Honestly one more thing I also want to praise Bang Bravern for is, as an anime, giving us a respectfully-designed Black character. You look at him and you know he's black, he has the dark skin and hair but also a rounder nose and pronounced lips that I tend to see going unacknowledged or poorly integrated in a lot of Black characters in anime - I'm basically used to seeing us vaguely (or blatantly) drawn as caricatures of ourselves. So seeing this guy onscreen (plus other black people in the same shot) and how amazing his design is gave me so much elation that I hadn't had since I saw HxH Canary.

Not only that but this man is positioned in a leadership role!! I see it in western shows but I've never seen this in an anime before, for any Black person who isn't Obama. Bang Bravern is swinging with the representation and as a Black person myself i could never be happier

Pillowfort is currently prohibiting AI art on its site!!

It may not be a clean stance against AI because who knows what goes on behind closed doors, but this is already a step up over tumblr which could make it a good alternative in case things go south. It's safe to say for now that they are against scraping as well, if they are also against AI art. Stay on the lookout for any privacy policy and TOS changes, but in the meantime, this may be the most ideal place for people moving away from the hellsite.
