if riot aren't cowards they could give us a storyline that includes the OG star guardians as they look for lux / a way to save her from being statue-fied, focusing particularly on jinx and the lengths she would go to accomplish that, which would parallel the current storyline of xayah looking for rakan + the kai'sa/akali storyline of whether or not to give up on someone (it would also fit in with the event's general theme of losing and finding)

i did do some art last night though!
they are very rough ideas though, not sure if i'll keep them. i did do another of her actual sg outfit but wasn't vibing too much with it.
whenever she fights her lingering corruption shows, and it's usually violent. it's why she tends to work alone, for things can get out of hand. she often disguises herself as a student, though it does appear as general suspicious due to her more mature appearance.
she usually doesn't stay at valoran city for long, often enough just check in on the few she cares for and ensure another disaster wont strike. minor fights are often not her concern, and yes, she too often ignores the call from the first star (thankfully calls less since her corruption/redemption).

" i'd happily go kick their ass, but i don't think that would help you. " (from @spirithunts, maybe sg?)
@spirithunts ✧.*
𝐋𝐔𝐗𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐀 𝐏𝐇𝐘𝐒𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐇𝐑𝐈, all fists and curses, violence and yelling.
what hurts most is that ahri is right. she could go after sylas and she could attempt to fight the corrupted star, but that wouldn't make lux feel any better. it's not about ❝ kicking ass, ❞ but about purifying.
the younger guardian clenches fists, her expression a frown, eyes heavy with tears already blurring her vision.
❝ i know, ❞ she whispers, lowering her head, body trembling. ❝ you're right, as always. you don't even know how i envy you — for not having to deal with it. ❞
little does lux know about zoe, rakan and xayah — the turn of events will probably delay revealing the information.
...or will it not?

Strange question, but I’m curious: Hypothetical SG slice of life anime/show actual magical girl series. What champions do you think would make good magical girl villains of the week? If so why?
I think Vladimir would be a good fit, have him lure Star guardians to feed on their magic to stay alive, Jhin could be fun as both a straight villain and a red herring when there’s a new drama teacher and everyone assumes he’s the villain but he’s just a dramatic guy. Anyway, no pressure, I’m just curious.
In my opinion it highly depends on wich type of magical girl anime you take inspo into, i believe Star Guardian took a lot of Sailor Moon references for the first team and maaaaybe the second? And the next ones became more Madoka Magica kind of storyline. So it very much depends.
By taking Sailor Moon for inspiration, honestly all the champions (non star guardians) can become episodic villains. As 90's Sailor Moon just keep a small reduced group of champions for the 'this is the main villain', 'these could be redeemed' and the 'these are a lost cause'. A girl with anger issues and problems with her dad that turns into a terrific dragon cause her crush wont pick up the phone? Good. A little mummy/emo child that cries until he drowns everyone in his tears? Also good. Massive kraken lady causing distress around the school after a messy breakup? Also good. Use the champions like Nocturne or Bel'Veth be the main season villains that send stuff to mess up the students and make them become monsters that the Star Guardians have to save and purify to revert the spell. Once you think about it, it could be cool to see all the champions have their little villain spotlight.
As for a Madoka Magica type of storyline, i have to give an ''''''unpopular opinion'''''''. I dont like corrupted Star Guardian skins, wich doesnt mean that they arent pretty, or cool, i just mean that i dont really feel that ''corruption'' it shows on the name. Both Morgana and Zoe are sassy but...? Yeah once we know about Harp we can understand how Zoe got corrupted but it never looked like she cared that much...? She doesnt look hurt, neither does Morgana, they do feel like episodic villains because i see them so plain. Fiddlesticks is... well, better, really tackled on that 'I was once a magical girl and turned into a horrific mush of a witch' that Madoka Magica has, but again, i dont really see suffering, i see funny sticky leg Fiddlesticks tossing starlight around.
As for champions i would pick for this type of storyline someone sent an ask not so long ago about Pyke possibilities of being a corrupted guardian and also Sarah is there, as Madoka Magica likes to go deep into the characters emotions in this example we could see Pyke slowly fading into corruption as a cause of isolation, mistrust, abandonentment issues, etc, directly implying Sarah cause she was a part of the problem aswell and make it so that pain actually feels like a menace once corruption completely takes over. As for other champions, I believe Annie could be a good example of familiar issues/death of a loved one and childhood trauma like Nagisa was on Madoka Magica and make her small and seemingly defenseless but with a huge power that could set a star guardian on fire without hesitation. Kalista would be a good option with the grief, revenge and broken promises mix up making her an extremely aggresive enemy. There's actually a bunch to think of if you dig into their trauma.
