Hello Hello !!

✦ Happy New Year !

I am here to congratulate everyone and to thank you for another amazing year in here. I know I've been very inactive in the last months but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate this blog or that I will leave it any time soon.

This blog has been my main fuel for a good two years now (this year turning 3!) And I still love editing and creating. Unfortunately, many things happened in my personal life that pushed me to stop editing and to loose motivation, but this year my only purpose will be to recover that motivation! I want to keep creating edits and beautiful memories with all of you. To everyone who still follows me, thank you for believing in me, we'll see each other again soon, I promise.

DESCRIBE YOUR REQUEST: Please specify the type of edit you'll like: characters, aesthetic or color, size, etc. Be as specific as you can !! That will make my work way easier.

　

ONLY ONE REQUEST PER ASK: Please don't put two completely different requests in the same ask, keep it up to 1 so I can work properly on it.

　

ONLY REQUEST FROM MY SOURCES: I tried to be as clear as possible in my 'sources' section, so please don't request things from any other source because I'll delete them.

　

BE PATIENT: I'm a student, I have a life too! don't expect me to finish your request in a couple of days, editing is something I only do when I'm inspired because I don't want to feel burnout. Also you're getting this for free so like,,, yeah

CREDIT ME: I'm not a fan of people who repost my edits in other sites, but I don't mind as long as you give me the proper credits and link the original post !! Also, don't go over there claiming my edits as yours.

I'll make 4-9 icons depending on the request itself.

Default shape is square and size is 1200 x 1200, I'll go with that if you don't specify otherwise.

✦ Types of icons:

Simple: In-game CGs, renders, etc!

Matching icons: The way they'll be made will depend on your specifications AND/OR the resources I can find.

Sparkly icons!: This is more of a plus than a different category, just tell me "mAKE THEM SPARKLY" and I'll go ✨✨ because I love making them

— ✦ Wallpapers

I'll make 2-3 for simple wallpapers, and ONLY 1 for collage.

Default size is 1080 x 2340, I'll go with that if you don't specify otherwise.

Please specify if you want a desktop wallpaper, since I'm used to making phone wallpapers only.

✦ Types of wallpapers:

Simple: overlapped CGs that cover the background OR a render put in a simple background with lil' details (I'll normally make one and one from each unless you specify otherwise)

EXAMPLE

Collage: Basically a lot of images put together ♡ these are limited to 2 characters max.

I'll make 3 icons sticked with 3 headers that match the theme.

Default are Twitter layouts! If you want any other type (ex: Tumblr) please specify.

Layouts are my creative area, so please keep in mind that the way I make icons or headers may vary from post to post!

❝ › How to specify your request

CHARACTERS: tell me the characters you want the edit to have! Max number of characters allowed is 3. (the only exception comes when requesting an entire unit in enstars case or dorm in twst case). Max number for layouts and collage wallpapers remains in 2 characters, without exceptions.

　

COLORS: tell me any color/s you want and I'll base the edit on that/those color/s!

　

AESTHETICS: Do you want a specific aesthetic instead of just a plain color? Sure, tell me which and I'll try my best (ex: cottagecore, steampunk, etc!)

If I edit for other fandoms once in a while it'll be because I'm in the mood and completely self indulgent.

❝ › Disclaimers

The max amount of requests I'm aiming to take atm is 5. Every request turned in when requests are closed will be deleted.

I'm constantly updating my rules, so please return to check them every once in a while!

I'll only use official art for my edits. Don't request anything involving fanart because I won't accept it.

I have the right to delete/refuse any request for whatever reason If I feel like it.

I won't make icons from the 3D MVs for enstars. I'm really sorry but gacha literally hates me so I have very little MV costumes (｡•́︿•̀｡)

I experiment a lot when I edit, so if your request isn't specific enough I'll make whatever I feel with it (maybe try new techniques or choose the aesthetic myself).

I disappear every once in a while and then return as if nothing ever happened. mostly because of my motivation or for mental health issues, consider this when requesting!!

first off congrats on almost 500 followers!! thats incredible!

and second i hope this isn’t like an annoying question but how did you learn to edit? i’ve been wanting to start an editing blog of my own but i have no clue what i’m doing.

Tysm anon dear !! wahh, that's a tricky question to be honest TvT

Short story: practice, taking inspiration from other editors.

Long story:

I wouldn't say I "learned" because my edits are still very poor quality,,, it's been pure experience. but it's ok, I'll try to help !! under the cut because I tend to talk a loooot

So, I think the most important thing is to feel comfortable with what you make (sounds tough but to be honest, just go with whatever you think looks cool in the process!!) self indulgence is your fuel and most important weapon !! if you like what you make, what else do you need? that's why I encourage you to search for styles you like and trying to reproduce them in your own edits.

ALSO, don't be afraid to ask for tips, resources or tutorials to other editors. We're here to help you out too !! don't feel discouraged if your edits don't look professional first try. It's a huge process and finding your own "style" may take a while.

Go on and study other people's techniques and aesthetics, if you like how they use gradients and sparkles, use gradients and sparkles yourself too !! To actually learn how to do this, just play a lot with your editing app/program (I literally use IbisPaint, nothing to be ashamed of lol) explore its tools like a curious cat and don't be afraid of trying "weird" things.

BONUS: (I don't know how to shut up)

My personal technique is to use transparents of cards that I like, center them. Fill the background with colors, gradients and random overlays (overlays are the clue here, life saviors) and just,,, move things? mess up? until I think it looks good. Then I use my beloved polarr filters to save the day and I'M DONE !! Inspiration is the clue for this though, I'm not a very original person to be honest </3
