Hey guys just so you know medical debt forgiveness works. I just had over $5k of medical debt forgiven through the hospital’s financial assistance program.

Always, always either go directly through the hospital’s site or google debt relief forgiveness programs. I used DollarFor. They ask detailed questions about your income and living situation, you’ll have to provide relevant documentation, mainly a tax return, but once I applied someone was in contact with me in less than a week.

Anyway apply for financial assistance with hospital bills! It is always worth it! You can typically get part or 100% forgiven!!!!

I frankly think you’re a scammer. But, here’s some helpful websites- in case you really need help.

Dollarfor ( dollarfor.org ) is a website that helps with medical bills- they’ll argue on your behalf against the hospital to lower or completely remove your bill.

GoodRx ( goodrx.com ) is a website that gives coupons for prescriptions- I’ve used them myself, and while it won’t make the prescription free, it will significantly lower the price. (I had one prescription go from 400 something to 165.)

Feeding America ( feedingamerica.org ) is a program that will help you find local food banks.

Fair warning, all of these are US based, as I’m from the US. (I do think GoodRx might also work outside the US, but I’m not sure.)

I wish you luck, but I do not trust you- nor do I recommend anyone giving you money.

Hi! I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this, but most hospitals have a clause that requires them to provide public healthcare to people who can't pay.
