DTVA/DTS TAGTEAM TWEET-ATHON MOVIE #78: PHINEAS AND FERB: MISSION MARVEL (2013) 

In Which Phineas is a jerk for some reason, and Doof inadvertently teams up with a Nazi.

The first of two really weird Phineas and Ferb crossovers, this time with Marvel. It’s pretty self-explanatory here, what you see is what you get.

The superheroes lose their powers because of a Doofenschmirtz scheme being foiled, and they team up with Phineas and Ferb to get them back. On the other hand, the villains team up with Doof to get their hands on the Inator that drained the powers. Hilarity ensues.

My favorite joke was probably Major Monogram trying to constantly one up Nick Fury with the multiple eyepatches.

But yeah, Phineas is a jerk to Candace in this special for some reason. I mean, she does mess up a couple times, but Phineas just goes off the rails in this one, and it’s sort of weird and doesn’t fit at all.

Also, all the heroes lose their strength, but like, are they not naturally strong on their own? I feel like someone like Hulk could still put up a fight with his physique, even without powers.

But that’s really just a pedantic nitpick, this special really is fun. And I especially enjoyed hearing Stan Lee again in a brief cameo. 

8.5/10: This whole special just reminded me of how much Ultimate Spider-Man the series was a disappointment, and why Spectacular was the best.
