journey’s end au where the doctor tries to kick everyone off the TARDIS and they just go, ‘???? no?’ and won’t leave. can’t be stupid and think everyone will leave you when they won’t get out of your house.
#the doctor is simultaneously so happy about this and SO annoyed. get out of his house!!! this is his tardis!!!!#(tentoo voice) OUR tardis. (doctor voice) MY TARDIS!!!!!#rose and martha and donna and jack are literally having a girls night in the same room as this argument#sarah jane was invited but did not join them. autisms.#however mickey and her have been bonding and the doctor feels so betrayed. sarah jane is supposed to be on his side!!!#can’t even complain to the metal dog. k-9 is still busy.#(sarah jane voice) oh i should invite luke and his friends- (doctor voice) NO CHILDREN ON MY SHIP#((tentoo voice. from the other room.) OUR ship)#jack manages to sneak ianto and gwen on board before sarah jane gets the bannerman gang in simply because torchwood is easier wrangled than#literal children (not saying much)#how does gwen manage to sneak rhys on that one time? no one’s really sure. he didn’t stay on very long but it was long enough for jack to#lose a bet.#i think only jackie leaves but NOT before she and tentoo and rose have established interdimensional facetime so that she can phone her#daughter and her son-in-law and her guy-who-her-son-in-law-is-cloned-from#(doctor voice) donna i need to erase ur memories ur brain will explode otherwise (rose from across the room) hey didnt i absorb something#that would explode my brain once. i still have my memories. (donna voice) YEAH DOCTOR CARE TO EXPLAIN THAT????#donna metacrisis is solved because jack says ‘fuck it let me eat the metacrisis somehow it probably wont kill me’ and then he glows for like#a week but he’s fine.#he is literally never getting rid of any of them. get found family-ed idiot#(god wait funniest fucking thing if end of time happens here and the master’s plans are completely derailed because he gets tackled by seven#different companions. kicking him while he’s on the ground while the doctor goes D:)#doctor who#tardis family au

Anyone else ever get randomly smacked in the face with memories and immediately want to go write a kid fic?
Or is it just me?
#Aka Emile is remembering going camping with his friends as a small child#And how fucking chaotic it was#We were just allowed to run wild over the whole campground because our group rented the whole loop and everyone was watching out for everyo#I still managed to cross like 2 roads when I was 5 and got lost and they weren't busy but a stranger still stopped me to ask if I was lost#And all the boys would bring their lightsabers and nerf guns and we would have whole battles#We even made little forts in the woods and stuff and we were fighting to protect the 'dragon' (friend's dog)#I was always either the spy or the doctor#There was also the time my brothers thought it would be really fun to tell me to just pee in the woods instead of walking me to the bathroo#I was delighted#My parents were not#And the swimming hole was cold as fuck but we somehow still got in it every year#And jump off the giant rock in the deep end of the river once we were good enough swimmers to handle the current#Once or twice we went tubing there too which was my first experience with that#And there was hiking with waterfalls nearby so we'd go do that#And that one swinging bridge that was really fun to run across#And we'd stay for like a week sometimes#I swear all the parents got the best sleep ever when we went too even though they were sleeping on the ground lmao#all us kids would end up in each others tents if they were okay with it#And all I can think looking back at it now is that a les amis kidfic would be fun to write off all that#Emile's chaos#I have so many more camping memories too

It's lovely when I read a book and some random paragraph in it hits me in the face like a train at mach speed
#◜✧ . ❪ muse. tobias. ❫#ask to tag#Before this I was catching up with the Doctors are Out webtoon too and atm it's an arc where an abuser#got back to his victim bc he and the authorities dgaf about upholding his restraining order like bro I GET it. I get it. I KNOW#Tobias showing up like that one surprise 'heyyy' girl meme gif bc he's the solution (<- getting rid of them Permanently): >:)#No matter where I look this guy manages to weasel his way in. I cannot escape#Now I'm thinking about how Wammy's orphans have such different perspectives on what they should do and what justice means...#to some of them (ex Near) it means catching sb legally by mostly lawful means and yeeting them into prison#to others (ex Mello) it means catching sb by any means necessary but still trying his best to avoid murder#and then to others (ex Tobias) murdering these people who he knows will escape sooner or later anyway is justice in itself#You try to put Wammy orphans down at a table to come to a collective agreement on how they should operate and they simply Cannot#Watari mildly fucked up when he made them ALL headstrong and under the belief that they're always the right one in the room#I bet any of them comes up w a cohesive plan and there's sb in the room IMMEDIATELY pointing out why that plan isn't it 😭#Obviously they'd still synch with each other if need be (ex Mello & Near) but forbid they work TOGETHER together as more than ~2 people#Tobias and Near would be such a funny duo esp. bc Near sees people resorting to murder as wrong and disgusting no matter if it's valid#meanwhile Tobias sees lawful justice as nothing but a farce because 99% of the time it does nothing besides giving a momentary#ego boost to the person who caught the criminal. and then beyond that it's no longer their business if the criminal escapes or not#but it IS very much everyone else's business; and why many live in terror daily wondering if their nightmare will return tomorrow#to be fair Tobias couldn't care less about their feelings 99% of the time either but Watari DID teach him to enact justice. and to him#getting rid of the root of the problem rather than locking it up IS justice. He perceives the problems from much closer than#other Wammy orphans ever have. He's RIGHT THERE in the middle of it whereas they're in some safe place far away from the victims#plus their backgrounds are far too different from his own to reach a consensus too... you can't make him believe prison = justice#just as you can't make them believe murder = justice. But I do think people would prefer Tobias' approach far more than idk Near's#again it's not like Tobias cares about how he's perceived by the people he saves! (or if he's even perceived at all) but I can imagine#going to sleep knowing the person/people/group/etc having it out for you no longer exists is a much more heartening sentiment than#hearing they've been sent to prison; from where they can send sb else after you or from where they can escape in due time

Started a new Darkest Dungeon file (on PS4 because my laptop is still not working right) and either it's been a long time since I last played or they changed the controls.
No. The Vestal did NOT have a good time here.

worst arcade headcanons (not mine!!):
he is not a doctor (he is literally a doctor he literally tells you this several times directly and indirectly and he literally goes back to practising medicine in one of his endings)
he is sooo sweet and nice just a little baby (he has been forbidden from dealing with patients in the Old Mormon Fort due to his fuck awful bedside banner; probably not unrelated, his cute icebreaker joke is making fun of ‘junkies’)
BUT ALSO he is sooo mean and harsh and unfeeling (he doesn’t like to say ‘stupid’/etc. in front of someone with a learning disability; he’s sympathetic to you wanting revenge on benny though he finds it distasteful to say the least; he will hear you out in pretty much any circumstance, including if you say you have a ~reason~ for murdering his colleague, albeit angrily)
he would fight boone in the l38 (they are two ncr citizens who are critical of the mojave campaign or at least in boone’s case how exactly the sausage is made; arcade literally expresses sympathy towards the perpetrators of the bitter springs massacre)
BUT ALSO he is as anti-legion as boone (it’s true arcade is the only other companion with a firm stance against them, but he won’t attack them unless they attack you, he won’t take a perfect chance to kill caesar, and he flat out tells you he’s ‘sure caesar meant well’)

(i do try not to think about that episode so much because it does annoy me greatly that it’s this build up of. everyone around the doctor loves him so much they’d risk destroying time itself to save his life. river resists shooting him, amy puts together pieces of him in her head enough to want to help him across reality breaking, and at the end, the whole of time and space hears someone say “the doctor needs help!” and they come to answer. because that’s the good he puts out into the universe. people will come. if he just asks, they’ll come.
and then the episode turns around and goes, ‘yeah, anyway, river’s an idiot for doing all this dramatic shit to save him lol. the doctor had a plan all along to save himself. he doesn’t need anyone’s help.’ like THEN WHAT WAS THE POINT. OF EVERYONE WHO CAME. TO HELP HIM. WHY DID WE BOTHER WITH ANY OF THIS.)

There will be a documentary released soon by TMZ about Britney Spears “post-conservatorship” and i would humbly ask all fans of Britney Spears to NOT watch it. There is clearly a directed attack at Britney’s mental well-being taking place and it is with every effort to lock her in a permanent care plan.
The conservatorship was an illegal and unethical breach of her civil liberties and make no mistake, she is still locked in it. Court documents from mere months ago list her as conservatee and they are in the process of assigning a conservator again to lead her “care plan”.
Britney told us all with no ambiguity that she had every intention of suing every person who harmed her. She told us in her court audio and self posted audios to instagram that her family was “trying to kill [her]”. She had a book slated to release and tmz reported this past holiday that there was a “paper shortage” while the publisher released plenty of other books in the same time and now we’re learning that two celebs are attempting to block its release. At every stop they have silenced her right to speak and move freely.
For some reason we’re not seeing the real Britney out and about and now they’re claiming she’s not fit to hold knives?! They want full control of the person and the estate again and they plan to win it in the court of public opinion.
Boycott this documentary. Britney hates documentaries made without her say or her commentary, don’t let TMZ continue to spew this narrative when they are directly responsible for her suffering.

It’s so weird to me when I see stuff be like “sending a fax??? How absurd no one sends faxes any more.” Because like, yeah, I do, for work, not infrequently. If you’re going to be sending sensitive information (I work in finance) then sending a fax is generally more secure than sending an email. Plus if you have a physical copy in front of you already, like you have paperwork printed out so someone could sign it, then honestly sending a fax is usually a lot simpler than trying to scan it, upload to your computer, then send as an email attachment.
