Who would be the hardest pull for micky, Pete or john

Real talk? I think that Pete would be the hardest, easily.

I feel John would mostly enjoy Micky's chaotic energy because he's already used to Keith anyway, so Micky is just Keith but much more toned down lol Also Keith would probably hype Micky up because they're friends, he would go "No, because he's so funny, and so charming, you two would get along great!" to John, until he accepts going out on a date with Micky because Keith won't shut the hell up about him! Micky didn't even ask Keith to do that he's just weird like that.

And when they eventually hang out John is pleasantly surprised by Micky not only being very funny, but also far more intelligent than he lets on, so yeah, OK, consider him charmed.

Pete on the other hand would be far trickier. Micky is a very smart and intelligent guy, but Pete might be a little too much avant garde and almost pretentious with the way he talks and Micky doesn't quite know how to work with that. And sure Pete has a bit of a "goofy" side to him, but I feel that it would take time and effort for Micky to actually reach the point Pete is comfortable enough to be "easily charmed" by his funny stories and exaggerated. So yeah, he's 100% not hitting that on their first meeting. Or the second.

So basically, on a scale of difficulty it goes: Keith < Roger < John < Pete (Keith and Rog are pretty much on the same level though, I mean you can't tell me Roger isn't easily swayed by folks that make him laugh, but Keith is just a bit easier since they're closer + Keith has no shame so whatever lol)

I know you got townsmith, but are there any other inter monkee/who pairings you got?

While I don't have any other crossover feelings as strong as townsmith, I have two things to say:

=The Micky/Keith ship is kinda of an inevitable thought in my mind here and there because of the many photos of them together + the whole Hollywood Vampires stint where they just got together to get plastered. You can't convince me they didn't smooch while drunk! Specially with how much similar the two of them were, vibes wise XD

=The other thing I have to say is that I was thinking back to the idea of "the Monkees meet the Who and they invite their new brit friends for a fun time in the meat locker" from these two brief posts and while thinking about it a little deeper, I was going "So, yeah, Pete and Mike are just in a corner talking about their like, high art stuff, Peter/Davy+John/Keith are sharing jokes/stories and making out, but what about Micky and Rog?" and then I thought about the fact that Micky is a certified clown, and that Roger is very easy to amuse and to get laughs from, and Micky would tell him anecdotes and jokes and Roger, totally blasted, can't stop chuckling and giggling, and I dunno, maybe they kiss a little because Micky is just that charming <3

Anyway I've had so much fun drawing the boys. Peter was fucking DIFFICULT though. I think it's because in my brain he's this soft squishy little jello but irl he's actually got sharp features, lol. BUT ANYWAYYYY Nez was easily the most relaxing to draw. Something about those eyes. Mm.

There's just... so much going on

• Mike's undies saying hello as he starts off the struggle cycle by getting his leg caught and then trying to transform into a bat until Davy helps him stand up properly (and for a brief second he's rocking a crop top)

• Peter just giving up halfway and letting gravity take over (also rocking a crop top) before he grabs the ladder again and does a split in the air before getting down

• Micky going down the ladder like it's a fireman's pole and landing on top of Peter while he's still struggling to get his head out of the ladder

• Davy carrying Micky bridal style to help him down while Peter still fumbles with his shirt
