gonna be real with you all, max moving in with her dad is not the win you think it is.

#me when i go from one neglective parent's household to the other :3 #is it harder to believe that with a support system and like mental health help susan- who is doing an absolutely DOG SHIT JOB (not letting #her get off easy she's still failing as a mother) right now but is at least trying- would do better than max's dad who ghosted max and susa #at their lowest point?#shit on them together. the horse is there to judge you. peace and love to all :3 #also saying max should leave hawkins - where the closet thing she has to a support system is wrong. there is nothing for her left in socal #to be frank. she is better off with her friends then her family at this point.

so I found out the brothers sun got cancelled literally midway through me watching it (which this is literally the second time this has happened goddammit netflix)

so basically I was like well I hope it ties up enough loose ends it doesn't feel like a cliffhanger ending end of the season and I think it does enough (though I think there are other problems with the ending which I'm pretending they fix in hypothetical future seasons). I also joked while watching like the cinematography and the fight scenes are so cool no wonder why it got cancelled

but also lowkey maybe?? just with the way shows get cancelled nowadays on streaming I would put a huge budget on season 1 and make it have a big splash but also need to wrap up enough things because there's a huge chance there won't be another season

There's something really poetic about seeing a woman and a man walking their dogs and the man has a snow white husky that clearly cost him a fortune in southern California while the woman walks the calmest pitbull I've ever seen. Like. The status symbol and the companion. A decision made out of desire vs one of love.

A big Teddy's eyes... Another Christmas repair story

Teddy's person's person wrote last month. Teddy was fairly big -- over 2 feet tall, nice and squishy, but blind due to a run-in with a dog, and with some wounds that needed treating. The person also hoped he could enjoy a spa and be home in time for Christmas. A quick glance a his diagnosis photos showed that yes, his injuries were treatable, he'd dry fairly quickly, and we should be able to get him home for Christmas. Here are some of those diagnosis photos:

He'd also lost quite a bit of weight, but the spa would take care of that.

Teddy took a direct commuter flight to the hospital from SoCal and we got him right into his bubble bath:

Once dry and restuffed, I stitched up his wounds and then it was time to determine new eye placement. The eye sockets were too badly damaged to tell the original eye location. So I sent a couple photos of pins temporarily in place to figure out where his eyes went:

His person's person made a selection, and then they had to choose actual eyes:

I know his head looks a bit odd... that's because it's easiest to install eyes before all the stuffing is in. So for placement I had temporary stuffing, for eye color the stuffing had come out a bit. His person's person chose solid black eyes. Here's Teddy all better and ready to fly home:

Teddy arrived home safely and his person's person wrote:

Teddy has arrived safely thank you so much! He looks wonderful! I appreciate all the effort you put into making it an easy experience. Just simply taking the time to ask and confirm placement of the eyes or the amount of stuffing made it a very enjoyable experience. I will definitely pass along your name to anyone I know in the future that may be looking for this kind of service! I hope your holidays are wonderful! Thank you again!

He was all set for a happy holiday reunion with his person!
