thank you for asking !! im not sure if i can like write down the c-slur for this since im not physically disabled (im like in constant mild physical pain ngl, my doctors never took it seriously, so ive got no clue whats going on there, but like im pretty sure its just my sensitivity issues that makes it so that existing hurts, so thatd make it neurological i think?? idk), heres a c-punk version tho !! wasnt sure if cpunk or c-punk was more widely used since ive seen both so i did both ! that flag is gorgeous btw

i am Deaf, have level 1 autism, and social anxiety disorder. i suspect other things as well but i will not share them due to privacy!

We're The Oxygenated Bots! Welcome to our blog! Our name is a play on the quote "you must put your mask on before helping on the plane of there is an emergency", and we use it in relation to our metal health, and how we must help ourselves before helping others.

We have many names, but you may call us The Demons or The Bots or Oxygenated/Oxygen (or even just Bitch lol) here. It/gore/it&/any pronouns except for they/them. Full set of neos are gore/gore/gores/gores/goreself, and it&/it&/its&/its&/it&self.

We don't tag reclaimed slurs so block us if that makes you uncomfortable.

We don't have a proper DNI, infact we're probably that "freak" in YOUR DNI as we keep a lot of labels on the down low to avoid harassment lol. We'll just block you if we're uncomfortable and we have motivation to check your blog.

Is a wheelchair user trying to board the bus? Do you know what you should do as an abled bodied person?

Tl;dr: make sure wheelchair seating is open and available. Defend us when bus drivers don't do their jobs. Ask us how you can help. Research wheelchairs on public transit in your area.

This is a bus in my city. Unfortunately I couldn't find a picture of the bus completely sideways so the last door gets pretty hidden but I labled as well as I could.

The main entrance is at the front of the bus. This is where most people get on and pay the driver. This doors will usually automatically be opened at stops. Sometimes there are steps to get in through this door. If you are physically able to this is the door you should use. The door next to it usually will be marked with a wheelchair a cane user and a pram. This is the only door wheelchair users can board through. If you are able to not board here do NOT board here. This door is the one that has the ramp so also be aware of where the ramp is so you do not block it. These doors usually will not automatically open. If the bus driver sees you they may open it. Some have a button that can be pressed to open. Otherwise we have to go to the front entrance and ask the driver to open it. Please be aware of this and allow room for us. The last door doesn't usually have a ramp but prams(strollers) can almost always clear it. If you have a pram or need to board not on the main one for any reason, this is the entrance you should use. (excluding the wheelchair accessible one if you specifically need that one) Like the wheelchair entrance this will either have a button or you have ask the driver to open it. There is a cleared area for your prams or anything else you need space for. People who should use this prefer to take our spot for ease, generally there is a little more space, there is a ramp, and a ticket reader at the wheelchair area. If you are physically able board in back, park your stuff and walk up to pay and then go back to the back.

PSA to ableds

If the door has a wheelchair button do not open the door for us.

Do not try to press the button.

Deffently do not try and hold the door open for us.

If there is a working button you trying to help is only going to make things harder for us.

Most wheelchair users can operate manual doors on our own as well and depending on the door it still may be harder for us if you open it.

As always when you want to help a wheelchair user here are some points

Did they ask you for help?->help them if you can!

Do they look like they are struggling with something?->Ask them if they would like aid. Respect whatever answer they give you. If they say yes, they'd like help, listen to their instructions, then only help with what they said.

Did a wheelchair user simply pass you on the street?->leave them alone they are just trying to walk somewhere just like you are

Are you in a car and you see someone in a wheelchair?-> do not pull over to check on them, offer them a ride, etc. It's creepy as hell man

Does the person appear to be in a medical emergency?-> if they are responsive listen to whatever they say, if they aren't call the appropriate emergency number. Do NOT assume we are in a medical emergency by performing normal tasks even if they are medical. Wheelchair users have higher level of medical issues than gen pop.

Never touch someone's chair without their permission.

Don't press wheelchair buttons with your feet

Don't keep pressuring a wheelchair user if you don't like the answer they gave you

Most of us know how to fix our chairs and they are an extension of our bodies so don't be surprised if a wheelchair user doesn't want help fixing their chair. It is not the same as a flat tire on a car.

Never move someone's chair without their explicit permission. This applies weather or not the user is in the chair.

Wheelchair parking, seating, spots, etc. Are not your priority seating or parking. We need the extra space, the safe spot on the bus, etc. it is a matter of our saftey don't you dare prioritise your comfort/ease for our saftey.
