Hi I've been craving Naejunko and have had an AU in mind for a while, so I wrote a quick oneshot for part of it! N/aegi and J/unko bond in the morgue. You know, like sensible people.

PREVIEW: "Aren't you cold? You've been in here for, like, three hours." 

"I'm fine." Naegi's voice was so quiet that she barely heard it, although despite his shivering, his tone was as firm as the frozen corpses on the shelves around him. His stupid ratchet hoodie wasn't going to be enough to keep him from joining them if he stayed in the morgue for much longer. She'd been generous enough to give him free entry whenever he pleased, but if he thought he could just avoid her in here forever, all day every day, he was in for a rude awakening.

With a long sigh, she let the metal door slide shut behind her, striding over to join him. She chose to perch on the corner of one of the exam tables, kicking her legs idly and observing him. The bags under his eyes and his pale complexion weren't new, but the violet tint to his fingers was. It almost matched the hair of the girl he was stroking. The goddamn detective's shelf had been pulled open, and his gaze never left her closed eyelids. 

That had been a small mercy she'd allowed when cleaning up the bodies for display. If it were up to her, those eyes would still be wide with despair and physical torment, a much more intriguing end than simply 'sleeping'. But despair had to come slowly, and he was already swimming in the thick of it… She could save mutilating the corpses for later, to reopen the wounds whenever he managed to adjust to the fact that they were truly dead and gone.

"What do you want?" Naegi's voice wasn't sharp, but it wasn't the usual fuzziness he used to carry either. He hadn't talked all soft in the couple of weeks since the game ended. No friendship lectures, no innocent queries, no naive disbelief of what she was capable of... There wasn't despair, not yet, his hope was still too strong for that. But there was a certain, delicious hint of resignation to his fate, and her general repulsive existence.

She thought for a moment, putting a finger to her lip and staring up at the ceiling with wide, innocent eyes. "Nuffin' in pawticuwar..." she hummed cutely. He wasn't fazed. 

"Then why are you here?"

"God, I was just coming to check on you. No need to be so freakin' hostile! Am I not allowed to walk into a damn room without some ulterior motive?"

"You don't usually."

How about Rantaro and s/o checking the bookshelves in the library then s/o was busy looking up at the bookshelves then suddenly he/she sees the shot putt (?) ball about to fall on Rantaro’s head and saves him from it? Then when both of them turned around they see Tsumugi coming out of the moving bookshelf holding another shot putt ball, who was trying to murder Rantaro but is surprised that there are two students who are in the library. You can decide how this ends :D

You and Rantaro were completely convinced that you two were the only ones in the library, the only sounds that could be heard were you two chatting and the sounds of books being placed back in.

You looked up to find any other books, just a simple glance until you see something a little suspicious, a shot putt ball was rolling down an organized array of books that were all opened, perfect for the killers plan to run smoothly I’m not funny.

“Rantaro! Watch out!” He was completely confused but listened to your command with fast reflexes, as soon as he did the shot putt ball fell onto the same location he was standing on seconds ago.

“Thank you so much S/O I would’ve been a complete goner! This place might not be the best place to stay right now, lets go love.” He held your hand and once you turned around.  Someone was standing there. Holding a shot putt ball in the distance.

You tried to make out the silhouette, a fairly tall woman was in the distance, long hair and skirt. Out of everyone it was only one person you could’ve thought of.

Tsumugi

Once she found out that her identity was revealed she dropped the weapon and left the area. You and Rantaro looked each other in confusion and also left the library. 

From then on you two were much more cautious around her. Anyone can be anything. She put up a nice and innocent facade and then you two saw her true colors.

What she’s really capable of.

Headcanon for what Fuyuhiko was doing during trial 2 voting period

Peko came out as Sparkling Justice (aka a serial killer) to hasten everyone’s vote to execute her. What did Fuyuhiko do during this time? I like to imagine Fuyuhiko and Sonia was trying to stop the vote to the very end. They kept screaming that something was wrong, but no one listened. I bet Peko made sure no one could hear them by consistently spouting out Sparkling Justice’s ideals. The imagery of Peko’s laugh drowning out Fuyuhiko’s desperate pleads.

In the end, Peko force herself to laugh at the fact that she was about to die.

I wonder who Fuyuhiko voted for in the end. It was clear who everyone else was going to vote for. His vote didn’t matter. Peko was going to die and it was his fault.

Tsumugi planned out her entire plan smoothly, the avocado boi was going to be finished soon enough when she’s about to take action

Rantaro was in the library,  minding his own business and trying to find a book about how to stop being ‘The Ultimate Useless Older Brother’ because it’s accurate

The four eyed troll peaked into the room and slowly crept up to the ‘Ultimate Useless Older Brother’ very slowly

But little did she know that Monokuma was on cleaning duty and forgot to put up a sign to remind people that the floor was slippery  and Tsumugi was wearing boots so it was obvious she was going to run into an accident

And that’s exactly what happened, she slipped and was on the floor praying for avocado boi not to notice

“HADOKIN”

A crack then came after her Gibberish, wasn’t the loudest in the world but can still be noticed

Avocado boi heard the sound and the scream so he turned around to see what was going on, and what was in front of him with a Tsumugi with a shotput ball

“Tsumugi what the hell are you doing?” he questioned obviously confused and that type of language almost never comes out of his mouth so it was a very surprising mome

“I was trying to kill you because you insulted Doraemon epiosde 53! And I broke my leg so please help me”

Rantaro stayed away from Tsumugi for the rest of the killing game
