Ganondorf has absolutely no problem with this. One hand wraps around the Link while he sifts through the paperwork on his desk. He still has work to do, but the least he can do is comfort the little lad.

Perhaps it was the Power that threaded through his veins, a constant worrying at the back of his mind that he should strive for more, push for greater, or perhaps he simply wanted to push himself, make his control greater, his rule absolute.

At the very least, it would not be within his nature to rest.

Frustrated sigh hissed through his lips as he heaved himself upright off the throne. A hand automatically waved as a servant surged forward, hoping to address whatever concern might be troubling him, dismissed just as quickly with the gesture. "I go to ride. Alone."

Ah, yes. 2014 Tumblr. A time when Earthbound/Mother games and rpg horror games were trending. The Witch's House was an amazing rpg horror game, I've been so spoiled by it actually scaring me that the other big two made me feel so disappointed. (Loved Ib, found Mad Father meh). I played true Viola, because the true ending broke me so bad I need to write a Viola winning against Ellen. After I revamped her I followed closely to canon but kept it at Diary of Ellen canon ;v; I mostly stuck to mother and Ib community at the time. Phew...

Whether or not she agreed with the way Link had been trained, it seemed to have stuck. He was disciplined, at least in battle, and he'd been aiming for a real fight with her for some time, ever since she challenged him with training rods a year ago. She'd brought that on herself, she supposed.

In general, she wouldn't train with Hylians. It didn't seem sporting, given the reach, weight, and general strength she had on them, and that was even if she held back on her powers as she did with training with other Gerudo. If she allowed herself her ancestral abilities, no Hylian had a chance. But, if anyone had earned it, it was probably Link. Hell, maybe he'd teach her a thing or two.

She drew her sword, holding it out so he would knock his against it and begin the match.

"First to the ground loses, skin contact is permitted, if we see bone, the match stops and a tie is called." Fairly standard rules for an honor match.
