I was curious about Elven fashion fads, and how different ones come and go, and like 1200+ year old elf getting exited that a level six is wearing the same outfits people wore when she was a level six. So I made some up. 1. Earrings that are a fungi ecosystem growing in a miniature Mycology encyclopedia. After a while, the fungi will have broken the book down enough that you throw the entire thing into your at-home mushroom garden! A hole is cut in many of the pages with a clear sheet over it so you can see the mushrooms growing inside. You can buy them, or you can DIY them at home (I imagine DIY Mycology Earrings were a big thing when Della was a kid)

2. Best Friends eyeshadow. Eye Shadow made with Enzymes that glow and sparkle when near each other. You and your bestie can coordinate a day of the week to wear it at the same time. (This was in waaaay back when, when like, Luzia Vacker was a kid, but people kept getting eye rashes, and then it came back when Oralie was kid, improved so that it didn’t send you to the healing center when the two wearers got to close, starting a rumor that you were allergic to your best friend.)

3. This was more for older people when they got engaged/just ' wanted to do something special, or even for a wedding anniversary, and can be wedding rings. Like Cognate rings, they have customizable initials for you and your partner, but magnet together with emotional energy rather than mental energy. They cover joy and excitement, but also anger, grief, (etc) to help them remember to be there for each other all the time, not just the good times. It goes in and out, but is always kind of referred to as old fashioned. 4. Magnetic Eyelash extensions. Hear me out, elves having things that humans would go absolutely not (like these) and humans having things that make elves go absolutely not (like drawn on eyebrows, contour, death penalty, and Elvis haircuts) I don’t mean the eyelashes that are just extension that go into your eyelash, I mean mascara, and then separate eyelash things that float in front of your eyelash because they and the mascara are made of some elven mineral that attracts until the get to close and it repels. ”No, those haven’t been in style since my grandma was a kid!” “But mom, it’s coming back!” (*cough* winged eyeliner and mom jeans *cough*)

5. You just rub it on your face and it makes your freckles and birth marks florescent, sparkly, or different colors. I would use it. It could be like a Platypus or one of those weird Australian beard sharks and have my freckles glow under black light. 6. Bags and pockets are out, vibrant lip hues are in. But how do you carry around your lipstick without a bag or pocket? Easy! With these Lipstick Earrings! You can screw off the bottom and extend a bit of lipstick to touch up you makeup. Made quick with a string that pulls them right back into place when you let go. (This is dumb and I have nothing to say about it other than absolutely) 7. Idk what I was thinking. You can write on it, but the writing is only visible from the front, otherwise it just looks like a compact mirror with some makeup. Great for cheating in school, and hiding things from the government. I have no slogan.

Lucy was explaining the matching holiday sweatshirts that she, Tim and Tamara were wearing to Nyla, James and Jann when Angela snuck up to tap Tim’s arm.

Tim leans down next to her and says, “one sec, I love how she lights up when she explains how clever she is.”

Lucy points to a grinning Tamara who curtsies as Lucy says, “That one sent me a link from ClipTalk as a joke of these customizable holiday sweatshirts, so I got them for the entire family for our “favorite things” newsletter and photo.  As you can see, Tim in his green sweatshirt has circles containing a rams helmet, a football, the dodgers logo, Tam, Kojo and me.  That’s my hand in an I-L-Y on his heart. (Tim stood up a little straighter as people turned to inspect his shirt); Tamara’s white sweatshirt is covered in pics of Kojo, me, Officer Zaddy (Tim), books, and Austin;  my red sweatshirt has Tim, Kojo,Tamara, Nevin’s chai latte, Jack, jackson and on my heart is Tim’s hand in the same ILY hand signal.  We had to also get one for Kojo - so his hoodie has pics of all of us on it.  The sweatshirts are double lined so they are perfect for this cold snap we are having.”

Tim turned to Angela and whispered, “She hasn’t yet found the circle that I had added that says, “will you marry me?” on it.  So who knows when the engagement will happen.  Thank you by the way for helping me with the ring.”

Angela wraps her arm around Tim and squeezes -she loves how happy both he and Lucy are.  But that’s not why she’s here.  

Quickly remembering, Angela turns to Tim and says, “Tim - We have a CODE: ORANGE happening on the back deck.”

Tim is on instant alert and the group stops laughing to focus on Angela.  Tim turns to her and asks, “Sleazy Santa or Rabid Reindeer?”   

Angela says, “Rabid Reindeer - you and Wesley are going to approach him while I get my abuela out of there.  She’s 85 Tim, her heart cannot handle this.”

As Tim and Angela quickly weave through the families in Patrice’s living room towards the back deck, Lucy and Nyla look at each other in complete confusion.  “Should we go after them?”  

Jann takes that moment to chime in and say, “No, sadly this is not our first Rabid Reindeer alert. Dammit, give the man a inch and he takes a yard. Angela must have finally taken him off of double-secret probation and invited him to the party.  We call him Rabid Reindeer because he gets drunk on Rumplemintz Schnaps and french kisses any female over 50 -  by standing with a decrepit bit of mistletoe on a headbad which hangs over the person in front of him.  You think he’s going to hug you, but then he just lays one on you instead.”  

Jann added, “He got banned from the party 5 years ago after kissing Angela’s mom - who promptly hit him over the head with her purse after dumping the still warm hot toddies all over him.

Smitty and Mistletoe should never be in the same room together.”

I have a *few* more but for now I'll just do Best Friends/Gentleman's Club.

Additionally, my thoughts/analysis are largely derived from the Homestuck text/wiki, the Hiveswap Extended Zodiac aspect descriptions, and the Class analysis/decriptions found here.

Chuck Taylor = Knight of Blood

Yes I am giving Chuck Karkat's classpect, but when you think about it, Chuck iiiis kind of a Karkat, even though he doesn't have mutant blood. Regarding the Blood part, Chuck is often defined by his bonds to other wrestlers, whether F.I.S.T., The Gentleman's Club, or Best Friends. Being very ambitious, he often places himself as the leader of his groups or at the very least defines himself as "The Brains" (also being the one basically in charge of mentoring Yuta), but whether he's actually that successful at said role is a bit debatable. Regardless, he is often a driving force in the lives of his friends whether or not he's making wise choices. And as a Knight he both uses these bonds to move forward and feels a great need to help out his friends, even to his detriment (see: WTL 2018 "I just wanted your mom to be proud of us" and agreeing to a stipulation where he would be forced into servitude to Miro in justice of Trent). Wow I wonder what other character who also lashes out at people and is deeply insecure ALSO obsesses over being able to help his friends

Trent? Beretta = Heir of Heart

I would say Greg is someone who wears his heart on his sleeve. He is very straightforward and doesn't care for overdramatic bullshit when he's going into or preparing for a match, he's just going to do what he does and hopefully do good at it, like Heirs are kinda known to. He's said before he prefers singles matches, which goes with the individualistic nature the Extended Zodiac describes for Heart, but his emotional closeness to his friends often makes him much more of team player. Speaking of, although he doesn't care abt other people's dramatic bullshit, he's very protective of his friends (& mom) and is keyed into their emotional wellbeing even if he doesn't entirely understand a situation (standing with Chuck in WTL, or standing up for Chuck & OC when Yuta decided to leave). Sue being such a big part of him also definitely fits the motif of being an Heir of Heart.

Orange Cassidy = Bard(??) of Breath

I feel like the Breath aspect is obvious enough. In fact, I think the Extended Zodiac description for Breath can be applied to him pretty well: "Flexible and driven, they leave an impact wherever they go. ... They have a tendency to underestimate themselves, and not always out of poor self-esteem. They were just doing their own thing." OC is very much a go with the flow guy, while also using his quickness and his opponents' reactions toward him to his advantage. I'm hesitant to give him Bard as a class (maybe in part b/c I don't see him wearing a cod piece but I suppose god tier outfits are customizable anyway) but the passive way he allows his disposition to fuck w/ opponents does kinda fit.

Kris Statlander = Witch of Space

Another canon classpect assignment but wow wouldn't you know it Kris is kind of a Jade too (imo). Space definitely fits with Kris's alien gimmick, but she's also someone who can have her head in the clouds and does things her way to reach her goals even if others don't understand. As a Witch of Space, Kris is both very powerful and very social, quick to form bonds and use her strengths to help as much as she can.

Drew Gulak = Mage of Mind

THE LEGAL EAGLE IS A MIND PLAYER YES. Drew likes to insert logic & reasoning into everything and definitely has his own idea of what is Right with some interesting methods on how to get there (see his campaigns). He is very strategically minded, also being a technical wrestler, but more so for his own goals--which often have some kind of greater purpose--and in the ring than as a team strategist if that makes sense (hence Mage).

Swamp Monster = Muse of Life

Swampy is a very passive social creature literally made of plants. He cares deeply about those around him to the point of self-sacrifice, traits associated with both the Muse class and Life aspect. Remember what he did for OC? :'''(((( Also, despite being bullied by Chuck I think Swampy inspires a lot of morale & happiness for the GC.

BONUS - I haven't figured out a class yet but Lil' Kazu is definitely a Light player. He strategically plays the long game in his matches, he's the Rainmaker (fortune is highly associated w/ Light), and his post-excursion career in njpw started with him trying and eventually taking the spotlight from Tana.

I also originally had Wheeler Yuta too, but I don't really agree with what I decided, especially w/ the recent storyline.

Today we're visiting the Tia family, where we have our first 2nd generation couple and their kids. I know Lovetar Imago (now Tia) will end up being the oldest teenager of her generation, but I don't care about this lack of sync between families, especially that you know how my mortality rolls go...

At the very beginning of the round the heir, Zet Tia, wanted to ask his new bride on a date, so the newlyweds had their 'honeymoon'.

I was actually really surprised Lovetar kept rolling the 'gain a skill' want. It must have been because her romance wants got fulfilled all the time because of the dates. She behaved more like a knowledge sim than her husband did, besides not wanting to see ghosts. Her husband aspired to see the ghost of his mom, which came true.

The Tia household was also lucky enough to get a genie lamp (probably because Lovetar is a sim who maxed out 2 hobbies). I might make getting the dusty old lamp into some sort of a milestone, just like domesticating the wolves, which will hopefully happen soon.

The weather was quite mild on this lot. Noone was on the brink of a heatstroke and they all even lost their sunburns.

Zet's younger sister, Mutneferet, was initially rolled to be a Romance sim, but I overrulled it, because I can't just keep having female Romance sims, especially that her brother's wife is already one... So I rolled again and she's a Fortune sim, which fits better. Their father is also a Fortune sim after all, and I like the idea of children sharing goals with their parents, especially if their parents' life dreams were never fulfilled.

Mutneferet managed to get Gold Fishing and Gold Gardening Badges shortly after aging up, which is great.

Zet and Lovetar's next child managed to survive (so no miscarriages for Lovetar). Unfortuantely, the mother paid the ultimate price for their heir being born...
