Hey, Chromic. I'd like to ask you if you could do some new damirae comics. I thought of something like... When Damian leaves Raven and Raven commits suicide. Damian would know, and I'd leave the rest to you. Or also... Raven would accept Damian's offer and go to the Assassins league with him. Some experiences they'll have together.... I really like your longer stories. And overall, your work with damirae ❤️❤️

I think you could refer to damirae week 2020 day 4 , about the suicide and stuff...havent done what if she accept damian offer but day 5 i think you would interested with it because it as if she about to accept his offer, (off screen lol) I’ll try to find time to do more comic about damirae and uh, there’s damirae zine available you can look at @damiraezine for more info and purchase 😆😆😆👌👌👌

We finished our zine!

When we first had this idea months ago, the goal was to find a way for our fandom to celebrate becoming canon after so long and to focus on something positive in the midst of everything that transpired in 2020.

There were definite challenges and moments where we were certain none of it was going to work out. Through it all, the support and enthusiasm of the fandom kept things going. What started as a pitch in discord quickly became possible because of the passion and creativity of our community. To everyone who jumped on our boat, whether you bought, participated, publicized, or just spread the word, we can’t thank you enough. All of you made it possible to bring our little fandom baby to life.

We closed sales on the 22nd of May after multiple extensions, and in a little over three months time, we were able to sell 128 copies of the zine with a total profit of $1440.00.

After fee’s taken by Gumroad and PayPal, this resulted in a net profit of $1310.64, all of which was donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In an effort for total transparency, we will share screenshots of the profits and the donation receipt. In addition to the fans and creators, we of course have to recognize the incredible team at Warner Bros Animation who took a chance on something new and gave our fandom its start.

A massive thank you to: JTucker, Sam Liu, Christina Sotta and the entire team responsible for the DCAMU at DC Comics and WarnerBros animations. To Taissa Farmiga and Stuart Allan for breathing life into the characters we came to love. Lastly, we are immensely grateful to all 23 artists, 17 writers and 9 staff who put so much time and energy into making this project a success. Every one of you is incredible, and we hope that this project inspires many creators to follow what you love — after all, canon is something we have the power to create!

Welcome to the DamiRae Zine!

A project made by fans for fans! 

✦To celebrate the pairing of Damian Wayne and Raven (Rachel) Roth✦

2020 has been a real rollercoaster for fans of the DamiRae ship. We officially became canon in the last film of the DC Animated Movie Universe, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War! However, at the same time we were completely forgotten in the comics.

We know how disappointing that may sound, mainly after waiting so long for these two to come together. And it's for that reason we at the DamiRae Discord decided that we should unite, roll up our sleeves and launch a new project: The DamiRae Zine!

We are counting on the collaboration of all you shippers to make this a blast!

What is a Zine?

A fanzine (fan magazine or zine) is a non-professional and unofficial publication, produced by enthusiasts and fans of a particular popular cultural interest, for the pleasure of others who share your interest. In other words, a Zine is an unofficial project, unaffiliated to DC Comics, made for our nice little fandom.  Fanart and Fanfics galore!

The title for this zine project is - “To Find You Again”!! We welcome the many wonderful Artists & Writers of our fandom, and will be immensely grateful if you all participate. There is already a chosen theme and a chosen date for entry and delivery of works so we can keep things organized and fair for everyone. 

The theme of our first DamiRae Zine will be “12 Months of DamiRae” [Seasons & Holidays]. Each participant can choose which month(s) they’d like to make pieces on. Unleash your creativity, everyone is welcome! (Note: We’re aiming for approx. 20 creators - some staff are already participating in the zine, so if this # is exceeded we will make an extra announcement, limiting entries)

There is a page limit for every creator!

> Writer Info & Page Limit: maximum 10 pages, font 10, 1.5 spacing 

It does not have to be one story, as long as it is within page limit

If you wish to collab with an artist for illustrations, DM them personally

Any illustration will be counted in the writer’s 10 page limit

All final work will need to be in *English*, proofreaders (for translated work) and betas will be found and matched for you if help is needed 

> Artist Info & Page Limit: maximum 8 pages (= 4 full spreads), each page (estimated) 8 x 11 inches, final file format JPEG/JPG

As we have yet to decide on printing, we suggest you start on a high resolution, preferably fit for A4 paper size

**Remember that the rating will be T (may contain violence, suggestive themes, strong language, cannot contain anything explicit, triggering, NSFW or +18)

We are also in need of... 

> Editors & Writing Betas & Proofreaders: We have a separate Zine Discord; if you would like to become part of the staff and help us in editing, or have any experience in zine making, please let us know as well!

The deadlines have been decided and will be as follows:

September 15 - Opening of our Zine, entries available through Ask or DM or E-Mail - we will compile a list of participants

September 24 - Zine Participant entry deadline, participant list will be announced

December 10 - Deadline for sending ALL FINAL works.

December 14 - Estimated official launch of our Zine.

> There will be progress checks by staff on the 15th of October and November. We have limited time and staff, so commitment and responsibility from the participants is crucial to have quality work!

> The submitted work MUST be original and not previously posted to any social media and must NOT be posted anywhere until after the official release of our Zine, with an exception for small previews (ask staff for further instruction).

> Printing and shipping logistics will be discussed and announced asap!

We hope to see you all as excited as we are. We want to make this a celebratory moment from fans, for fans and we want to do this together with you! Share your love for the DamiRae ship with us!
