Y, claro, mira a Brady. Otro anillo elevaría la discusión a cotas gigantes. De mitos del deporte USA.

[ad_1] Philadelphia Eagles security chief Dom DiSandro will not be allowed on the field for the remainder of the regular season, per the Associated Press. DiSandro was barred from the sideline following an incident with San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw that resulted in both player and staffer getting ejected from the game. DiSandro was also reportedly fined $100K -- a punishment he appealed. Per the Associated Press, that appeal was denied. The Eagles reportedly paid the fine. Per a pool report from NFL referee Walt Anderson on Dec. 3, DiSandro was "contributing to the escalation" of the argument, which led to him being tossed from the game. DiSandro can still travel with the team and perform his game-day activities, but can not be on the field for the remaining four regular-season games. Greenlaw was fined $10,927 by the league for the unnecessary roughness penalty, but was not suspended. DiSandro's suspension was handled via Article 8 of the NFL rulebook, which states that non-player personnel of a club are prohibited from making unnecessary physical contact with or directing abusive, threatening, or insulting language or gestures at opponents, game officials, or representatives of the League. Violations before or during the game may also result in disqualification. Any violations at the game site on the day of the game, including postgame, may result in discipline by the Commissioner.DiSandro also serves as the senior advisor to the general manager for the team, having the job for 25 seasons. He joined the Eagles when Andy Reid was hired as head coach in 1999 and always was seen by his side during and after games. Known as "Big Dom" in Philadelphia, DiSandro oversees all safety and security matters for players, coaches and executives. Other jobs DiSandro has with the Eagles are directing security at the team's training complex, responsible for security measures related to team travel and logistics, and provides education on the NFL's personal conduct policy. DiSandro did meet with Goodell a few weeks ago, per the Associated Press. He can return to the sideline for the postseason. Eagles security chief DiSandro’s appeal denied by NFL: report
The NFL has upheld its punishment for Philadelphia Eagles security chief Dom DiSandro’s sideline altercation with San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw.
DiSandro and Greenlaw were both ejected from a Dec. 3 game, and DiSandro’s appeal of a $100,000 fine and a ban from the sideline for the rest of the regular season was denied, sources told The Associated Press Friday. The Eagles have paid…

Philadelphia Eagles chief security officer Dom DiSandro will have to stay away from the field. (AP Photo/Matt Slocum)The NFL is banning Philadelphia Eagles chief security officer Dom DiSandro from the sidelines for the rest of the regular season, according to multiple Saturday reports. The ruling comes after he was involved in an altercation with San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw in Week 13. “Big Dom” could return during the playoffs, per ESPN.The latest update in DiSandro’s situation comes after he was barred from the sidelines for the team’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday. That decision was reportedly preceded by an in-person meeting in New York between DiSandro, other Ealges personnel and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.Ahead of their matchup with the Cowboys, the Eagles said they were in an “ongoing conversation” with the league and would still allow DiSandro to fulfill the rest of his duties while his case was investigated. It appears those talks led to a more severe sanction. The final verdict in his punishment stems from a confrontation that took place during the fourth quarter of the Eagles’ 42-19 loss to the 49ers on Dec 3. Greenlaw drew a flag as he hit Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith out of bounds. As the players exchanged words, DiSandro inserted himself into the equation. DiSandro said something to Greenlaw, who pointed a finger in his direction. The Eagles security chief went as far as giving Greenlaw a shove, and they were both ejected. DiSandro and Greenlaw apologized to each other through intermediaries a week after their confrontation. Greenlaw was fined $10,927 for the hit that started it all. While Philadelphia head coach Nick Sirianni claimed DiSandro was attempting to "defuse" the situation, the NFL clearly didn’t take it lightly. NFL senior vice president of officiating Walt Anderson said DiSandro contributed to the escalation of the incident. The league also sent a memo to all teams, reminding them that personnel should never make contact with players or anyone else.DiSandro, 45, has been connected to the Eagles since 1999. Managing security for the team’s travel and home obligations, other reports claim he “educates” players on the NFL’s personal conduct policy. He still traveled to Dallas after the initial sideline ban, so it seems likely that he will continue to join the team on the road.
