Hi! I just realized I never said congrats on the update. So: congrats! The customization really knocked it out of the park. Never thought picking out a uniform would be so much fun. As someone who never had to wear one, I was wondering if you could please clarify the "flavors" of uniform New Kid can pick? Pristine/Adequate/Messy feel fairly self-explanatory, though Non-compliant and Trendy have thrown me off. I guess I'm under the impression everyone can only buy from the Official Uniform Store™

Pristine uniforms are not just neat, they are worn in total compliance with the dress code. (...Unless you're breaking gender-based rules like wearing the wrong tie 😆) You basically have the school's full dress code memorized. Vivian/Vincent's uniform is pristine too!
Adequate uniforms are perfectly passable. Nothing good or bad to say about them, one way or another! Jack falls in this category.
Messy uniforms are wrinkled, disheveled, even dirty at times. Kinda just thrown together. Pretty self-explanatory! Rupan/Rohan's uniform is messy!
Non-compliant uniforms are either worn incomplete or in blatant violation of the dress code. Disruptive or distracting accessories, casual clothes under school outerwear, the wrong color pants or undershirt — that sort of thing. Kile, Jessie, and Rain are non-compliant.
Trendy uniforms are often also non-compliant, but in ways that are popular among students at the moment. It changes a bit each season but usually involves trending accessories, designer brands, or slight modifications to how the uniform is worn. Popular characters like Heidi frequently set trends for the uniform. Examples: skirt-hiking, wearing the necktie instead of the cross tie, and the sudden increase in messenger bags after she switched to using one last year!
Aside from base clothing items like the dress shirt or pants, everything certainly does have to be purchased from the school's official catalog. A notable exception to this is Rain because they have access to the school's official fabric supplier and occasionally get bored enough to make themself custom uniform items.

Now a major thing I would do before an exam is open a candidate response, the qp, the ms and the examiner report.
Do each question, check with the markscheme, check the candidate response and assess where u are and then the examiner report.

Some sketches of my FNAF x Genshin AU !

First of all, here’s a quick thing representing Tartaglia, Hu Tao and Zhongli ! I already talked about Nutty, who’s Hu Tao FNAF Version, and I quickly talked about Zhongli counterpart, but not Tartaglia’s. In the Alternate Universe they are called Goldy The Dragon and… Hem, Childe.
I know I’m not original for Tarta’s FNAF name BUT HEAR ME OUT! I kept Tartaglia’s Harbinger title because in that AU, the playable Fatui Harbingers were animatronics from a different organization ("Fools Dell Arte Inc.") as the principal ("Heavenly Teyvat Cie."), so they had other names. When they were bought by HTCie, they changed names because the Company didn’t have the rights to keep their original names.
Anyway, the art is inspired by the famous song Soldier, Poet and King by the Oh Hellos.

…The Obselet Gang ! Aka the animatronics unused by the company, they are stocked in the underground stockage room, waiting to be put in pieces or being used as test subjects by the technicians. Therefore they can not have any contact with the public, and can’t leave their room until the night.
So we have Childe (The come back!), Scarlet the Xiezhi (=Yanfei), Tengu (=Sara) and Balladeer (=Wanderer/Scaramouche) !
I’m not really sure about them, I think I might had more characters to the Obselets, but those are the first ones :D

And last sketch, representing Scarlet and Balladeer. Scarlet was previously part of the security team of the Complex, her job was to teach the rules to the customers at the entry of the place. Until she was transferred to the Obselets because she kept defending the kids using loopholes in the terms of service/regulations of the company. She always critized the ‘unfair’ punishments parents gave, so they complained and then she was replaced by another animatronic, which led to her being thrown away. (That’s why Balladeer says she was thrown in a dumpster, metaphorically)
I absolutely know nothing about terms of service of restaurant, or about anything rules related stuff, so what she says might be weird. Don’t pay attention to that, you get the idea-

THE FRIDAY PIC is a suite of photos by Spencer Finch called “The Outer—from the Inner (Emily Dickinson's Bedroom, dusk).” It’s in his solo show at the Hill Art Foundation in New York, although it dates back to 2018 ... when I first saw it and yearned to own it.
I normally far prefer to see works of art in spaces custom-built for its appreciation— museums, galleries — where I can really go to “work” on them, and make them work for me. (Also, I spend so much time looking at art in such places that I really don’t need to extend the experience to my home, the way fancy chefs are likely to eat pasta with cheese for their family dinners.) But this series by Finch is so much about domestic space, and its contact with the wider world, that seeing it in my own home would seem to make all kinds of sense.
Here are some thoughts on Finch’s show at the Hill that I published in today’s New York Times (plus one other reason for my non-collecting policy):
As a critic, I don’t collect: There are too many chances for a conflict of interest. So I was thrilled that “Lux and Lumen,” Spencer Finch’s show at the Hill Art Foundation, let me get another look at the one recent work I’ve longed to own.
“The Outer — from the Inner (Emily Dickinson’s Bedroom, dusk),” is a suite of seven views through a window at Dickinson’s house in Amherst, Mass., photographed across the course of an hour. In the first shot, with the light barely fading outside, we see through to the garden; only hints of the room’s interior are reflected in the glass. The final shot, taken after sunset, shows the whole lamp-lit room in the reflection, with bare traces of the dark garden beyond peeking through. Finch uses a scientist’s rigor to capture the poet’s signature collapse of the domestic and natural worlds.
For “Candlelight (CIE 529/418),” Finch covers a window in pink and orange stained glass, color-balanced to turn the daylight outside into the warm, romantic light of times past, which then intrudes on the modernist gleam of the 21st-century gallery. The work’s scientific manipulation of light turns the clock back to a candlelit moment when science had nothing to do with our lighting.
“Painting Air” fills a large gallery with hanging sheets of tinted glass that, in theory, duplicate light effects from Claude Monet’s garden in Giverny, France. But Finch’s duplication, however precisely calculated, barely calls to mind either the real garden’s light or a painter’s impression of it. As always, Finch’s artful science works both to bring the world into our midst and to distance us from it.

hiya guys, kaycie here (now cie on site). remember when i said i would make a potato earning guide for my fellow non-custom owners/non-ks users? i promise i’m still working on it, and keeping up with DV (and this blog lol). various outrageous real life events hit me like a truck though and continue to do so more than ever in my life, so i’ve been put behind on activity. i have an outline for the guide but the reworking of quests might change things, so i’m waiting to see how that pans out too. (also i know at least one of you said you hoped daily quests weren’t going to be a part of it, but don’t worry (unless the updates REALLY suck), daily quests are only a piece of my agenda and i don’t do them constantly, but i still want to include my methods in the guide) anyway i hope you’re all still somehow enjoying this hellsite as much as i am!

Photometric Testing is an important step in ensuring the intensity and distribution uniformity of street lights. The luminance measurement is a commonly used testing instrument that can measure the photometric distribution of street lights and provide accurate data analysis. This article will discuss the methods and steps of using a luminance measurement for Photometric Testing, as well as some considerations. LISUN LSG-6000 Moving Detector Goniophotometer (Mirror Type C) was manufactured by LISUN completely meets LM-79-19, IES LM-80-08, COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION (EU) 2019/2015, CIE-121, CIE S025, SASO 2902, IS16106 and EN13032-1 clause 6.1.1.3 type 4 requirements. LSG-6000 is the latest upgraded product of LSG-5000 and LSG-3000 in compliance with the requirements of the LM-79-19 standard Clause 7.3.1, its an automatic light distribution intensity 3D curve testing system for measuring light. The darkroom can be designed according to the customer’s existing room size. LM-79 Moving Detector Goniophotometer (Mirror Type C)  I. Definition A luminance measurement is a photometer that can measure the spectral intensity of electromagnetic radiation. It analyzes the spectrum to obtain the distribution of light intensity at different wavelengths. The luminance measurement mainly consists of an optical system, a detector, and a signal processing system, and it has high accuracy and sensitivity. II. Working principle The working principle of a luminance measurement is based on the interference of light and the relationship between the voltage output of the detector and the light intensity. Specifically, when light enters the luminance measurement  through the optical system, it first passes through a dispersion element, such as a grating or diffraction element. This dispersion element disperses the light into its different wavelength components. Next, the dispersed light enters a slit and reaches the detector. The detector is usually a photodiode or photomultiplier tube, which converts light into an electrical signal. When light enters the detector, it generates a voltage signal that is proportional to the intensity of the light. The output signal of the detector is amplified and filtered, and then transmitted to the signal processing system for digitization and analysis. In the signal processing system, the luminance measurement  samples and records the light intensity at different wavelengths. In this way, we can obtain the distribution of the spectrum, which is the light intensity at different wavelengths. The luminance measurement  is usually equipped with a computer interface, which allows the measurement results to be transferred to a computer for further analysis and processing. III. Using a Type-C goniophotometer for road lighting testing is an efficient and accurate method. Here are the methods and steps 1. Preparation: Before conducting the road lighting testing, make sure the luminance measurement  is in normal working condition. Check the battery level and indicator lights of the goniophotometer to ensure its proper functioning. Also, prepare a measurement record sheet to record the test results. 2. Position selection: Choose thelocation of the street lights that need to be tested. It is recommended to select typical samples from the street lighting system to ensure the representativeness of the test results. 3. Check the condition of the fixtures: Before testing, ensure that the fixtures to be tested are in normal working condition. Check for any damages or impurities in the fixtures and make sure they are functioning properly. If any issues are found, they should be repaired or replaced before testing. 4. Measurement setup: Place the luminance measurement  in an appropriate position to measure the light distribution of the entire fixture. Select the appropriate measurement angle and distance according to the testing requirements. Depending on the testing requirements, you can choose to use manual or automatic mode for measurement. 5. Start the measurement: Press the measurement button on the goniophotometer to start the measurement. The goniophotometer will automatically collect data, including the intensity and distribution of light. During the measurement process, keep the goniophotometer stable to avoid measurement errors. 6. Record the test results: Record the measurement results of the goniophotometer in the measurement record sheet. Include the numerical values of the light intensity and the distribution chart. Also, other relevant information such as environmental temperature, humidity, etc., can be recorded. 7. Data analysis and comparison: Analyze and compare the measurement results. Use software tools for automatic data analysis, such as generating photometric curves, isocandela diagrams, etc. Depending on the testing requirements, compare the measurement results with standard values to evaluate the uniformity of the light intensity and distribution. IV. Considerations 1. Avoid light pollution: During road lighting testing, it is important to avoid light pollution. Enclose the testing area to prevent interference from external light sources. Additionally, use light filters on the goniophotometer to filter out interference from external light sources. 2. Select the measurement time: When choosing the measurement time, try to select a period with relatively stable lighting conditions. Avoid testing during periods of significant lighting changes, such as sunrise or sunset, to ensure the accuracy and comparability of the test results. 3. Multiple measurements and averaging: To improve the accuracy of the test results, it is recommended to perform multiple measurements and calculate the average value. This can help reduce measurement errors and uncertainties. 4. Proper use of the goniophotometer: When using the luminance measurement , it is important to follow the correct operation procedures. Read the operation instructionscarefully and follow them accordingly to avoid inaccuracies in the test results. Using a luminance measurement  for road lighting testing is an efficient and accurate method. By properly operating the goniophotometer, selecting appropriate measurement positions and settings, one can measure the light intensity and distribution of street lights to evaluate their uniformity and quality. During testing, it is important to avoid light pollution, select suitable measurement times, and perform multiple measurements and averaging to enhance the accuracy of the results. By conducting road lighting testing using a luminance measurement , one can effectively improve the design and maintenance quality of street lighting systems, ensuring traffic safety and the quality of life for citizens. V. Application range of Luminance Measurement  Luminance measurement is a commonly used optical instrument, widely used in optical engineering, light source measurement, lighting design, stage lighting, optoelectronic engineering and other fields. In optical engineering, Luminance measurement  can be used to measure optical parameters such as light intensity distribution, beam brightness, and beam diameter of light sources, and to evaluate and optimize the quality of light sources. In the field of light source measurement, Luminance measurement  can be used to measure various types of light sources, including bulbs, tubes, LEDs, etc., to evaluate their light distribution characteristics and perform optoelectronic performance testing. In lighting design, Luminance measurement  can help designers evaluate the brightness, uniformity, and beam control performance of different lighting schemes, thus selecting the most suitable lighting scheme. In the field of stage lighting, Luminance measurement  can be used to measure the brightness and beam distribution of stage lighting to ensure that the stage effects meet the design requirements. In optoelectronic engineering, TLuminance measurement  can be used to measure the optoelectronic characteristics of optoelectronic devices, including output optical power, luminous efficiency, and other parameters, to help optimize thedesign and production of optoelectronic devices. Mayer & Cie.’s Chinese subsidiary is relocating

Mayer & Cie. CN Changzhou LLC, the Chinese subsidiary of the German circular knitting and braiding machine manufacturer Mayer & Cie., settled in Jiangsu Province at the beginning of the year. Until now, the Sales & Service subsidiary Mayer & Cie. China, founded in 2003 and later to become Mayer & Cie. China, had been based in Shanghai.
The new location within a Sino-German Innovation Park comprises a production hall of around 5,000 square meters. In the future, the circular knitting machines assembled for the domestic market will increasingly consist of locally sourced parts and components from various suppliers. All suppliers have been qualified to comply with and implement the high Mayer & Cie. standards to make sure there will be no compromises in terms of quality. The project had been planned since 2018 but had to be postponed due to the entry ban following of the Corona pandemic.

The manufacturer is now saying goodbye to this “knitting head principle”. It made perfect sense for the start of the assembly line, says Benjamin Mayer, managing partner of Mayer & Cie. However, it leaves little room for flexibility. He explains: “In the future, we will source all parts and components of the machines assembled in China from various local suppliers. This allows us to offer our local customers more attractive prices and faster delivery times with the same quality standards. We expect this change to improve the positioning of our products in the domestic market.” In addition, the new plant will be connected to the parent company in Albstadt via an SAP connection. This was imperative to increase efficiency, transparency and quality.
With a size of around 5,000 square meters, the new location offers the necessary space to map the increased installation effort on site. In addition, the province of Jiangsu generally offers very good conditions for industrial companies, as both well-trained workers and a large number of potential suppliers are located there.
New Chinese base in the Sino-German-Innovation Park (SGIP) in Jintan
The new headquarters of Mayer & Cie. CN is the German Chinese Innovation Park in Jintan in Jiangsu Province. The companies based there enjoy various advantages, including attractive location costs as well as proximity and exchange with other German companies on site. In addition, the administration of the SGIP supports companies in their search for employees, suppliers and service providers.
“We are pleased that we have now been able to successfully implement the decision we made years ago,” says Benjamin Mayer. “We are confident that this step will bring us higher sales and revenue figures in the Chinese market.”
Delay due to entry ban
The project has been on the agenda since 2018, but its implementation was delayed for a long time due to the Chinese entry ban as a result of the Corona pandemic. Preparations for the move did not begin until June 2023, which will now be completed in the first quarter of 2024. Production will start in April, and the IT connection to the parent company is scheduled to begin in March and be completed by the end of the year.  The current location will be completely closed at the end of March 2024.
