RUMBLE ( Core ) Movie Studio Series *Bumblebee Concept Art*

Un altro RUMBLE di classe Core invade la linea Movie Studio Series, ma questa volta non è un Tartar a noi noto, dato che effettivamente NON compare in nessun film, dal vivo o animato che sia, ma, quasi a voler raschiare il fondo del baril… cioè, spremere quella gallina delle uova d'oro che erano le scene su Cybertron del film di Bumblebee, ecco quindi anche i personaggi creati solo a livello di concept design ma poi scartati / tralasciati da quella famosa introduzione allo spin-off dedicato a Maggiolino.

A scanso di cromatici equivoci, il Rumble di quest'ormai sorta di sotto universo dei Tf visti o comunque anche solo pensati per quei pochi ma fondamentali minuti al cinema, è colorato di blu come nei cartoni ( laddove in realtà nei giocattoli era rosso, come sappiamo ), un blu scuro principale con tocchi di azzurro sulle spalle del ROBOT, che citano quindi la colorazione del modellino del 1984 di Frenzy e non quella viola / lilla vista in tv, e grigio scuro su testa, gambe inferiori e … martelli?

Sì perchè un po' pigramente il nostro robottino ha al posto delle braccia gli iconici martelli pneumatici come si vedevano spuntare nei cartoni animati, invece che avere dei moduli aggiuntivi come l'omonimo SS 86, o comunque almeno accennare una sorta di minima trasformazione o perlomeno avere i pugni scolpiti all'interno! ^^'

Certo, capisco che sia un Core class, anzi, META' Core, praticamente, ma il punto è che è venduto come uno intero, quindi anche se giocoforza imitava l'omonimo SS, almeno uno non si sente in colpa a spendere il prezzo pieno per metà giocattolo!

Martelli pneumatici a parte che potevano passare magari come armi per il Soundwave Voyager, un po' come aveva almeno Ravage Core la punta del fucile in stile G1 per questo Memor, invece qui abbiamo due pistoline che in Rumble assumono solo la valenza di decorazione da sistemare dietro la schiena, ma unite diventa ALMENO una pistolina sempre per S.W.

Tornando al robottino, l'aspetto comunque non è male, con tocchi di giallo e rosso decorativi, la faccia con un'inedita mascherina sulla bocca e ben snodato nella media di un Core class, "braccia" permettendo.

La TRASFORMAZIONE non è male, nel suo … piccolo, con le braccia che si ripiegano all'indietro, le gambe che ruotano e si proiettano pure all'indietro per formare una sorta di parallelepipedo anonimo che potrebbe essere qualsiasi cosa, ma cui la funzione principale è quella di potersi inserire ovviamente nel petto di Soundwave, così come già visto con Ravage.

La cosa più interessante di questo "coso" è però quella di inglobare le due pistoline all'interno, così almeno questi accessorini piccini non vanno persi da un alt mode all'altro.

Poco altro da dire sulla modalità alternativa, quindi, ma resta un po' di amaro in bocca per la scarsa massa offerta da questo giocattolo, assai inferiore rispetto agli altri colleghi normali e pure degli altri "cassettebot" SS 86 o no, quando bastavano almeno un paio di accessori in più giusto per non sentirsi in colpa dopo l'acquisto, o comunque al limite da prendere quantomeno scontato.

Ah, vai a sapere se per caso faranno mai una versione rossa e chiamata Frenzy, poi, dato che questo nome nell'universo cinematografico dal vivo dei tf è già stato opzionato per il partner di Bariccade del primo film di Bay, ma ehi, mai dire mai! ^^

Been a while since i've posted audio on tumblr (well, it's been a while since i've posted anything on tumblr but that's besides the point) Today i went and installed some new VST for music purposes and ngl they kinda sparked a new track the one i'm using in said track (this one) is the Soft Piano from LABS by Spitfire. It was free and it sounds great so it was kinda an easy decision

honestly i like to think that this track is pretty well written so i’d appreciate a listen/reblog? thanks :]

Ok I played both of the new episodes and I came here on tumblr to read something. I just now noticed that there are, like, A LOT of strange interactions regarding Lance: - Mathieu that says “the same Lance that...” and huang hua that shuts him up - Huang chu that compares Mathieu to Lance like it’s nothing, and also gardienne is confused about that - and also in the first meeting with the guard there’s a dialogue option that talks about Lance making a comparison, but the reaction was.. a laugh??? Wtf guys it’s not that great to be compared to the almost-distructor of Eldarya, or there’s something that we’ll discover later

•i TRANSFORMERS•

Nati alla fine degli anni settanta, dalle menti della TAKARA (oggi Takara-Tomy) vennero importati in Italia da GIG con il nome "TRASFORMER" (come li chiamiamo ancora noi quarantenni, teneri pargoli all'epoca).

Nel 1984 i nuovi giocattoli attirano l'attenzione della HASBRO, che, in accordo con i giapponesi, ha l'esclusiva per il mercato a stelle e strisce producendo e importando i primi pezzi, conosciuti col marchio "TRANSFORMERS".

Nella prima serie (sempre del 1984), vengono presentati due fazioni di robot avversari: i primi, gli Autorobot (nome originale: Autobots), guidati da Commander (Optimus Prime)un camion rosso, col rimorchio che al momento della trasformazione (nei cartoon) in robot non si capisce che fine faccia; comunque, il capo dei buoni poi diventerà uno dei pezzi dell'iconografia degli eighties; i secondoi, i Distructor (nome originale: Decepticons), comandati dal malvagio Megatron che da cattivo si trasforma in...pistola (certo, non una pistola normale, ma una P38, l'arma in dotazione dei nazisti, giusto a rimarcare la cattiveria del personaggio) ce, tu sei il capo dei cattivi e ti trasformi...in pistola?🤔Per fare male, devi fare da arma ad un tuo subalterno? Ma soprattutto, chi ha deciso che uno che si trasforma in pistola, deve comandare "gente" in grado di trasformarsi in aerei da combattimento, ruspe, cannoni, carrarmati...forse sarai anche il più cattivo ma sei sempre una pistola...mah, valli a capire...!

Saturation Knob by Softube (Windows, Mac)

The saturation knob is literally one knob that allows you toadd some warmth and shimmer to the vocals, guitar, and any other track you’dlike…

Basically, it just adds volume and warmth.

Just don’t go overboard with the saturation, if it startssounding distorted, dial it back down a bit… unless that’s what you’re goingfor.

One huge issue I have with this plugin is not the pluginitself, but all the hoops they make you jump through to be able to use it.

You have to register with them, also register with ilok.comand then link those accounts…

AFTER that, I know… super annoying, you download the gobblerapp and install the plugin, now you can finally use it!

TNT by Ourafilmes (Windows Only)

TNT is a Distortion/Saturation plugin which wasoriginally created for audio processing on drums, as well as FX and basssounds.

It comes in Multi-band and single-band both with mono andstereo components.

Both share the same saturation/distortion algorithms but thesingle band features a Tone knob that is not present in the multi-band version.

This Tone knob features a transparent 6dB crossover filterthat separates the low and high bands where you can use differentsaturation/distortion algorithms on each band.

There is also a balance knob that helps to level both bandsbefore final output.

The Plusdistortion plug-in is an emulation of an MXRDistortion+.

It has a wide range of distortion sounds from a little bitof dirt to a giant fuzz/crunch tone.

It emulates the germanium diode clipping used in theDistortion+, as well as the lo-fi op amp and just about every other aspect ofthe circuit.

Many parts of the effect are also tweakable, so you cancraft your own D+ based distortion.

This is an emulation of a Fuzz Face and a Tone Bender MKIIwith added controls for tweaking.

It runs in mono or stereo, and has selectable 2xoversampling.

The Fuzz Face was first made by Arbiter Electronics in 1966.

It had a thick, fuzzy distortion and was made famous byartists like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and David Gilmour.

The Tone Bender MKII was also released in 1966, by SolaSound.

Compared to the Fuzz Face, it has a brighter, more distortedsound.

Buz by Buzzroom (Windows Only)

This is an old sounding distortion/fuzz pedal effect.

There are loads of VST distortion effects out there (sometop ones too -JCM 900, green machine etc), but only a few have a bigmuff soundlike this.

Buz has a nice wide tonal range, and the ‘edge’ controlreally adds some “sleaze” to the sound.

It allows you to get that authentic 60s garage band soundwithout much effort.

Ouradrive by Ourafilmes (Windows Only)

This is a basic valve overdrive vst effect.

It uses almost no cpu resources and it’s very simple to use:

It only has two knobs and an on/off switch.

Simply apply the desired amount of valve overdrive to thesound using the DRIVE knob and then adjust the OUT gain knob tothe desired output level.

You can also use use the automation feature if you so desire.

This effect works best with sounds that have lots of low –low/mid frequencies.

Use it on synths, basses, guitars, leads, lo-fi sounds,voices or any sound that you want to slightly push harder, warm, overdrive oreven distort.

MEGATRON ( Leader ) Generations LEGACY EVOLUTION *Armada*

Anche il MEGATRON di Armada viene giustamente riproposto nella citazionistica linea Generations Legacy, e giusto in tempo per il 20ennale della sua linea originale e contrapporlo al suo rivale Optimus uscito come Commander, ed ovviamente il comandante dei Decepticon è un classe Leader.

Ma in quanto tale, al solito, già il confronto con il giocattolo originale è un po' deprimente sin dal CARRARMATO, sia per la stazza ridotta rispetto al modello del 2002 ma sopratutto per la totale assenza delle gimmick inerenti i Minicon, così come la mancanza appunto del piccolo Leader-1.

Va da se' che la scultura e la colorazione è ottima, e ci sono parecchi fori per armi laddove nell'originale c'erano le spine per Minicon, ma oltre alla torretta che gira ( ma non può compiere una rotazione completa di 360°, però ) ed al cannone che si alza, il nostro tank ad H può sollevare un modulo con un paio di bocche di fuoco, imitando neanche perfettamente una delle gimmick attivabili coi piccoli robot di Armada.

A livello di miglioramenti abbiamo solo un paio di pannelli sotto il veicolo che coprono bacino ed addome del robot… e basta. ^^'

La TRASFORMAZIONE è semplice come nell'originale, con i moduli posteriori che si allungano diventando le gambe ( e con i pannelli di qui sopra che coprono la parte interna vuota di queste ), mentre le braccia si estraggono lateralmente dai cingoloni anteriori, previo però abbassare i modulini neri sotto il petto e slittare quindi le spallone da sopra al fianco, trovata niente male questa, mentre il pannello che copre la faccia si ripiega dentro il vano del petto invece che slittarci all'interno.

Il ROBOT che ne scaturisce è fedelissimo esteticamente pure lui all'originale, e praticamente solo di poco più piccolo, e varrebbe pure il discorso del tank con le gimmick, tipo la mano sinistra sì semiaperta ma non apribile e tantomeno con il coltello che spunta dal palmo, ma giocoforza lo supera ampiamente nella posabilità delle gambe, limita nel giocattolo del 2002.

Per fortuna ( e vorrei ben vedere se non l'avessero mantenuta!! ) c'è la gimmick del cannone della torretta che finisce sotto il fianco destro, così come è fattibile la modalità di attacco facendo ruotare la torrette davanti al torso, ora sì con i due cannoncini che sono rivolti frontalmente, almeno.

Ma ci sono pure delle novità! Con la scusa della trasformazione delle mani, queste rientrando esibiscono una spina standard che può essere utilizzata per staccare il cannone e metterlo su un polso a scelta; certo che però, vista sta cosa, potevano sistemare una lama nascosta da qualche parte da poter mettere magari appunto nella mano sinistra, aggiornando la gimmick succitata originale, ma vabbè! ^^'

Altri cambiamenti sono le corna non solo senza la molla, ma pure staccabili e non così belle salde, che se si staccano quando è in modalità tank poi un po' ci si danna a riattacarle, in messo ai cingoli anteriori, ed a proposito dei tali, questi sono fissi frontalmente, non seguendo il movimento delle spalle come nell'originale, un po' come nel Laser Optimus Legacy, con i pannelli coi simboli che si alzano per poter muovere le braccia: i cingoli però possono abbassarsi lateralmente con un nonnulla appena si cerca di posizionare le braccia, niente di che, ma era meglio a sto punto fissarli un attimo, tuttalpiù.

Tornando sull'altezza, il novello Armada Megatron è alto quanto il Leader Galvatron Kingdom, ovvero una testa più di un Prime, ed è abbastanza imponente con le sue spallone, ma non così tanto dato che l'omonimo Transmetal 2 Legacy lo supera abbondantemente, ed anche a peso rispetto agli altri colleghi di classe è scarsino, QUINDI, ancora, e ancora, e ancora, non avrebbe fatto schifo o averlo un po' più alto ( ma così magari sovrastrava troppo gli altri Voyager stile Armada ? ), o potevano sprecarsi a mettergli il Minicon storico, no? ^^++

Acclarato poi che il nostro ha il torso allungabile e che si potrà unire al Titan United Tidal Wave a venire, possiamo concludere che fondamentalmente è una buona versione aggiornata dell'originale, migliore per forza di cose nella posabilità ma umiliato a livello di gimmick giocabili: ribadiamo che magari era pretestuoso riportare TUTTE le gimmick dell'originale, per carità, ma sarebbe stata cosa gradita qualcosina tipo il succitato coltello da polso e i bramati Minicon, che speriamo al limite vengano recuperati in un pack che vedere dei moderni Armada sprovvisti dei loro partner piccini.

Insomma, bello e ben fatto con pochi e dimenticabili difetti ( i polsi vuoti li ho citati? no? vabbè ^^' ) ma qualcosina in più ce la meritavamo per farci scordare le millemila gimmick dell'originale, tutt'ora raccomandato e fondamentale in ogni collezione degna di questo nome. ^^
