first meetings - a communion of sunflower seeds and beet wine, a princess in her finery kneeling in your house of God, and you feel both jealous and stricken - then, to delicately alight a seed upon her tongue and become aware of your impurities, your treacherous heart.

It was Citrina's book that compelled Amethar to reveal his marriage to Catherine and the fact that it wasn't annulled. I'm never going to get over that.
So first of all, before I say anything else, I know how The Ravening War will end.
Well, I do not know it, but I consider Matt Mercer a coward and lacking storyteller if this is not how it ends... Anything can happen with the characters or arcs or relationships or anything, I do not give a fuck, but the last mission the FDA gives the scrumptious scoundrels will be the assassination of a princess of the house of Rocks.
We have already met a Rocks sister, Matt isn't afraid to touch them and play them. The FDA has already ordered one political assassination, explicitly told to be their whole deal - to toy with the politics and powers that hold in Calorum. To get whom they want to the throne and take out the necessary. This is a prequel to A Crown of Candy, and when the ravening war was mentioned during their time it was almost always in reference to either Amethar or one of his sisters. You tie in the thread. You close the loop. We already know how it ends from the beginning. You still pull the rug out from under us. You force Lou to kill his own sister (with a different and blood-thirsty character, but still in the mind of the one who grieved her for 20 years).
