The feathers rooting their spine bristled, eyes flashing an aggressive red and ears pinned back against the side of their head. An armored folk, they have not treated the beast kindly from the way they born scars underneath their coat over the months. Still, they held no pure hostility to this being, only caution.

They couldn't tell what they but they know well enough that eyes red and bristling does not mean well.

Caution. That's what their understanding from the stranger. It takes a while for the Knight to move as they judged wither or not it was ok to move at all. They shrug their cloak to the side, making sure that their arm is able to be seen. Tilting their head up towards the stranger for a few moments before tilting it back as they nod to their arm. Raising it so that they could see they have nothing in their hand, no threat, as their cloak settles back around their side.

Mixture of both as the taller vessel stares at the younger. The last that they've seen them was without shell and their weapon drawn. There is a brief moment wondering if their sibling still has their Nail.

Hollow stays where they are, tilting their head a little watching. Soon they end up mirroring the action, a silent hello. They leave their hand raised to point at the youngers mask as their head stays tilted in confusion.

…No blade has been drawn. Nor was there any threatening display. All they could detect was, perhaps, uncertainty? Curiosity?

Pushing wariness aside, Ghost tentatively stepped closer to the taller sibling. They briefly tilted their head in thought, before raising a hand. Now that they've been attempting to communicate more, the vessel has found themself copying gestures bugs commonly use.

In a somewhat stiff motion, they… waved. Hello.

//: May of said it earlier but I'm pretty sure Hollow was having fun being at Godhome. They enjoy a good fight, their used to the gold being everywhere [ though wary due to the Radiance ], and theres almost a welcoming feel to all the fancies that reminds them of the Palace. They know that their being used, again, but this time their given the chance to fight in their prime. Heck, considering that they are dramatic in their fight, they might even be just a little happy that theres a audeince in the background as it means their not still some how stuck with the Radiance.

The older vessel had little hope of finding anyone that they would recongize. Many that they knew had either been taken by the Infection or perished from going against it. Perhaps more luck with finding their Ghosts but they doubt that as well. Hope may still linger but it has been drawn thin.

Eyeless gaze stares straight back down to their fello vessel. Their remaining hand resting near their Nail, unsure for those seconds wither or not they are encountering a Nosk. They would not put it past the creature to pull this trick again. To pull on the sliver of hope for their next meal.

Soon Hollow tilts their head towards the side. Quitely staring them down before kneeling against the ground. Wither they want a closer look or offering that their not going to attack, it could be either one. Pressing their hand against the ground to keep balance.

There are many individuals they hoped to see again. Friends, those they helped… Mostly to ensure the others' well-being. It would be unfortunate if after all their effort, something tragic still befell Hallownest's current citizens…

Such hopefulness had not extended to the knight currently in their path, merely because they assumed it was unlikely things turned out well for the other. So as soon as Ghost laid eyes on them, they froze.

…Their destiny had only permitted them to meet under violent circumstances. Even if they hadn't entered Godhome, a fight was inevitable in the waking world. The Radiance would not have had it any other way. Chances were, both of them should have been doomed.

Yet, now they're face to face with the one dubbed as either "The Hollow Knight" or "Pure Vessel." Their elder sibling, whom they had no expectation of seeing in this world again.

…Ghost stared. They weren't sure how to react. First, they'd wait and see what the other does.

Hearing that does have Hollow momentairly confused. Tilting their head up towards the umbrella their holding. It was a simple one, deep navy blue that makes one think of rainy days. Twirling the umbrella for a moment before looking back to Vivi as their eyes move up in mimicking a smile.

Tilting the umbrella to have the shade cover Vivi as well. Their holding it high enough that both could be under the shade.
