Do you have any good refs of Cleves’ post-reveal leotard?
Yes actually!!
Tumblr media
Top left is by Zahra Jangbar/John Kristiansen NY for Boleyn Tour.
Top right is Kelly Denice Taylor of the US Aragon Tour.
Bottom left is Dionne Ward Anderson of the West End (@snappy_six)
Bottom right is Lexi McIntosh’s 2020-2021 reveal costume for the West End
There’s a decent bit of fairly subtle variation between a few of the different leotards. That is heavily just stemming from different body shapes/types and fitting in ways that will be the most flattering on each. Some of it is more design details, like differing chain placement, Lexi’s top ending with a V waist while the rest have parallel, and the black threaded into the newer UK chains. There’s also been some differences in materials.

Happy (belated) Pride Month 2023!
Made this graphic back during pride month but since I was on hiatus I just never posted it. But better late than never, so here’s the belated 2023 pride post from me. As always, this list is certainly not comprehensive. There are likely other closeted actors and/or actors who are out but may not have explicitly stated their queerness. As identity is a sensitive topic I always err on the side of caution when creating these. And just like in past years, this only includes current actors.

Note
Looks like Dionne did todays evening show in the reveal look because of the heat! Bet the other queens were jealous she got to take a layer off! And the LIWs in short sleeved tees too
Ha, I was just coming to write up a post! Love how quick y’all are!
Tumblr media
L-R: Alice Angliss as Maria, Emma Jemima as Maggie, Kelly Morris as Bessie, Caitlin Morgan as Joan. @/thekellymorris.
They recently switched to wearing shorts for the summer months, but to my knowledge this is the first time to my knowledge that they’ve worn plain t-shirts since opening on the West End. I have a more in depth post about their costumes here.

For the matinee today Dionne Ward-Anderson wore her full costume. But for the evening she only wore it up until the reveal - only her shorts were back on after.

Performance Stats: 2022 (mainland edition)
Alright, it’s (no longer) that time of year again! Summary of all 2022 calendar year performances stats!! - This was a CRAZY year full of cross-production covers + emergency cover chaos so very fun to write up. It also made it a bit of a challenge with organization. If an actor was primarily with one production but served as an emergency cover for another, I listed them with their primary or initial production. - Yearly disclaimer that some errors and/or disparities could exist. - And as always, if you repost/use these stats anywhere, please credit me @sixcostumerefs (or six.costume.refs on Insta) And as always....a shoutout to Dionne Ward-Anderson, who featured in the largest number of performances this year, at a whopping 353 shows! Runner up is Andrea Macasaet at 327 shows, with Brittney Mack a very close third with 322!
