By the way, Terracotta arrived yesterday. To make sure I wouldn’t repeat my Lust for Sun mistake, I only used a tiny bit today (two sprays) and I regret it a little because it’s HEAVENLY.

📌Nhà ELDO

Nếu ELDO từng làm bạn hốt hoảng hay e dè vì những mùi hương độc, lạ thì lần này tôi xin giới thiệu với bạn một em bé rất đổi dễ thương mà ai cũng sẽ thích mang tên Divin’Enfant👶🏻👶🏻. Với mỗi sản phẩm nhà ELDO, mỗi cái tên hay hình ảnh đều liên quan đến mùi hương của nó. Với thiết kế mới thì ELDO đã không còn những hình ảnh mang tính tượng hình như bản vintage, tuy nhiên cái tên và mùi hương của nó thì vẫn còn giữ mãi.

Divin’ Enfant tiếng Pháp dịch ra nghĩa là thiên thần nhỏ 🧚🏻‍♀️vậy nên mùi hương này mới thoát khỏi cái bóng biến thái như những sản phẩm mà ELDO đã từng làm. Bạn sẽ dễ dàng nhận ra ngay vị ngọt ngào như sữa của những viên kẹo marshmallow🍬🍬, thoang thoảng mùi hoa cam🌸, đến đây bạn đã có thể thờ phào nhẹ nhỏm vì những notes hương rất đổi nhẹ nhàng và dễ dùng. Tuy nhiên ELDO vẫn chứng nào tật đấy, nhẹ nhàng, bánh bèo quá không phải là style của mẻ, với mẻ lúc nào cũng phải có chút gì đó bạo râm hay biến thái, khổ nỗi lần này mẻ định cải tà quy chánh lấy cái tên Divin’Enfant rồi nên không thể sốc nổi được, tuy nhiên có câu ‘’ ác quỷ cũng đã từng là thiên thần’’ và mẻ thấy trẻ con dù dễ thương và đáng yêu đi chăng nữa thì ở lúc nào đó nó cũng có sự ươn bướng, nghịch ngợm, tóm lại với mẻ trên đời này không có gì được gọi là hoàn hảo cả, cũng như phải có xấu có tốt thì mới cân bằng được, thế là mẻ chơi ngay vào note thuốc lá, da thuộc và cà phê. Giống như đứa trẻ đang đùa giỡn với bạn một cách hồn nhiên bỗng nhiên khóc thét lên vì đói hay buồn ngủ.

Bạn sẽ cảm thấy hơi bất ngờ và sốc, tuy nhiên theo tôi thì đây mới là lúc Divin��Enfant mang lại sự độc đáo, ném đá vào mặt hồ đang yên ả mới làm người ta tỉnh giấc chứ không người ta sẽ mãi ngủ vùi, cũng như Divin lúc này, phải sốc nổi mới khiến người ta ấn tượng, bạn cứ nghĩ đi, những gì quá an toàn hay một màu dễ làm bạn nhàm chán, chính vậy mà ELDO hợp với tôi lắm, chưa mùi nào của ELDO làm tôi chán kể cả một mùi hương nhẹ nhàng như mùi lotion em bé này cũng khiến tôi phải thích thú.

Với ELDO cuộc đời không chỉ có hai màu trắng và đen mà còn màu xám nữa. Đứa trẻ dù đáng yêu thế nào tôi dám cá không ít thì nhiều nó cũng làm bạn phải tức điên lên. Sau sự sốc nổi bởi thuốc lá, da thuộc, cà phê thì bạn sẽ lạị mỉm cười với notes hoa hồng ngọt ngào cùng sự bùi bùi của đậu tonka, lúc này sẽ là cảm giác oh yeah! như vừa chiến thắng, mình đã dỗ được đứa trẻ nín sau những giờ phút căng như dây đàn bởi tiếng khóc hối hả của nó, lúc này mùi hồng và đậu tonka dịu dàng và êm như chưa hề có một cuộc nổi loạn nào.

Divin’Enfant bám trên da tôi rất lâu, tôi nhớ mình xịt nó vào lúc 12 giờ trưa, nhưng đến bây giờ khi tôi ngồi gõ gõ này là 19h mà mùi vẫn còn thơm tho lắm, thơm dịu nhẹ như làn da em bé được xứt phấn thơm lên vậy đó, ngửi mà chỉ muốn nựng mấy phát chứ thơm quá để yên chân tay không chịu nổi.

What are your favorite gourmand scents?

Divin’Enfant! Prada Candy & Candy Night, L’Initial, Angel, Addict 2014, Noel au Balcon, Shalimar Soufflé.

Technically, some of these fall more into the amber category, but they’re delicious, powdery/creamy and seductive, so I say they count. My personal description would be “confectionary in the boudoir”. Except for Angel, of course, which is very much a bomb of red fruits and sugared seduction.

I also absolutely melt for Fat Electrician & la Fin du Monde.

I bought Terracotta after all. It was too tempting, the price was too nice. I bought her alongside the Nuxe oil and I’m curious to see 1) whether they smell alike 2) whether i can wear either (but especially the oil) into the cooler months 3) whether this was a stupid idea. Trying hard to stay positive and excited and not let regret take me!!!

I’ve been thinking about splurging on a birthday fragrance (you only turn 27 once and I want to start the year RIGHT) and im contemplating Eau Duelle, Coromandel, L’Initial, a trip to a perfumery and just straight up asking them, taking a city trip and buying something there. It should be a nice autumn fragrance, because I’m ALL SET for winter. Btw I’m so so excited for Divin’Enfant.

As I was thinking about Allure EdP, I sprayed some on my sleeve earlier tonight (still very late) and the scent is very 90s to me in a way I can hardly explain. Refreshingly fruity. Clear. Elegant. You can SEE the dark dresses, the collarbones, the slick hair, the neutral make up. Classy exterior with a youthful touch. It’s gorgeously well done. I need to change my associations to it. Also now my bedroom smells like Allure.

Although it’s slowly getting warmer, I’ve still been wearing creamy, sweet, warm fragrances lately. My favourites this season are Prada Candy (caramel and powder, an all time favourite), Divin’Enfant by Etat Libre d’Orange (orange blossom, marshmallow, tobacco — my most beloved boudoir scent!!), Hypnotic Poison (the almond-sweet, spicy classic. Perfect for rainy weather — who else could make you feel both sexy and comforted?), Bake by Akro (lemon and sugar, loads of vanilla — D&G Devotion’s slightly more sophisticated twin sister), Cuir d’Orient by Sous le Manteau (oh, I have a LOT of things to say about her. Creamy powder and sweet leather, soft and sweet). Other favourites I haven’t been wearing as much this year but still love love love are Chanel’s Allure EdP (peach, vanilla, jasmine — a 90s popular girl, so juicy and nice) and Dior Addict (jasmine and vanilla, the queen of cashmere-soft seduction)

In short: I’ve been pairing soft sweaters with powdery, sweet fragrances. Playful, comforting, warm — but maybe a little sexy, as well ❤️‍🔥

Yesterday while out with the dog, I heard the cranes for the first time. The wind is getting warmer, so maybe soon I’ll find myself with more crystalline, blush-pretty fragrances? We’ll see 🦢🫧

I had the most luxurious, relaxing day today. It started with a walk in the blossoming forest and rain-drenched fields, followed by a 20 min session of Pilates — after my class yesterday I wasn’t feeling like doing too much, but this left me feeling so relaxed and warm. Then, after a very indulgent and luxurious shower (I’m trying out the Urtekram sweet ginger flower shampoo and it smells really nice), I finally had a very late brunch at 2 that spanned roughly 1.5 hours. White tea with rose petals, salad, fresh baguette, it was so good. I feel like I’m blossoming, truly.

….and I wore Divin’Enfant for the walk, which no doubt also explains my mood. The scent clings to my clothes and I keep picking it up <3

these are such different interpretations of marshmallow and orange blossom it is so fascinating. divin’enfant is baby powder tobacco musky marshmallow its a bit grungy and i would say maybe a little dirty. its very much good with something evil lurking under the surface its very two faced and that really shows throughout its wear time. and love dont be shy is like opening a fresh bag of jet puffed marshmallows and breathing it in and theres soapy neroli and florals and its so light and airy and angelic and innocent. very princess-y. isnt that so fun and then honorable mention is kyse delizia de marshmallow which smells like a toasted marshmallow and is somehow completely different than either of these

To celebrate it being back in store, I decided to wear Divin’Enfant for the first time in a long while…I’m unstoppable. The hottest of these bitches. The most alluring.

Omg I really want to get one of ÉLd’O’s sample bundles because they have so many great fragrances - I really want to smell Fils de Dieu, Jasmin et Cigarette, Putain des Palaces, Rien, and Afternoon of a Faun!!!

Sweetheart, this took ages but oh my, I can’t recommend their sample bundles enough!! If you can and feel like it, I’d actually recommend the big one — it opened my eyes to many scents I wouldn’t have dreamt of ordering in a small pack.

As far as I know, Fils de Dieu and Afternoon of a Faun aren’t available in sample sizes though, unfortunately :( I would love to try them as well, it’s such a shame. Jasmin et Cigarette is a beautiful, light-cool scent on my skin, I adore it. My Suspiria 1977 scent, my beloved. And Putain des Palaces is such a berry-sweet dream, it’s a ton of fun!! It smells like those raspberry candies on my skin, then melts into something cute yet sensual and sophisticated. In short: Both scents are no doubt absolutely iconic and I hope that once you get them (if you haven’t already), you’ll love them!!

Now I can't help but mention another few favourites of mine that I wouldn't have discovered if it weren't for the discovery kit...

I. Divin’Enfant (bergamot, neroli, peach // rose, orange blossom, heliotrope // vanilla, patchouli, musk. unisex)

powdery, creamy-warm. a bouquet of delicately blooming flowers with a distinct hint of tobacco. dolce far niente decadence. my one true love.

II. Noel au Balcon (bergamot, cinnamon, peppercorn // rose, Lilly of The Valley, honey // cedar wood, vanilla, musk. xx)

incredibly sweet, incredibly sexy. warm but not too saccharine, cinnamon and honey with a kiss of woodsy notes that give the whole affair a little kick.

III. 500 Years (bergamot, cardamom, saffron // Turkish rose, oud, geranium bourbon // amber woods, patchouli, suede. unisex)

a renaissance fantasy. velvet roses, warm and opulent, seasoned with luxurious spices. breathtaking, schow stopping, incredible.

IV. Fat Electrician (black pepper, Elemi rezin // cedarwood, vetiver // opoponax, myrrh, vanilla. xy.)

marron-sweet with woodsy and creamy notes. A gourmandise delight, gentle and delicious, with the mysterious air of a by-chance encounter.

I kept this short but I could go on and on about those scents (and others). In general, these scents are so so sexy to me. I moan at the mere sniff of Divin’Enfant and La Fin du Monde had me all kinds of messed up while wearing it. Even when they seem to have a basic formula ("fresh and flowery", "creamy and sweet"), there's usually a kick in there that, to me, elevates their scents greatly. I absolutely adore them and I highly recommend giving them a try 🌹✨
