Idk how to explain it but yknow after surgery it feels, relieving id say. Ive been wanting to get them removed since middle school (9-10 ish years) and just not feeling that weight on my chest anymore just makes me so happy.

I cried for like a week straight looking at my chest after i showered and stuff

But let me tell you recovery was a bittersweet experience, it hurt sometimes but yknow i just told myself that not a lot of people like me can actually do this so its just a bump along the road.

I do recommend you save up money though, i had nearly enough and some of my friends were nice enough to pitch in a little bit and im so grateful that they did.

I tool about maybe a full 2-3 month recovery maybe it more ?? I cant remember but i got over it pretty and i was able to get up and going

But also with like my parents and that stuff, they’re not really used to me in general(ive been out for 4-5 years) but they aren’t critical about it, and i obviously couldnt be left alone at a college dorm for a few months so i had to go back home for a bit, but if youre in close connection with your parents/guardians i do recommend you tell them that once day you’re going to do it (pls stay safe if they could react in a negative way) but im glad my parents didnt disown me or anything similar, and i hope you have a safe way of being able to be yourself for who you want to be
