A couple months ago I was going through Adventure Pulp comic book art and found a piece that reminded me of a certain someone so I decided to make a parody piece/painting study off of it.

This was so much fun, the parts I changed were a bit tricky but I think they came out fine. I have one more picture I’d like to make a TF2 parody/art study with. I need to draw more Sniper.

Want to do more stuff Alien related with Medic, but Pyro is too perfect for this. :) Maybe someday I’ll make a full piece of art that has natural lighting and isn’t glowey everywhere.

WIP full of Medics. Got a page of doodles and a full piece on the way, OORAH. Second picture is brain barf stuff I did when I was struggling trying to draw him in the first pic, plus a doodle I did of him a few months ago where I was overcome by some strange power and drew him very nicely. I should probably do a character sheet of the mercs so they stop changing every time I draw them.

Is it obvious which TF2 merc is my favorite? Hm, it’s a mystery…..

I did it I finished the thing. Was inspired to make this after I kept seeing this dang Scout meme. I'm new to SFM and as far as I could tell there are not Expiration Date maps that I could've used for reference so I took some creative liberties with the rocks and stuff. Had so many dang shading layers that I'm worried I missed something lol.

Dipped from Tumblr for a bit because life stuff, but I’m back! Played Black Mesa and other Half Life games, needless to say Valve has consumed me. Love is stored in the (insert Half-Life creature).

These were part of a larger page of doodles but I didn’t like how some of them came out so I finished these and called it quits.

I came across the most beautiful werewolf art the other day. Gosh the designs were perfect. Not just slapping wolf heads on human bodies (weird thing to be picky about but I am) they looked more natural, somewhere legitimately between man and wolf and some even more bear like, it was so good. Sweet painterly style. Then I noticed some of the fingers were weird. “Wait, why does that one have a second jaw floating off it?” Took a look at the comments and the original page.

……..it was AI generated.

I was so genuinely pissed off to have been fooled for even a moment that I slapped on some angry music and made my own werewolf art.

Was inspired by sloth bears for some of the design and coloring as well (particularly the snarl and the blue tint of its fur!). Took the head from a doodle I did in a collaborative whiteboard with some friends a little while ago. Timelapse below if you like seeing that sort of thing (FLASH WARNING, I’m not sure how bad it is but I figure it’s worth the warning anyway). You can see me try something new, fail miserably then go back to my comfort zone lmao.

I BEG OF YOU, if you’re an artist of any kind, writing, drawing, whatever it is that people are trying to get AI to do for us, PLEASE don’t stop creating because “AI can do it better” IT CAN’T.

It can’t make what you can with the vision you have, nothing and no one can. I’ve already had to convince another artist not to stop creating because of AI.

DON’T STOP CREATING. PLEASE.

Art is so important, I don’t want to think about all the potential artists we may have lost already because of the rise of AI “art”.

Doodles yippee! Alien is my first love, my favorite movie, my sweet darling dearest film, and when I saw Scout’s Isolationist cosmetic I went insane. Knew I had to draw it. Making another piece with Alien Scout as well.

Also a lot of Spy hate, I’m sorry Spy lovers/players, I will draw him not being harassed some day but today is not that day. He gives me a lot of grief in-game. >:(

I got 2/3rds of the way through this a few weeks ago before finally cranking out the rest of it. Drew the last three mercs that I hadn’t yet fully drawn + suave Spy because I should draw him at least once without getting bullied (almost). I see more Demo pirate in my future.

Was scrolling through weapons on Pinterest when I found this.

My immediate thought was-

Wanted this to be a quick, silly doodle so the lineart and shading isn’t neat, but I got side-tracked and ended up spending hours reading on historical gun stuff. Learned three things making this:

1) I enjoy drawing weapons.

2) On May 30th, 1806 Andrew Jackson (pre-presidency) dueled a man named Charles Dickinson using a 1805 Harper’s Ferry Flintlock Pistol who accused him of cheating on a horse race bet and insulted his wife.

3) Spiders look silly with boots on (there was an attempt).

And now I sleep, goodnight all.
