalyptic spin on Hat Kid's origins as well as aging her up to her species equivalent of 15 years old.

The storyline however is very different as it brings back many cut characters and locations, passes character traits onto new ones and follows a combination of retail and cut content. It also explores Hat Kid's past and the actions leading up to her escape.

Calcite Characters:

Mustache Girl (real name: Jane, sirname unknown) is a local resident of the city of Calcite and an apprentice to Tim the CEO of Time, she mostly shares her canon personality but the trauma with the mafia is mostly removed (as I'm giving it to Bow Kid) due to being sheltered by Tim despite him lossing a Time Piece to the Lazy Paw Mafia Boss.

Bow Kid (real name: Laura Jennings Durr) is another local resident and a victim of the Lazy Paw's brutality as they imprisoned her and murdered her parents, she is probably one of the only denizens actively fighting the Lazy Paw using sabotage. This has led to gaining a few scratches here and there. Following Jane defeating the Lazy Paw boss Laura almost went the same way as retail Mustache girl with only Tim coming in at the last second promising the removal of the lazy paw if she helps Jane stopping her.

Hat Kid (real name: Penny Lesley Kiethman) is a space traveling alien from an unidentified planet escaping on a solar sail generation ship with under a million of her kind, her ship halts near Earth and she awakens from her cryo induced slumber only to find that her pod was the only one to open. She desperately heads down to Terra to find parts to fix her ship but gets fixated by the Time Pieces and she wishes one to fix up and power the reactor. Problem is that Jane won't hand one over...yeah you know where this is going. Following her defeat at Generations and Timelines Penny lays low for a while before saving Jane's life at the Arctic Town.

The Lazy Paw: a cat gang coming from an unidentified location that had decided to take over most of Calcite and basically took over their segmants governing council, they wrapped up warm for Calcites colder enviroment with fur and leather coats and are ruthless towards anyone who pisses them off. Their leader the Lazy Paw Boss was the one that personally killed Laura's parents and gouged out one of her eyes.

Goofy Paw (real name: Josef Fritz Verville) is a member of the Lazy Paw gang, while he is a reliable member he is also a cryptozoologist and a member of a local conspiracy theorist group made up of Lazy Paw members and locals. He is the first one to encounter Penny and was the one who reported to LP Boss about her.

Tim (full name Tim Davis Reginald) the CEO of Time, local somewhat insane person (although Oldster beats him by far), high ranking Timekeeper of the ACTT and a very eccentric individual. He is known for being very carefree but still takes his job seriously, his predessesor told him to not have a melt down. How he had a meltdown over not having a meltdown is beyond me but he wishes to fix it so he sends Jane out to put things right.

Sam the Detective: a detective that specialises in different factors and currently on the payrole of the Lazy Paw to look the other way while they committ the crimes they do, while Sam is somewhat Scummy the Lazy Paw do have his family hostage and he is a good, if somewhat scummy, person.

Oldster: an old senile man living in a dumpster, oldster was once a respected part of town but the Lazy Paw utterly destroyed him both physically, emotionally and financially. He was rendered a paranoid, decrepid old man.

Timekeeper Blu: a relatively experienced Timekeeper and proud of his job, he is a very joyful individual but can sometimes be too serious and even hostile. If someone unfamiliar even touches a Time Piece he can get very defensive. Blu takes Laura under his wing as an apprentice following the events of Generations and Timelines.

Lady Puella: A very experienced Time Keeper rumoured to be older than this current Timeline, Puella is a very strict keeper and is good at first response and at dealing with struggling or troublesome apprentices. She was also a first responder during the events of Arctic Town and following those events takes Penny under arrest and places her in the ACTT's youth reformatory program before taking Penny under her wing as an apprentice.

Cooking Cat and Goofy Mafia share the role of Toriel. Mafia Town being covered in lava forced practically everyone out, and this unlikely duo is no exception. Being nicer and more open than the others, Goofy and Cookie very quickly found common ground, and a friendship formed from there. Not having much else to do anymore, they help watch over Subcon Forest and the new Mafia settlements there (which Mafia Boss and Snatcher don't always make easy.) When Bow's spaceship crash lands, Cooking Cat is ready and raring to help as always! As for Goofy Mafia... his fear of "slimy space aliens" is still here. It moreso comes out as general distrust and skittishness around Bow for now, but who KNOWS what turn this'll take as the journey progresses? i do lmao

FINALLY, A VERSION OF THE FALLEN DOWN THAT DOESN'T SUCK :D (ahem) But uhhh ye. Between work getting in the way, and patiently waiting for this comm (and others like it) to come to fruition, I have a new track for you guys at long last! Been feeling for the longest while that the old Fallen Down, as used to be heard on my main... sucked *royal ass.* Was defo wanting to redo it, whether that was me taking a new crack at it or commissioning someone, but then. I heard this beautiful track from Nahg, and knew right away what route I wanted to take. So some money and time later, with a side of waiting for my new computer to be fucking usable for good measure, I'm now proud to have the pleasure of presenting this to you all! On the Nature of Possession, Volume 1

“Possession is one of the more common forms of Mindbending, used to temporarily take partial or complete control of a being (not to be confused with Possessed Objects). It has been done through strings, ribbons, cursed items, eyes, and many more. There are also many forms of possession, including brainwashing, directly, and influence, which we’ll cover in later chapters. However, there are two traits that are true of all possessions.

The first is obvious; some change in appearance. This is the easiest identifier that someone has been possessed, since it is impossible to completely hide without severing the possession.

The second is largely unknown, even among those with possession abilities it seems, but nonetheless a vital component. In order to prevent the victim from fighting against the possessor’s control, the victim’s conscious self must be imprisoned within their own mind. By default, they will be trapped with their worst fears and insecurities, in, from what I have heard, is a nightmarish realm. It is also possible to use happy memories instead, but the possessor must be aware of ‘mind prisons’ in order to do so. While the most effective method of preventing dissent is to put the victim into a stasis/sleep-like state, it is the most difficult.”
