When the Eclipse started, I shrugged off Louis's acting as your usual GMMTV brand of acting and moved on. Then I started FUTS and he was so good at being the cute Meen (you'll have to see to know it; Neo's character literally has a hard time because of it cuz it's so cute/good) but still. You could consider it to be in the same vein, right? But then, when he is playing Duean's (Neo) imagination version of him as the playful guy who roughly throws him on the couch, or, tries to seduce him or even dragging him into the room and breaks the fourth wall by winking at the camera, I'm like boy certainly has the range beyond the bare minimum! (Also, if you haven't watched that show, please do! At least, the Neolouis bit! They're just funny adorable) Clearly, he can be emotive if he wants to

Then watching the Eclipse I was like uff why is he like this here.

But it turns out that in the novel Thua is described as a muscular guy with a cute oval round? face who is very robotic. So I guess acting choices are being made.

Axelle im so curious i hope you can help me :) in fish upon the sky Duean called Meen "my boy" i think a lot of times but what does it mean in thai? Is it really my boy? Can we really translate it like that? Because it's so cute gfhcjvhvv

oooh, I tried to find a scene where he calls him 'my boy' but I didn't find any scene bc I don't have much time to search for it :( all I know is that duean calls meen 'ai'dek' (this kid) multiple times, and in other shows like my tee, 'you are my boy' is often translated to '(insert character's name) khong phom.' that being said, if you have a particular scene you want me to translate that would be much easier for me, thank you & hope I still kinda helped :)

hello i'm not going to say much but i'm the anon that wrote the long ass anon about hating 2gether and also the anon who said futs > nlmg. so i'd just like to say that... as both a brightwin and pondphuwin fan... 2gether is NOT better than futs! futs had its job and it did it (being funny) despite the major flaws that made me sigh. 2gether made me want to claw my eyes out during the final parts of the first series. also the side pair in futs is soooo much better and funnier than 2gether's multiple side pairs. and i don't even think i'm just biased or something because i was hfxed on 2gether (sigh. i think it's tinesarawat over sarawatine actually btw and you can fight me) and i *love* brightwin. i listen to kan goo all the time. still a worse show imo. lol

I love FUTS and I'm also a big fan of thinking almost everyone in BL is vers so this message is wonderful to me. That said, I think I like ManType slightly more than DueanMeen but it is marginal.

You seem to really like Neo and Louis together, does that mean that you don’t like Mark?

Not like Mark? Not LIKE Mark!? Who wouldn’t like Mark? Look at him, I mean - Look. At. Him!

He’s adorable!! Of course I like Mark! Lol, silly anon. I think Mark is such a cutie and really talented, he’s proving himself to be a really versatile actor for someone still pretty new to the industry.

I just am somewhat… okay like SUPER disappointed that GMMTV decided to try Neo with another actor yet again when I think he and Louis have had the best chemistry out of all the actors they’ve tried to pair Neo with and they could have easily decided to brand them together.

I mean, they branded fricking PerthChimon together before they even had a single on screen scene together (listen I adore Perth but let’s be honest here, him and Chimon had the chemistry of wet paper in NLMG and it didn’t seem like it was Perth’s fault is all I’m saying 👀👀)

Meanwhile Neo has been working at the company for years and has a solid fanbase and has proven that he can pretty much play any role thrown at him. I just think that they were wary of giving Louis a role in Only Friends because he was too ‘innocent’ looking. They already had Book to fill that shy Uke archetype, so they needed someone who could play cooler/messier/sexier/etc. So they cast Mark, which is great for Mark but unfortunate for Louis because he really does have some serious acting chops and I think he would do amazing in roles besides the geeky/shy/nerd guy stereotype that they’re type casting him as, they just need to give him a chance.

So while I’m hardcore pro NeoLouis and all their ships (DueanMeen, KanThua, DoyTony) I am in no way a Mark hater. I am fully looking forward to how he and Neo work in Only Friends and Cooking Crush, who knows, they may be fantastic! Only time will tell.

But really, who could not like Mark? He’s too pinch cheek adorable ☺️

Decided to watch FUTS finally because I like neolouis in the Eclipse and they're there too. Already made a post in the difference between the two neolouis ships/storyline. If they made a cut of just the Duean Meen scenes I would watch every now and then I don't really repeat things If it wasn't for Neo, Duean's character would have easily become an obnoxious ass character. He was still a bit of a jackass but he made him loveable. Neo definitely knows how to switch between comedy and seriousness.

(Louis was also very good at playing the adorable oblivious(?) Cute guy)

FUTS was definitely a show on crack.
