So, for him, it's a peculiar sensation—feeling cherished. Despite the mix of vulnerable feelings, he smirks and charmingly takes the gift, not without teasing you for it.

Matt doesn't care for most things; in fact, he barely cares about anything. Definitely, before you gift him the flowers, he swears romantic gestures like this were indifferent to him. However, it feels more than nice to know you're thoughtful enough to make such a gesture. Despite his initial thoughts on the matter, Matt finds himself smiling like a fool.

Near: He's more than happy to have you around. The timbre of your voice soothes him in ways he can't quite grasp. You're aware of this, even though he doesn't always meet your gaze when you speak. His attention only shifts upon hearing the rustle of wrapping paper. He's stunned for a moment before you explain. Near takes the gift gently. "You shouldn't have bothered. Thank you." You smile at him, and he keeps the flowers close until they eventually wither.

dabi headcanon of the week: he is a very picky eater and always has been.

(please keep in mind im american without much access to non standard usa foods so i can't really comment on more popular foods and ingredients in japan)

after leaving his old home and becoming dabi, he hasnt been able to really be choosy with what he eats since his next meal isn't promised but when/if he has somewhere to fall back on and always has food available, he will be picky with what he eats.

theres also two ways i wanna go with this part as well lol first one is he has very little feeling in his mouth so he is the king of eating spicy and sour things even if he didnt like the taste/feeling of them before

i also hc he doesnt like anything sour, bitter, spicey nor most veggies lmao he isnt a fan of mushrooms or peas because of the texture and will refuse to eat them and pick them out. he also doesn't like bananas for that very reason too.

alt hc if you like some angst like me, his teeth and gums probs arent the best anymore from years on the streets and constant damage to his body so soft foods like peas and bananas are some of the only things he can eat without pain.

putting aside the fact he has very little feeling in the rest of his body theres also the hc of while dabi is constantly putting himself through unimaginable pain and destroying his body, I like the idea that he has a sensitive mouth that doesnt allow him to eat or drink harsh things so if he is able to he will avoid them at all costs. for example he also can't do carbonated things without pain and discomfort. pineapple is one of his his worst enemies.

as a kid he would always want to whine if meals were things he didnt like, that being said he didn't like to disappoint his father and would try to choke it down anyways.

i like the hc that end*avor had planned meals for his kids, they always had to be healthy and balanced and they had to finish it all. if touyas meals werent always planned and scheduled tho than he would try to get his mom to not add or make things he didnt like.

dabi x reader section: he will always make you buy things he likes to have on hand even if hes not always around. if you don't have a lot of money and don't mind him stealing, then dont be supprised when he comes home with lots of his fave snacks and things to make foods he prefers.

dabi would always be hesitant or straight up unwilling to try anything that he doesn't find visually appealing or really many new things in general. if you like experimenting and trying new foods make sure theres always something he likes around or else he just,,,, won't eat. not in a throw a little kid tantrum way but a he just says he doesn't feel hungry at the moment or straight up says the food doesnt look good

if you make something specially for him but add something he doesn't like or is iffy on without knowing, he will still at least try it, using the excuse he isnt very hungry right now or is busy and will eat it later if he really doesn't like it.

i like the hc he has a sweet tooth so he will be more likely to try new things with sugar or sweet foods like fruits and pastries. he hates dark chocolate tho and no amount of coaxing will talk him into eating it.

don't try to lie about or trick him into eating things either, for one that's mean and you shouldnt do that with anyone, and for two he is amazing at telling when someone is lying and he WILL find out and get pissed off at you, not so much about the food but the fact you lied to or tried to trick him when he explicitly set a boundary.

he will be more lenient in trying new things if you eat them with him or its your first time having it too. if you offer him a bite of something like you are just casually eating it and are seeing if he wants some too he will be more likely to try it.

i dont think he would know how to cook very well seeing as he didn't really have many ingredients nor anything to cook with before he pretty much moved in with you. so he will always stand in the kitchen and pester you when youre cooking, especially if its something he doesnt like.

(idk if this happens in real life BUT) i think mello and matt would find random food in the wammy canteen like plain crisps or desserts or cereals or bread, stuff that's not too overwhelming for near. cuz mello is afraid of being nice or something he would always be so dramatic about it he'd be like "someone stepped on my foot while i was getting your coco pops, you owe me your life now". 2.5- near would get those small pieces of side bread and a jacket potato for lunch & which was probably his autism-safe-food for 99% of the time in wammy's house, but sometimes he'd get something extremely cursed like plain pasta and cheese. and that's how he cheated the wammy's house nutritional system. 3- punishments in wammy's house would vary from detention to cleaning dishes or scraping litter. they would also have to do room service, for example near probably corrected a teacher's method and had to clean out mello's room. matt and mello would take advantage of lunch helper duties to sneak out chocolate, chips and other stuff. if they felt like it they'd pick up some stuff for near as well. those are the only ones i can remember off the top of my head, but i will make a part two eventually about the successor program and how each wammy boy got into it, the benefits and how long it lasts, thank you so much for reading this much if you got here!

Hello! Do you mind sharing the edible cookie dough recipe you tried ? I've been trying to find it on IG but I trust you more than the 500 random videos I've seen.

yeah doesnt help that they implemented the new "ask meta ai!" shit instead of a proper search

this was the video that kept showing up in my feed in fb AND insta. I did see the original vid too but ignored it because fitness bullshit but I stumbled across enough of Liams videos to think hes pretty decent and transparent.

I did not follow that recipe because I hate almond flour and also peanut butter. I used oat flour instead and vanilla protein powder and nestle mini chocolate chips. I tried the m&ms and it was awful do not recommend tbh even if it WAS that our m&ms were Bad the acid in the yogurt melted the dye off the m&ms and made the mixture soooo gross looking (and if you can taste the dye like i can then its also a bad time!)

I also made a batch this morning without any sugar at all and found i dont need it so will be leaving it out in the future. Oh i had been using brown sugar which i think gave it more of that cookie dough flavor than maple syrup or honey would.

I don't pay too much attention to measurements, I go by consistency, but roughly I use

2 cups of old fashioned oats (i use bobs red mill gluten free oats)

2 scoops of vanilla milkshake protein powder (i honestly just grabbed the smallest container my grocer had, but recently bought the quest brand and will try that next time)

fage greek yogurt, plain, 5% fat (because fuller fat yogurt tastes better! fight me! I'm not doing this for ~healthy~ uwu im doing this for Please Get Protein In Your Body I Beg), this is where I eyeball it. I add more yogurt if it's too thick, a large spoonful at a time.

I put the oats and protein in a food processor, and then add the yogurt, but if you use preground alt flour you can jhst use a bowl. I recommend adding everything a little at a time into whatever is thickest (so if you use peanut butter, add yogurt to that, and then the flour and protein).

Also a friend tried this with regular flour and a non whey based protein and a non dairy yogurt and was. Non enthused. I'm sure if you play around with the flavors YOU like you can find something but I don't think this can be made dairy free tbh but I also tried every DF yogurt I could find and they were all disgusting. So. (also ifnyou use regular flour pls bake it first. but tbh i dont really recommend it bc raw wheat flour just. doesnt add the same flavor oat or nut flours do.)

I'm also curious about using chocolate protein powder and nutella I think that'd taste gr8. Outside if the absurd cost of protein powder, this really is a good base recipe to use if you wanna try messing around with recipes you find online. People may give me flack for drastically changing this recipe but pls I based it off my moms oatmeal cookies all it was missing was coconut flakes lol

Okay, I think in the early stages of her pregnancy she's going to be a little uncomfortable with sex. Moods. I think hers will be a lot worse. I truly think that the smallest thing to happen will piss her off. That being said, her sleeping patterns will most likely be the reason she's so damn irritated. Some nights she would be able to sleep through anything, but there are some nights when she can't. I mean, having a child growing inside of you, it's going to cause discomfort right? Barely letting her sleep, always waking up at weird times just so she can't sleep? yeah, i think that would cause her moods to change. She needs her sleep damn it.

At first, I think she would be fine with how her body changes but also, I know she's not known to be vulnerable but I happen to imagine she would be a little more insecure as time goes on. Maybe something she used to wear, now makes her feel shitty. But, you'd be there, comforting her and telling her she's beautiful either way. Because she is beautiful, she just has those days she loves her body, but also days where she doesn't.

Please, Sevika is the mother who refuses to take a day off work. If she's told she is allowed, I think she won't. Of course, it worries you because anything could happen to her (I'm adding this in because my mother was like this)

As for working out, she probably would change her routine just slightly. Have ya seen those muscles? She's changing from something extreme to light. Just so nothing happens to her. I happen to think she would ask you to help with her work outs. That's a no brainer.

I also want to add this but I wrote about Sevika being overprotective of you if you were pregnant so I think it would be the same if she was the pregnant one. Always by her side whenever she's outside. Constantly rubbing her stomach If she's in pain. There for her 24/7. We know she can protect herself but if she's pregnant I think it's going to be a little harder so, you manage to make sure to be ready when she needs to leave.

Hi! I hope you're doing well. I will try working on my goodreads account again soon. I already have one but just forgot about it for some reason. But maybe it will help me to remember which books I started and never finished. I probably won't really write reviews or anything though. I didn't really need it cuz I mostly just browse on there and can look up book reviews without it . Then I thought it might pressure me or remind me I'm not reading enough which can be good or bad. I did the same thing with my Letterboxed account and just abandoned it..probably cuz I watch a lot of movies that are whatever to me most of the time or I just forget to update it lol. Anyway I read a snippet of the Starless Sea and am intrigued, although I probably won't get to read it until March at this point. I think it will be ongoing honestly..I know I said I was trying to focus on two books a month but we will see lol since I am always adding other books to my list. Thanks for the triggers of everything I never told you..I'm glad you enjoyed it!

So..I ended up seeing Mean Girls on Sunday. I also saw Wonka. It was kinda last minute but I'm glad I was able to go. I saw Wonka first and thought it was fine. I liked it generally but it also didn't feel like Wonka exactly? Parts of it still did..but I guess maybe I didn't know what to expect. I would've liked more with his chocolate making or the oompa loompa. But the songs were fine..except for Timmy being auto tuned was noticeable but I mostly accepted that. It seems like people like it or it wouldn't still be in theaters. Like the Color Purple unfortunately wasn't even showing at my theater so I don't even know when I'll watch it. My sister and I agreed that we would have liked it more when or if we were younger and it also felt kinda long.

I generally agree with your friends about Mean Girls..which was also just fine for me. I think her singing is fine but it's the same as most people who can just barely get by with singing. The songs are more pop so it kinda makes sense but you're mostly right. I mean..I think she looks the part of Cady and an average girl so maybe that explains it..idk. wasn't expecting much but I am also not as familiar with the musical as others might be. So sometimes I would think..was that changed or is that just something in the musical. Like I couldn't exactly remember how they explain Janis and Reginas fight in the musical so that was one example. There's also more focus on social media/Tiktok stuff that didn't really appeal to me and some songs just didn't translate on screen as much..I think Stupid With Love is the most obvious example which might have been the case anyway even if it's bad. Another one is What's wrong with me. The best ones on screen to me were World Burn, Someone Gets Hurt and I guess Apex Predator. The new song just sounds like a normal pop song to me and Renee says she wrote it but it didn't add anything different so I don't know why they changed it. I don't remember the original song that much but it's probably better than this. To be fair, they tried to get most of the songs to sound like pop songs..like with Rather Be Me or Sexy. At one point watching, I felt like it was almost nothing like Mean Girls, mainly cuz there wasn't that much meanness in the movie at all..like it felt like any generic high school movie. Maybe that makes sense and I'm too familiar with the film..which is not like high school at all. There's also not enough drama to me..idk if it was the actors or just how it was..like the part when Aaron runs out of gets annoyed with her then Janis does too..but like it wasn't a big deal. They also didn't spend a lot of time on her downfall/the bus thing..I don't remember these parts much in the musical either though. They also made Aaron more of the focus of everything Cady did..it felt like. Like a lyric would be about don't you wanna be with Aaron..instead of getting revenge for Janis or something, but could just be the musical. So I guess it was just a weird mix and mostly fine. It didn't exactly disappoint me but i am also not as familiar with the musical. I thought Renee, Jaquel and Auhlili were mostly great though. I don't feel a need to watch it again but its still a fun movie, but I understand the problems most people have with it too. I honestly don't know which movie I liked better cuz both were just okay to me. It's been a few days so maybe I forgot something else and the review isn't perfect. In other musical/Broadway news, I saw that Gatsby is going to Broadway so hopefully they made some changes. Also Corey Cott I guess and I read that Lola from the summer I turned pretty is going to be Eurydice? What do you think? I should watch the summer I turned pretty soon..maybe he is better in that than Mean Girls.

I'm generally not big on any covers and especially Taylor songs so idk! I don't think it would be a specific album, but all of these artists I would like to see.. i'm just not sure about the song. Now that we have Fall Out Boy and Hayley features..it seems like we don't need it. Same with Phoebe on Nothing New. But I could see Paramore doing a song like Haunted honestly. I'm not sure about Fall Out Boy. Somebody pointed out that you were the sunshine of my lifetime is pretty similar to he was Sunshine from Midnight Rain, lyrically at least. Idk how a cover by them would sound though lol. We also said Patrick's voice would be good on I can see you. Noah Kahan could do something from Folklore or Evermore. Idk why Cowboy Like Me comes to mind but we have already heard Marcus Mumford do a full cover of that. I also saw someone recently say Stick Season is the other side of Tis the Damn Season..also just lyrically, but I could see him do a cover of it. I think it makes more sense than Dorothea honestly. There's a song by the band Movements called AMP with the lyrics everybody wants you that makes me think of Gold Rush so a cover by them has crossed my mind before but idk how the high parts would sound lol. Soccer Mommy has already covered a Taylor song which is great..I could see Our Song or Teardrops instead of I'm only me when I'm with you though. TOP is kinda hard..they have different styles but I once joked I could hear him covering ATW10 cuz of the piano. For their other stuff, something from rep like IDSB or maybe Delicate..or even New Years Day cuz they mostly have piano closers. I can hear the 1975 singing Antihero so maybe that? what about you?

Oh wow..well with twenty one pilots, they have different styles and a lot of people recommend to start with their popular stuff first..which is the Blurryface album. But I think Vessel is good cuz it shows how the band mostly is and combines some of their styles. The first song I heard was Holding on to you and is a good example of this. But their first album is mostly just piano and slower songs which other people find boring, but it still has some of my favorite songs on it. People think Trench is the best and cohesive album but it just depends on the music you like. You could always go by my Taylor comparisons too but idk if it will help lol. It was good a day. And hanging out with friends was fun. I made the jello shots too strong and didn't have cups, so basically they're just jello squares cut up into tiny pieces lol

Hm I don't know the name but I like the sushi rolls. The one with the crunchy thing on top.. and its spicy sauce. See I eat things that are spicy.

For ramen, I like the pork broth. What's weird is that I also like ramen spicy but not too spicy. It has the bacon oil thing. I wanna try that since I keep seeing that on videos. That and I don't remember the name, but it has black sauce.

Oh so I tried the coke and coconut rum, and it is so good. I made one cup and it didn't have enough rum, so I made a second one and it was too much rum 😅

I don't really drink wine so I've never had it before. Hahaha I'll add make a list of what new things to try this year! From movies to drinks to food 😁

Hm I don't like 4th of July much. Just because of the fireworks. But I love bbqing lol so you don't like receiving flowers or chocolates?

I tried jello shots in a syringe before..it was in a restaurant in vegas. It's a hospital theme burger restaurant. When u walk in they will give u a hospital patient gown to wear while u r there. They serve jello shots in syringe, red wine in iv bags, they serve alcohol shots in pill container 😅 the servers wear sexy nurse costume n if u cant finish it, they will spank u three times with a spank board pretty hard.😅

Ah i see. Well each sushi place serve differents sushi rolls. As well as ramen restaurant.. but most rramen place serve pork broth ramen just different way.

I really love it when my ramen spicy and really hot in temperature. So it will take longer to get cold while i eat it.

Have u tried korean cold noodle?? One of the best dish to eat in summer. I love it!

But he proposed me on valentine's day.😅 on a cruise deck with sunset view before we go to valentine's dinner.😆

About a fox cub whose parents were killed by hunters, and he has to learn to live on his own. He’ll get under his uncle’s care.

The next movie is called

Cat city

/in my language it’s a pun: instead of mouse trap it’s called “cat-trap” so idk why they translated this way…

It’s about two societies: cats’ and mice’s. The mice are constantly harassed by the cats, so they build a machine to tame the cats. It's a political comedy. (Also, we don't talk about the sequel...what sequel!?)

The next movie is my favourite, called

Vili the Willow

I found this translation online, but he’s a sparrow so idk. When I wrote this I thought it meant sparrow lol…

Anyway: It’s about a brat boy who mistreats birds and so a lady visits him to ask the boy to stop harassing the sparrows. He doesn’t listen to her, but she turns out to be a witch, thus she turns the boy into a sparrow for a day to teach him a lesson, but when she goes back to retransform him, She can't find him anywhere. He got chased by his own cat and then he got lost in the city. He has to find his way back, makes new sparrow friends and learns valuable lessons along the way. (This isn't from my country per say, but it's very popular here.)

Frakk, the terror of the cats

Misleading title tbh. The cats are the ones who always play trick on the vizsla to get him in trouble. The black cat is the mastermind, the white one is a little slow and is easily manipulated. (She's my fave. Her name translates to Shy or Modest, but with a diminutive suffix to make it cute.)

Pumukli (this is German but I wanna talk about it)

This is in Roger Rabbit style. It’s about a little elf who can only be visible by those whose hearts are pure. He finds himself in Master Deer’s woodworker workshop. Pumukli likes to get into trouble, and they go through adventures together. In later episodes I think the master dies, so he lands with another person, I’m not sure….

Diving spider - Wonderspider

Diving bell spider….but it sounds rhythmic like this, just like in Hungarian. Fun fact: As a kid I shipped them before knowing that shipping existed. (Both guys btw, so I was an early ally lol)

This was a movie, but then they made it into a series later on. It’s about well….uhm. So basically a spider who makes oxygen bubbles to breath underwater, built himself a palace and is very kind to others. It’s a simple story. He befriends the land spider, who’s always grumpy and helps others.

A Nagy ho-ho-ho horgász

Idk how to translate this….The Great F-f-f- fisherman…but it’s actually a line he says in the cartoon. Like Santa: ho ho ho

About a clumsy fisherman who only fishes for sport, then releases the fish. His pal is the worm/ bait. The fish trick him all the time so he never catches any. He finds funny and clever ways to try and catch them, but he always loses in the end.

Pompom's tales

It’s my favourite cartoon! The main characters are that ball of hair called Pompom and the girl. She wears him as a hat and they help their friends like my favourite character: the big blue bird who lives for chocolate. (Chocolate Arthur) The girl’s name is Picúr (itty-bitty) and as a reoccurring ending Pompom always waits for her in front of her school until it's time for her to go home.

Mézga family

Also my favourite one and also most famous one in the country.

One day the boy (on the right) invents a radio (he’s a young genius) that can make calls to the future to the 30th century. They reach MZ/X (that’s the future-guy’s name), who’s their future relative. He has an invention that can teleport things back to the past. The father (one with glasses) asks this relative for futuristic stuff that makes life easier, but they always mess up or misuse the things, therefore getting themselves into trouble.

The ginger girl and the mom (in the purple dress) don’t know about the radio. There are a grumpy neighbour for comedy relief too. Also, there’s a spin-off series where they go around the world. There they don’t mention the future, they’re just very unlucky and clumsy.

There’s an other spin-off where the little boy travels space during nighttime and discovers weird planets . He was a fan favourite. Also the dog talks in that one.

Stiles stares at the Big, Bad Alpha Werewolf for an uncomfortably long time. His mouth twitches in amusement.

"Stiles?"

"You're a dumbass," Stiles tells Derek fondly, and pulls him in until their noses are touching. Derek doesn't protest the movement, too busy trying to calm his unnecessary nerves. "It took you long enough to spit it out, and you think I'll reject your advances?"

"Advance. Singular." Derek's eyebrows do that thing where they come together in a v, as if making a visible defense against any rebuttal Stiles might throw his way.

Well.

Stiles rubs his and Derek's noses together. "You brought me chocolates last week," he feels himself grin wide as a beautiful blush colors Derek's bearded cheeks, "Last week, Derek. It was Valentine's Day."

Stiles tightens his hold on the Alpha. No, not Alpha—Derek. Just Derek Hale, a man who deserves everything nice, on his own terms.

Stiles pulls Derek in closer, but he keeps his stance loose enough that Derek can refuse to be pulled closer. Derek doesn't.

"I may be an idiot at times," Derek huffs at that, and Stiles pinches Derek on the hips, "At times, not always. Anyways, what I am saying is: I've seen you, Derek. Even when you think no one is looking at you, I have seen you. I care about you," he adds, thinking twice about his choice of words. His love for Derek might be a never-ending rainbow of happiness, but that doesn't necessarily mean he has to say it all even before their first date. "And I know you care about me."

The way Derek looks at him in this moment, all defenses lowered down, his blue-grey-green eyes sparkling with a warmth Stiles has only seen in them the first time Derek held his nephew, is something that would remain in Stiles' memories until he himself is lost to time. And maybe, even, beyond that.

Cora is teaching Camden how to draw, now, and Isaac claims that their son will be an artist when he grows up. Maybe Stiles could commission Camden into making a drawing for him...

"Stiles? Where did you go?"

"Oh, nothing," Stiles just wants to pull Derek closer, even if they're as close as two people can be without forgoing clothes. He smiles, big and bright, but the way his jaw is starting to hurt he thinks he never stopped doing that in the first place. "I was just thinking about the future. Our future..."

Derek chuckles, low and breathy, and his warm breath falls onto Stiles' neck. "You didn't actually answer my question,"

"Oh? And how do you think I should answer it then?"

Derek's hands, which were resting on his back until now, slide down to his hips, and Stiles arches into the touch.

He hasn't gone on a date for years, okay? Don't judge him.

Derek seems to be thinking along the same lines as him, because he says, "You haven't gone on a date in two years. More than that,"

"I didn't date anyone in college."

Derek's voice is filled with awe and a softness that touches Stiles' heart as he figures out, "Stiles. You waited for me. You have been waiting for me for five years,"

"For a while there I didn't know what—or who, exactly, I was waiting for but. Yes. Yes I have. And I don't regret it, okay? I don't."

Derek seems like he's lost for words, so Stiles takes pity on him and leans in close again.

"If I kiss you, would you consider that an answer?"

Derek just nods. It's kind of cute how he's so flustered. Fuck it, it's adorable.

The kiss is chaste, just a literal lip on lip action, but it's theirs and it's perfect.

Derek's voice is breathy and filled with joy as he slowly walks away from Stiles. "Pick you up at seven? Tomorrow. Be ready?"

"Yeah, see you."

Derek grins, his bunny teeth on display, and Stiles doesn't look away until Derek sits in his car and drives away.

When he's sure Derek has safely reached back home, Stiles texts him:

you're a dumbass

Derek's reply comes shortly after, during which time Stiles presumes he must have been washing his hands and legs. It's a habit he's instilled in every single one of the pack, which is honestly a good thing, both so that the humans don't get sick and the houses don't get dirty.

Maybe. But I'm your dumbass.

Stiles seriously needs to stop smiling, or otherwise his face will be stuck like this.

i can't stop smiling, if my face gets stuck like this and yours is already stuck as a scowl, we'd be such an iconic couple!!!

Derek sends back a pic of him scowling. Stiles laughs so hard he falls off his couch. When he catches his breath, he has one more message waiting for him.

If I'm your dumbass, then you're my dumbass too.

Stiles sends back a heart and a kissy face.

His day turned out to be better than he'd thought it would be, and he can't wait for his date with the love of his life.
