This is from that scene in chapter one where Techno looks in a window and sees his appearance, I've been constantly thinking about it since I read it bc it's that well written

I think this turned out good it was interesting to try and draw a braid because I haven't done that in years

Techno gets stuck in a morph. EXEPT, he gets stuck HALFWAY. Halfway between boar and human, and it is honestly horrific but also thats cool as hell. Body horror vibes right there

Tommy would also be an animorpher, and he would prefer a raccoon morph for the stealth of it. Noteble that he is not yet stuck

Maybe Phil would either be a normal guy, or a human stuck in a crow morph.

Good morning hello I was wondering what your username means! Or if it means nothing and is just some pretty words cobbled together to make more word

hello good morning as well uhh a little bit of both actually

originally it was derived from the name of a stone (chrysocolla) which i like bc it’s a cool color, but i changed the last part from -colla to -chroma (a little easter egg for you: it was originally gonna be -cora but it sounded too fem for my taste so i changed it)

in addition to the cobbling together words tho, according to wikipedia, chrys- is a greek root for gold and chrom- is a greek root for color, so if you break it down like that it (can) mean gold colored :))

(i considered/am considering changing it to cosmochroma (universe colored) but i think i’m gonna stick with chryso for a bit longer)

thanks for the ask! i’m a huge fan of having a lot of symbolism in my names and i love explaining them so this has been rather fun :D

The book is returned so I cant skim it immedieatly to recall event or whatever, so I reasonably am probably forgetting something but:

Laughed out loud when I learnt the darklings name im so sorry it was spelt Aleksander that is alexander if it was spelt with a ks instead of x

BAGHRA I LOVE HER I LOVE HER SHE IS AMAZING AND MADE ME SAD WITH HER DEATH :( why must all mentor figures die I was so upset when botkin died WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT TO HIM!!!! WHY!!!! D:!! Also Ana Kuya’s death. She was already haunting the narrative now she can do it literally why would they give her that power! Let her live!

I was a Tad upset they gave Tamar a love interest, purely because of my “she’s so aro she is so aroace she is so aro!!” thing from what Botkin said that one time, but it stung a little bit less that it was a woman love interest good for her (I still think she’s aro I can still believe)

The twist of Mal being the firebird! I loved that, also loved the thing where Darkling+Baghra are close relatives of Motzart, thought that was smart. The thing with everyone getting Alina’s powers were very good I liked it! Although the Darkling sendoff I didn’t really enjoy- the funeral part with both him and “Alina’s body” I didn’t like much. Maybe im missing something or maybe I just have a very strong hate for the darkling lmao

Nikolai also!!! I was so stressed when he became one of those things that I forget the name of! I was always pretty confident about the after of the story. Like, Nikolai would become king and he’d be an okay one, but when it became possible for him to die or whatever I was like OH SHIT THAT’S NOT GOOD. THAT’S NOT GOOD. (cue aggressive reading)

The betrayal from that one guy was more sad and tragic than anything else, also, because like he just wanted to be SAFE :( he just wanted to be safe!! And the little boy’s reaction to Baghra’s death was so :(((((

I should have kept notes while reading that would have made this easier!! Doing that next time

I KNOW HE DEATH WAS SO UPSETTING LIKE I UNDERSTOOD THE PLOT IMPORTANTANCE BUT ALSO MY GIRL. botkin did not deserve to die and I will die on that hill. Ana was haunting the narrative and I get she had to die so they would get the orphanage but it was also just sad

I get that I love Tamar and her girlfriend but on the bright side for you Tolya is aroace he constantly chooses poetry over people 

I know!! I really loved the twist and how they handled it. It made the plot so interesting for the third book. I will agree though the send-off felt a bit lacking. Desperately avoiding spoilers as a ramble with you 

!!! I KNOW I felt the same way when I first read it. Like I know he can’t die but this thing possesseing him is so spooky 

It was. He just wanted to be safe after watching his girlfriend die and he was just scared of war. Misha deserved the world and he shouldn’t have seen baghera his mentor die

Balling a hand into a fist, Denzel let a punch fly straight toward Sephiroth and given his height it landed in the lower half of his stomach. Hopefully that would give him enough time to run for his life. Literally. "CLOUD!" All he could do was yell as his sneakers hit the ground hoping his rescuer would be at his side once more.
