*Stella floats out the door with Chargon following a stream of smoke trailing behind him. Conner watches them leave and then slowly slumps*

- ok SO . i genuinely think the one that would develop feelings would def be hunter . & prob has had a big ass crush on kevin for YEARS . & he’s a dumbass so he’ll continue to crush on him for as long as they know each other . once kevin meets emily & get together , hunter has to see kev be happy with someone else & suffer in silence but ofc wont do NOTHING about it . so Yeah , it prob would be unrequited :((( i’ve read some fics where kevin is doing the crushing over on hunter thing , which i also think is super cute & makes sense , but mans is way too busy being a dumbass too , hunter IS definitely the one in love with his best friend .

- hunter definitely uses he / they pronouns . & prob wears skirts bc they are comfy ( i have to draw that sometime 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♂️ ) im a metalhead so i kinda go ‘ would hunter wear this ‘ while im wearing a band shirt & a black maxi skirt with demonias & if i go ‘ yea ‘ i kinda imagine him wearing it JDJDJ specially bc ik adrian greensmith wears skirts too .

- I DO SEE kevin & emily being together for a good while ( & again , meanwhile hunter is suffering in silence watching his crush be with someone else , hunter loves emily ofc because she’s a badass & is also his friend , & if kevin is happy with her , hunter is ) & hunter prob dates some guys along the way ( ppl he meets at gigs or concerts etc )

- after rehab ( bc hunter Goes back for his anger management issues ok im forcing him back there ) , hunter is less aggressive & violent & doesnt hold a grudge on emily ( the old hunter would tho , & would be so damn jealous she gets to kiss kevin & he doesnt bruh ) & she prob does his makeup or paints his nails 🫶🫶

- kevin does enjoy playing d&d ok he has a face that says ‘ i make sick ass campaigns ‘ i just KNOW IT

- hunter bought them tickets for their first concert in middle school ( probably motörhead or slipknot ) & kevin had to sneak out to be able to go 😭😭 i do think all of hunter’s shirts come from concerts !!! & once kevin gets more into metal he even gives him some to wear ( ik his nasty ass has a whole closet filled with band shirts & they REEK )

- hunter tries to teach kevin to play guitar 🫶 it doesn’t go well kevin fucking sucks

What do you think about Tim in detective comics? Lots of people I follow think they are destroying his character turning him into a kind of fascist (?) but I haven't read any Tim-fan opinion about his characterization in the recents issues of TEC so I wanted to ask yours

Listen… If I said the current TEC run it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to Tim I’d be lying. Tynion is doing his best and you can see that he’s really happy about being able to write about one of his fave charas but there’s still a lot that’s missing.

I mean, of course this “new” Tim will have had different experiences since he never even met Conner and the rest of the gang and he most probably never went through half the shit he did before the n52 happened, but you can see that most of his personality traits are there - planning ahead of time, wanting to control everything, his nerdy humor. His origin story is mostly intact as well (bless!), which was one of my greatest pet peeves since the n52.

However, this last arc brought some new elements into the equation. Idk how much you’ve read of it, but the “fascist” comments probably come from the fact that a Tim Drake from the future got trapped with current!Tim somewhere between time and space and when they finally managed to escape, future!Tim decided to kill Kate so that his future would never happen - a future where Brother Eye gets developed and he’s able to control everything and everyone in Gotham very easily, using guns and murder to make everything even worse, a future where all his friends and family are either dead or just enemies. This is of course a reference to the Titans of Tomorrow arc, used here as a plot device to introduce yet another multiverse-based storyline revolving around Mr. Oz.

Now, during this week’s TEC issue (#969), Tim and Kate are talking and we find out that Tim is actually planning on becoming the next Batman while knowing full well what’s going to happen in the future, claiming that exactly because he knows what’s going to happen he should prepare himself for it, “shape my own future”. Again, it’s the old Tim we’re seeing here but he’s somewhat changed - he’s always said that he never wanted to be Batman, never wanted to become like Bruce, but maybe because he’s a bit older here (19 y/o and planning on going to college) and maybe because Tynion wanted to play with this, he’s actually considering the idea and preparing.

(In my honest opinion, I hope this thing ends soon because the last thing I want to see is Batman!Tim, this boy was NOT born for the job)

Tl;dr basically we’re getting our old Tim back but with a few tweaks here and there, which are not exactly bad but that still need a lot of work in the future.

*The Child stops growling and looks down*

*The hero’s mind races with the cries and screams of children he has heard and the horrors he witnessed throughout the multiverse… He looks down at the child again taking a knee to put him down but he holds on tight*

*He grips harder to the hero*

*His ears soon perk up as footsteps grace his eardrums. Eyes widen, he grows curious of the new presence. The Hero looks and his armored wings flutter happily in reaction*

*Turns to show the Chara he saved*

*The human-dinosaur woman kneels closer to the small child, slowly bringing a hand to his cheek. The Chara, despite being temperamental moments before, seemed more at ease in the presence of this new human. She exhibited features similar to his own; even being kinder than those from his real family. He shuts his eyes as he leans into her palm, slowly loosening his grip on Saver before climbs into Yoshi's arms. The sudden change in attitude surprised the couple, but it was a step in the right direction.*

*The hero stands and closes the book in his belt. He then pulls it out undoing the transformation*

*Yoshi proceeds to walk to a more secluded part of the orphanage, one where she specifically warned other Frisks and Charas not to wander unless given strict permission, and opens a door. The interior was that of a cozy little cottage; warm, simple and safe. However, there seemed to be odd creatures that resided within the walls of the building. They were reptilian in nature, yet looked nothing like any creature this Chara has seen before. The creatures came in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes, impressing the young boy greatly.*

*She proceeds to whistle over one of the creatures; a large blue dinosaur comes rushing over with an inviting grin. The the clearly Dino Yoshi comes up and licks the woman’s cheek.*

*Chuckles to herself, gently pushing the Dino Yoshi back*

*The Yoshi babbles a bit and licks Chara aswell*

I wish you would write a fic all about Conner’s grandma-esque traits tbh!

sdkjfsjdfjl Okay! Hold on! I've just spent the last few minutes laughing because damn yeah I should!

Honestly this fic would be set in some timeline where they don’t gotta be all hush hush about stuff so Tia is free to just walk around his apartment and comment on every single thing there.

Boy has a dish of the strawberry and creme werthers candies on the coffee table for guests, there’s one of mints in a kitchen drawer for the dining room table. Tia finds this amusing as he typically acts like he doesn’t like sweets.

He must have a sweater with him almost always because it could get colder. “Khakis when in the fuck do you think it will get cold in the desert during the day?!” Tia exclaims, three hours later it rains and she begrundingly takes the sweater once safely inside a building.

Oh how is Conner dry the entire time? Well he’s got a compact umbrella in his messenger bag. Wait Tia don’t just give the lady at the coffee shop the extra dollar Conner’s probably got the exact change just, hold on, its in there somewhere.

He suscribes to Fine Gardening (this is a real magazine yes) and yes his Rose hips and petunias are doing quite well thank you very much. His music collection is strictly records, you want him to use a multi cd player???? For Jazz nonetheless??? Blasphamy! The record player is one he bought at an estate sale of a reccently passed 80 year old man.

This fic would end with Tia buying him a cane and gifting it to him the one day he’s hunching over the most cause he’s a bit sick and didn’t have his morning coffee and quaker’s fruit and cream oatmeal.

Rude as hell Dove, but thankfully I got a few to pick from and I vote we talk about the Enache’s a little more.

🖊 For as neat and tidy Conner is he was far from that as a small child. He spent so much time in the garden and outdoors in general that he was always covered in dirt and his room full of things he found interesting. 

🖊 If Conner could have his way and the ability to stay in one single place he would have more plants. Many would be ones that he could use as spell components but a few that are just there for the looks and challenge, like orchids and small roses.

🖊 It should be cleared up that Conner doesn’t hate snakes but he is very distrustful of them. Too many of them jumped out at him when he was a kid and he views them the same way that many people view cats as always having an ulterior motive, so sorry Paps.

🖊 Conner was never meant to be an introvert, he was wired to be like his mom which is out there, looking for people, and just enjoying life. He was very much an extrovert growing up having many friends, girlfriends, and multiple things to do on the weekends the whole shebang. It was fear that reined it all in for him and then moving to a new country a whole new environment and it shut everything down. This does make his mom sad as she misses the boy he was and she worried about him being alone, thankfully he was partially saved via Luke.

🖊 Speaking of Luke, it was Luke that gave Conner....well the name Conner. Luke was assigned as the guy that was supposed to show the new kid around the school and neither were excited about it and in his not so happy state Luke made the distasteful joke of looking at Constantin as a name and said, “Yeah I’m not gonna say all that and neither is anyone else. I’m just gonna call you Conner. Cool? Cool.” Conner had known enough English to have told him off, but he didn’t want people to know he was foreign with his accent, since it wasn’t really common knowledge even among the teachers and staff.

🖊 Stasia, despite the aesthetics, isn’t a big wine drinker. She grew up when wine wasn’t what it was today and she never cared much for it. As time moved on she never got the chance to really appreciate the changes and improvements of the drink and once becoming mortal once more she was less then impressed as it “tasted the same as 500 years ago”. Now scotch and whiskey though, that’s some of the good stuff.

🖊 Despite her age Stasia was not at every big event in history, hell there are things she’s still learning about that happened around Europe and the rest of the world. She honestly hates when the few humans she works with ask her what it was like at xyz event and they press when she tells them that she wasn’t there for it. She’s one person and cannot be everywhere at once.

🖊 Despite the norm of wearing more color the higher up you were in society Stasia never went that route once in power, she always preferred the white and darker colors, with white dominating once she was the undead. It started off as a juxtaposition to what everyone thought of her, but turned into something that invoked fear as white was easier to see in the dark. She only wears more color now to help put people at ease given her CEO status and having to make “friends”.

🖊 Since becoming human again the one thing Stasia has loved the most was seeing the rapid changes of technology. The improvement and greater ease of life has been something to admire. She does have her preferences on which technology is better, like she does enjoy phones with a cradle and flip phones, but she accepts it all.

🖊 Stasia didn’t leave Europe until the 21st century. Travel was hard enough before that without the added frustration of only being able to travel at night or in constant darkness. Boats were fine but felt impractical with how long it took to get across the ocean. With the rise of steam engines Stasia found herself in the states by the mid 1920′s where she helped in expanding the small trading business she made in Europe.

Thank you for asking about my boy Kate!

3. Did they have a good childhood? What are fond memories they have of it? What’s a bad memory?

Conner had a wonderful childhood overall. He had his little garden, would play outside any chance he got, knew almost everyone in the village he lived in, and had a mother that loved him. Many of his fondest memories were of making the natural plants near their house grow and thrive, but his fondest is of talking to a passing American Jazz musician who played some songs on his trumpet and then sax. A bad memory came from when he was older and he became witness to the Strigoi killing a person from a town over while another was being drained of their life by a witch. It was a week after this that he set out to finding a way for him and his mom to get out of there. 

21. Do they have a temper? Are they patient? What are they like when they do lose their temper?

Conner is very patient, he can reason and keep it all at bay until he can find a way to deal with the feelings of anger. When he has a temper its very jarring as he tends to be that guy that shows more frustration than anger. He will get louder and try to make himself bigger and with the power that he has it can seep out and can cause a little havoc to the environment around him, for that to happen though it would have to be a big trigger. 

32. What do they dress like? What sorta shops do they buy clothes from? Do they wear the fashion that they like? What do they wear to sleep? Do they wear makeup? What’s their hair like?

Conner while with the Alchemists very much dresses in browns, khaki, white, and various other colors of tan business casual attire. He dresses like a stiff and Tia does a very good job of telling him that. Outside of that though....well he still has a very uptight look about him. He will wear button ups, polos, jeans, sweaters over the button ups, just very preppy without the pretentious attitude. He has clothing that’s really casual but its saved for when there’s work that needs to be done around the house. Typically he shops at department stores in their men’s department and tries to stay under $40 per piece of clothing, which he can do most of the time.

During his time with the Alchemists he doesn’t as he likes a little more color in his wardrobe but its not terrible, got to wear sweater vests a few times without anyone (other than Tia) question his decision. 

He did dislike his hair having to be stuck in place more and kept shorter than he was used to at first as it was more professional, but as he got more used to the place and saw what the other men had he let his hair grow out to the length that he liked and could style quickly and easily in the morning. The two gifs below are his hair as he likes it and more casual, unlike his hair in the Alchemists where it was more slicked down or back.

As for when he sleeps he sticks to underwear, pajama pants that are in a knit flannel soft material, and then a t shirt if the weather or situation calls for one. The situation mostly being when he stays with people he doesn’t know or feel very comfortable with.

45. How do other people see them? Is it similar to how they see themselves?

As a narc.

Not really but he can be seen as more uptight and not willing to try anything fun. Very much someone that you shouldn’t trust too much because he might just sell you out cause of the rules. Tia sees him as someone that’s just too scared to live but is probably one of the most fun people to be around. She trusts him and believes in him, in her eyes if they were characters in a story she’d be the villain and he the righteous hero.

None are how he sees himself. Conner doesn’t view himself in the brightest of lights. He’s someone that doesn’t know who he is anymore. He’ll be whoever you need him to be but never what he needs himself to be. He is both a good guy and a bad guy and never feels like he makes the right choice.

49. What is their most valued object? Are they sentimental? Is there something they have to take everywhere with them?

Conner isn’t always a sentimental person, when he keeps something it means a lot to him or someone very close to him. With that his most valuable objects are a family heirloom ring and jazz cd Tia found for him on the rare occasion he was allowed to take her out of the facility. The ring however is the one thing he can take everywhere easily, the cd saved by him having an apartment, is the family heirloom. It is imbued with a protection spell and something that helps in controlling his family’s power when emotions become to overwhelming. It has been passed down for centuries and Conner may have stolen it from his mom when Abe contacted him to pay his debt. She was going to pass it on to him but hey situations come up and he needed to steal it.
