         the people that knew adrian before he had met seojun would say that he had changed quite significantly ever since the two had gotten together. there was hardly a time where he wouldn't be glued to that boyfriend of his these or talking about him as if he was the most incredible person to ever walk this earth  —  but they could also say that he was very much happy, even if he had become one of those people that was disgustingly in love with their partner. it was perhaps the most genuine happiness he had ever experienced, a feeling he could never have enough of. even two days apart from seojun was far too much for him to bear ;  no amount of phonecalls and videochats in the world would be enough to replace his physical presence. upon seeing seojun arrive, adrian couldn't help himself any longer. dropping his backpack to the floor, he had immediately rushed to come closer, running into he was close enough to latch himself onto him  —  no hesitation on his step or his jump, as if he just knew there was no way he would let him fall.  “ ah, hyung! i’ve missed you too much! ”

well this was funny and weird.

your company got an invitation from SM to do a collab station and you felt extremely exited since you could see your beloved boyfriend around.

everything was alright until you ran across some Super Junior members and couldn’t help to say hi.

and then, Donghae gave you a cold coffee along with a biscuit, the order originally was for him but he wanted to be nice.

so Super Junior’s leader, Leeteuk, was there making a live and in that video you can clearly see the cute gesture of Donghae towards you.

Donghae is so serious yet hilarious when dating

It's the sweetest thing

I think dating him would automatically make you to the annoying couple with pet names and super affectionate

Let's face it, he's going to hug you every chance he gets

And this guy does hold grudges and most definitely pouts when jealous

Dates are very low key and may take place at home with homecooked meals

He is very sweet in an indirect way (at first it's indirect at least)

He'll buy things you mentioned liking

He does try to show off here and there and sometime is can fail

Less teasing than any of the other mentioned, but still a bit

Much like Yesung, Kyuhyun also has a way of showing his affection through action rather than words

Not one to show that side often, but he does when it's an important date or when he really want to lift up your spirit

Echoes

A/N: This is something that I would imagine to be a part of a bigger series but then again I struggle to write long term stories lol. Maybe at some point. Really just a snippet to get the gears going lol.

I never thought something I looked forward to would become so bitter. No room left for a sweet feeling any longer. Standing here off to the side with my group on stage waiting for final announcements to be made so that we can escape this awkward tension. I look toward Lea one of my favorite people in the world and her eyes meet mine. She reaches down and grabs my hand in hers. Both of us taking in big deep breaths.

"Well, I'm glad that we showed up late to avoid the mingling before the show." I sighed as she spoke. Usually we would be the first ones here jumping at all opportunities to catch up with everyone. Especially them. "Even if we were here before, we would still be completely ignored," Kat mumbled next to us. She looked over giving me a small smile, letting me know she was on my side.

All of this was my fault. Every hard stare. Every throat cleared in passing. Although was it? I was involved sure, with the rumors, that are undeniably false, in my eyes at least. It ruined my chances at a lot of opportunities and relationships. Staring to my left across the stage he stands there with the boys. Bang Chan, leader of Stray Kids. I make it sound a little silly but he is a very important person. To everyone and to me.

My mind goes back to the beginning of all of this. I had met this trainee over at SM named Donghae. He was very sweet and polite while making conversation, introducing himself to me. I would speak to him every now and then at events in passing.

I always saw him as a great acquaintance that I got to know. I would have never said we were anything more than friends and not even very close. "Donghae how are you doing today?" He smiled at me and clasped his hands together. "Much better now that we've gotten to speak." A nice warm and innocent smile that I had grown to really appreciate. Things did change after that.

At one of the award events Donghae came up to me and pulled me aside away from the girls. "Where did Y/N go? We have to go find our seats."

I followed him to the back of the room, not expecting a change of events that would affect my career for time to come. I remember the loud speakers and the chatter of people surrounding us. The nerves on his face and some sweat beading from the top of his forehead. I had a small smile on my face as he spoke.

Then I felt it slowly falter.

"Donghae, I-" I didn't know what to say. More like I knew what it was but I just didn't want to. Only because I knew that it would be what he didn't want to hear. I also heard something that I did not want to, so would it make it even? That is surely a silly way to think right? Thinking. I feel like I have been thinking for an eternity and he is standing right in front of me.

I played with my fingers, trying to not meet his eyes. I looked around for an escape but I didn't have one.

I coughed a bit hoping to get the words out. "That is very sweet of you Donghae but I just..." I closed my eyes and bit my lip. His eyes sparkled a bit and then they became dim in seconds. He knew. "I am sorry but I am not interested, I am really trying to focus on the group. I really want to put my all into this you know?" He looked down kicking his feet a bit. "It's fine Y/N, I understand. Sorry about that.

"Oh no you don't have to-" He walked away not waiting for another response.

I felt a small nudge to my back. I blinked a couple times remembering that I was standing on stage with a tons of our peers. I followed behind Lea walking towards the front of the stage to descend the steps as everyone began to leave.

As I was about to step down I made a sudden stop and almost tripped over myself. Bang Chan next to me and the rest of stray kids behind him. "Be careful guys we wouldn't want to get on her bad side." He smirked and proceeded to walk on off the stage. His lost boys following behind him. The last of them, Felix, gave me a sincere look of concern.

I sighed and walked down to the girls. "What an ass."

"Yeah its a good thing you never got involved with him." I force a laugh looking around again. He still thinks ill of me because of what I did. They all do. Lea noticed me becoming more aloof and linked her arm with mine. "You know he doesn't know the whole story right? It would take a village to get all of these people to understand. Why try?"

I would try in hopes of clearing my name. These people's opinions were important to me for some reason. Was it so wrong that I wanted their attention? I wanted his attention?

SPOILERS ALERT - Last Episode Reaction (Rant Part 2)

Nah.. it turns out that for the sake of my blood pressure, I had to make two rant posts in a row.

Thank you, Seopass-jakkanim for writing and creating this wonderful work with Kim Jinseok-nim, but I'm sorry that I can't be lenient about the less pleasing parts. So here is my reaction and long rant part 2 (not that you two writers or anyone would care, but I had to vent). I also included the pleasing parts at the end of the post.

First, you developed the characters' backgrounds in such a meticulous and detailed way and now you've abandoned them, or so I heard, to move on to another work. I mean gosh GOSH. Thank you for creating them BUT NO, THANK YOU for abandoning their proper arc resolutions. What would Sehan / Forrest and the others do? What would Jihoon / Jimmy do? Why are you left them stranded? Who exactly is Seongje / Wolf?

I appreciate that you tried to highlight the issues on young males' mental health problems by writing one character as suicidal (YES IT WAS HINTED THAT BAEKJIN / DONALD WAS SUICIDAL THAT NIGHT, WELL GUESS WHAT, IT WASN'T WRITTEN REALLY CLEARLY, WAS IT? Hmph) and another as depressed (SIEUN /GRAY, WHO ELSE) BUT you don't do that in a swoosh kind of way. No matter if they're suddenly reunited with their crush or best friend or whoever. What the hell was that? Show them being encouraged, show them opening up.

You introduced juvenile crimes and adult crimes into the plot and it's good, but now it's come to nothing. Why were they inserted into the story in the first place? To emphasize Baekjin's cruelty? As if school violence cases alone isn't enough? You could've just highlighted the school violence aspect. Now that part of the plot is left unresolved.

I understand why you make Seokhyeon / Kingsley so obsessed and that he has now dragged Dongha and Seongmok into this, who didn't look very happy or pleased about it. I MEAN PLEASE LET THEM GO? I know that they did wrong but they were minors and this is fiction, fgs.

You make sure that friendship is one of the key themes of the story but after that death, everything comes to a standstill. Is that it? Is that the point? But why, when your characters are minors with their future ahead of them? Why deny Seokhyeon, Dongha and Seongmok future too, when this is fiction and you're in a hurry to wrap things up for Sieun, Suho and the others?

Well I must be fair that there are good things in the last episode, though. These are them.

Hakho / Jake who found closure with himself and moving on to take care of Gwangseok /Kenny

Suho being okay although it doesn't seem that he's gone back to school (again, a reality with many bullying survivors).

The kids went to meet Suho / Stephen together with Sieun to Donghae area. No school trip scene, though. Everything is cut.

Jihwan (Sieun's old friend) being surprised that the monster Baku/Big Ben is Humin and is all smiley.

And he was so shocked that the famous White Mamba a.k.a Baeksa (the White Snake of Legend) is none other than Sieun. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

what's the right word?

my first kpop group was snsd when they first released gee back in 2009/2010 and i was 9/10.

i've been stuck in this hole of 'kpop' since. i turn 24 in april. thats more than half my life.

growing up in a conservative asian family and the elder daughter of two teachers, it's not easy to explain the grievances and troubles i feel like i've experienced. some might not even consider it a terrible thing. yes, i've had a good standard of education and had parents who took care of me but sometimes the challenge was truly connecting with people and finding an emotional support.

nobody else can replicate and/or understand the true depth of the love, admiration, inspiration and reliance a fan has on her favourite idols/groups. throughout the years, i've gone through the eras. going from the snsd/shinee/suju era, and then into the bts/exo/vixx/bap era, and then blackpink/red velvet/wanna one/nct and then i feel like my life had a significant trajectory in the 2019-2020 period because i started dancing.

after having spent a decade being so invested in the idol culture of perfecting every single performance, pushing past boundaries and the idea of 'not being enough' being the exact source of motivation, perhaps picking up cover-dancing wasn't the best idea. especially when i come in a package with a bunch of baggage, anxiety, stress, and other perfectionist ideals.

throughout the years before 2019/2020, my reliance on my kpop idols was emotional. i wrote letters to them like they were my best friends, wished them the best of health and that they were always enough, while wishing i was as good as they were (ironic?). to my past loves: sooyoung, donghae, minho, jonghyun, jungkook, baekhyun, kang daniel, irene, jaehyun and the other members who have helped me through alot - i owe my life to them. quite literally.

tbz and enhypen have a special place in my heart. because not only did they become the usual emotional support pillars i had all the while, they became my mentors. an actual source to learn and be better. enhypen even more, because i've covered at least 5-6 of their items.

this growth in myself and the growth i see in them was so quiet but so sudden last night as i filmed their performances. 'oh my god, i danced to this song back in 2022 and now i get to see it live?'

as a fan, i feel more emotional because not only am i a fan who enjoys their music, i feel like i had connected to them on the 'stage performer' level and though i'm still lacking in many, many ways, i owe my progress and improvement to enhypen. they push me both mentally and physically during practises and their want to surpass themselves always reminds me that love knows no boundaries. the love for the stage and the love to be the best version of yourself.

i'm quite sure there's some psychological term for it, when you rely on someone who doesn't know you exist, and that you gain energy just from this person's existence.

the story is much, much longer but i could write a whole fic about it if i wanted to.

to my strength, my (probably last) love, heeseung.

i could write a billion words about you, and it would still not be enough to share how much of my life, my success, my motivation, my strength i owe to you. the love between a fan and an idol can only go so far, but i promise it will be forever.

i have a knack for choosing the members who seem to be the 'ace' of the group, but you are so unapologetically open about being a perfectionist. that's just my opinion. you know you want to be at your best, and you strive so hard to get there, sometimes i almost feel sad that you think you're not yet perfect. but then again, that's the very thing that makes me look up to you.

saw you for the first time and probably the last time last night. thank you for reigniting this want to surpass myself in every way possible. thank you for reminding me that lacking is the only way up.

i hope paralive doesn't do ONLY in-unit events for the game because the possibility of some potential groups for events make me go fucking insane. i need rokuta ryu reo just straight up getting involved in (even more) crime just because they woke up feeling silly. i need battle of the mid (dongha and kenta, each one thinking they are the best respectively) the event to happen. i NEED shion and anne interacting and lowkey flirting for 10 stories straight in a single event before the rest of their unit drags them away or some shit and it's revealing they were just fucking w each other because they were bored.

I need a whole event focused on hokusai shion and sogo just picking cats off the streets and bringing it w them to the akyr house while iori just stares wondering why the fuck is hokusai bringing an idol group leader and a SUPPOSEDLY jailed criminal to their house with 28 different cats.

This is not a rant, however …

I’m mildly irritated that Donghae’s recent drama has such poor ratings.

I know that the romance/romcom genre prevails in kdrama but not every drama has to follow that pattern.

Some dramas are very predictable, they don’t care about suspense, it’s more about the look of everything.

With the exception of Panda and Hedgehog, all of the other dramas/series Donghae participated in were not your typical kdramas. Oh Youngshim was maybe closest but since it was based on a webtoon it missed some key elements.

I think it’s safe to say that Donghae, while loving slipping into different roles, isn’t your typical male lead either. Even compared with other idols, I guess he would feel too embarrassed to act like Lee Junho in King The Land, D.O in 100 Days My Princess or even Suho in Rich Man Poor Woman (for me one of the tamest performances by an idol in a kdrama).

And I’m asking myself, is that a bad thing? Must every male lead actor be Prince Charming? Must every kdrama be a Cinderella story?

I was very excited about Donghae’s drama and counted down the days until it premiered. I have watched all 7 episodes so far. Yes, it’s true, not much is happening, yes, sometimes I wish they’d focus more on Jung Hyeon-seong and Han Seong-ok’s storyline and less on the supporting actors’s. I wish not every episode would end on a cliffhanger, but that’s how the writer thinks the story should be told. I’m hopeful that by the end everything will be revealed.

Having said that, I wish the viewers would watch the drama with an open mind and focus on what they see instead of what they want to see.

I know that drama means exaggeration, everything is either seen through rose-colored glasses or it’s the end of the world, but every now and then there’s a more realistic, more close-to-life story and it should be celebrated likewise.

That what this drama does. Showing that life is tough, relationships are tough and the dreams you had an a young adult may fade away as you grow older. There’s no glamour, no grand gestures. Sometimes it’s even plain and monotonous because that’s what life is like sometimes as well.

(Also I’m reading comments about how viewers call Donghae’s character a red flag and I don’t agree with that either. There are always two sides to a story.)

I will continue watching and hoping that the end will bring a smile to every character’s face.

And I will continue to support actor Lee Donghae in whatever role he feels comfortable slipping in 🥰

Amongst the wide variety of music, Jason and Hazel notice his particular interest for K-Pop, specifically a group called 'Super Junior'. When asked, Nico says that he likes how catchy the songs are and their dance routines. Percy asks what's so special about them, so Nico shows them one of their videos, and Percy’s like, "Oh, I can do that." Nico, Jason, Hazel, and Alabaster automatically laugh because, nope, Percy can't sing to save himself. But Percy wasn't referring to the singing. He asks Nico to hold the phone with the screen facing Percy as Percy stands up. Nico plays the video (they're still laughing because they thought Percy’s going to embarrass himself), but Percy copies the dance moves flawlessly. Percy stops after the chorus ends and only notices how the four of them are now gaping at him. Nico, in particular, has his mouth hanging open, and his cheeks slightly flushed. Aeon nudges him lightly from the side and says, "You're a taken man." And, oh, they realized Nico liked that.

Also, low-key, given Percy's personality, I think he would dance like Donghae. Below for reference lol. It's the guy in the middle.

Well I thought this idea was cute, I was wondering if you could do headcanons with a mc who talks and gets along well with animals but especially with little mice (something like Cinderella~) she even puts clothes on them and names them :'3 for my paralive boys fav: dongha, kenta, hajun and kanata, if it sounds strange it's okay, I'm happy to share my idea ^-^

At first, he finds it weird that out of all pleasant animals you could ever talk to, you are into mices for an instance

He feels as if a prince like him has a lover who is Cinderella. Hajun asks for the names of your mice

Jaq and Gus for sure are the names he sarcastically suggested for his Miss Cinderella

He finds it so modest as you try putting them clothes that most of them were handmade by yourself for them

Hajun didn't even complain about how you were into mice, but he just slid it along. He even gave them some tiny clothes that came from dolls to fit into.

Even he provides the necessities of your pet mice. Food, and even a habitat for them to stay

Still trying to figure your mouse language.

It would be rude to say Kanata assumes if you have knock your head on talking to mice

As someone who lives in the slums around the city. Mice aren't that common for him to encounter as many would scatter along the road and streets where they live

He secretly treats your pet mice like his and even whispers secrets when he is in the mood to converse stories of his life, complaining much about it.

Offers food to them when you're away because no one is going to take care of them anyways

Kanata even questions himself why he is doing it in the first place

As long as you love them, they will do anything to welfare your furry friend
