what if i dropped my hypmic lgbt headcanons. i think that would be funny. you are allowed to disagree, for this is merely my opinion.

transmasc bros: i think all of the yamada brothers are transmasc. ichiro is bi (or he wouldn't label his sexuality), jiro is gay, saburo is a lesbian. come and fight me in the replies if you want. i personally do not understand people who headcanon jiro as cishet, but i digress.

mad trigger gay: they are all gay. sorry not sorry. samatoki trans guy for sure. jyuto he/they if you understand what i mean. rio i do not think about in terms of his gender. go buckwild i personally don’t care too much. he does very much have the “gay with too many lesbian sisters” vibe though. i don’t know why lol

lesbian posse: you already know how i feel about them. all of them are he/him autistic lesbians. petition to let them wear "lesbians against jakurai jinguji" shirts. ramuda was jakurai's lesbian weirdgirl. dice being a transmasc makes his mommy issues so much more interesting actually. gentaro is the widely known gender princess so.

matengay: they are also all gay. jakurai is nonbinary. he's a member of the "we're trans and otome has no idea" club. hifumi is gay; his host persona is really just a coping mechanism. you guys don't understand how much t4t dohifu means to me. they're both trans guys. doppo doesn’t think too much about it but he IDs as gay because of hifumi. (possibly jyuto too. point and laugh at the multishipper)

bisexual ass transmascs: i like how it still spells BAT while making sense. they are actually the most bisexual and transmasc division ever. kuko is nonbinary that’s why nemukuu works. jyushi is also nonbinary. hitoya just radiates trans guy energy. i also think it makes hitojaku more interesting because it adds a new layer of envy to hitoya.

transmasc hompo: i actually think this is the most transgender division. sasara is like gay ramuda. rosho i think is also transmasc and gay. rei is transhet in my mind and i think he's just better that way. founder of the "we're trans and otome has no idea" club.

chuoku: i think the general consensus of chuoku is that they are lesbians. this is like 90% true i think. they're all sapphic at the very least. nemu and ichijiku are trans and both members of the "we're trans and otome has no idea club". the reason the club exists is because otome is a terf. pretty much all of her philosophy lines up with terf ideology. i could explain but that would be for another post. nemu and ichiro qpr is so important to me. ichijiku and jakurai wlw/mlm hostility is also very real to me.

Btw is no one talking about this on tumblr but Verbal Justice has been out for a week ago and I was waiting for a post to scream about it but no one made a post and I couldn't stand not talking about Nemu, Ichijiku and Otome-sama.

Jokes aside the visual editing for this is crazy good, especially how she's both coated in shadows and the amber glow of the sun while rapping about her rise to power? What a Queen. Urgh. 🧎‍♀️🙏🌅🔥🔥✨

Admittedly Verbal Justice is not my fave melody line, the verses slap but the chorus is a bit slow with a haunting mantra-like repetition that can get grating unlike Femme Fatale. I understand it's intentional considering like saviour/path to God references though and it was fun though not something I'll slap onto a playlist I'll listen everyday unlike Magic Transistor or Hoodstars. Also Giga-P's never known for having a bad chorus so tough competition to beat there.

BUT YOU KNOW THE CRAZIEST THING ABOUT THIS.

THE SONG WRITER. THE LYRICS COMPOSER IS THE QUEEN OF J-HIPHOP HERSELF URASAKI AKIKO AKA AWICH. AND CHAKI ZULU IS ALSO ONE OF HER TOP PRODUCERS SHE WORKS WITH.

I'M SO DAMN IN LOVE AAAHHH

KING RECORDS ALWAYS PICK SUCH GOOD CHOICES FOR COMPOSERS, CREEPY NUTS, GIGA-P & REOL, TEDDYLOID, SHO KIRYUIN.

If only I can figure out how to access the other composers too. Invisible manners for example are tad hard to find in English but they do have a tumblr and twitter updates at least.

Queendom is an autobiographical song about Awich's life story here and it's well worth a watch, phenomenal storytelling and I adore it so much.

And so it's like doubly amazing they got the Queen herself to make lyrics for Otome who's in a similar position of climbing to power with her own smarts, resolve and words for a better world in her homeplace like Awich returning to Japan where she moves hearts with her voice too. But well, there are clear differences there storyline wise when Otome is set up to be one of the top villains/antagonists. Very understandable sentiment tho.

And speaking of origin stories, Awich did do a collab with some Oikinawan youths, SugLawd Familiar and CHICO CARLITO called Longiness Remix. comments say they're (I think SugLawd Familiar in particular) in high school? Seriously?? And it's a jam!

Coming back to Hypmic after a few years is so weird. Everywhere I look there’s something new and strange. Like omg Chuoku has a songs!! Oh wow all this new music!! Holy hell, I’ve missed so many arb events- Why does Sasara have a shark hat-

There’s so much new stuff, (like the anime has a season two, but idk if I want to put myself through that again). And yet somehow it’s like nothing has changed. Still no official manga translation, still barely any arb translations. The dedicated manga translators still struggling with cross language puns, rhymes, and wordplay.

Coming back to it and being able to witness everything again, makes me realize the first time through I took it too seriously. They’re just silly little guys doing silly little things, and that’s what makes it good. Like yea, the manga story is kinda messed up, but at the end of the day they’re just funky guys in a real funky world.

Time passed and yeah there’s new stuff, but they’re still just rapping and vibing. It’s like checking in on old friends, and smiling bc they're still as weird as you remembered. I love that.

-If you love some exotic food, bring it on! Nemu loves to learn new things and try them, and even if it's not something that unusual but just some meal she never cooked before, she would work hard to prepare it for you.

"Huh? Nemu, you're really bold today..!"

-Yet you're the only one to whom she's showing this silly side of her. Most of the time, especially during her work hours, Nemu is more cool and calculating, acting so serious..

-You absolutely love to stay overnight in her place just to see her getting ready to work. As soon as she changes into her uniform she starts looking so stunning, mesmerizing you with her fragile but stoic figure.

-Always looking in the mirror with such a stern face, fixing her service cap with her graceful hands.. Just to look at you and instantly get softer again, as she absolutely adores your sleepy face early in the morning.

"Mm? Are you still drowsy? You don't have work today, as I remember, so you can stay here and relax a little.." - she chuckled while putting on her gloves, watching as you yawn.

"Okay, director.." - you mumble, falling back in her soft, still a little bit warm bed and burying yourself under blankets.

-I think that all women who work in Party of Words live in Chuoku, and Nemu also has apartments here. But she can't bring you here for too long as the rules state that only worker's spouses can live on a permanent basis inside too.

-So she would start thinking about finally marrying you. Of course Nemu already dreamed about turning you from her girlfriend to her wife, yet now she will approach this matter more seriously.

-Probably will consult with Ichijiku, as these two are closer in work. Poor Nemu just wanted to ask if there were any altars in Chuoku and when it would be better to have a wedding, so it wouldn't disturb her working schedule just to receive a whole list of things with a bunch of tips and recommendations on the top from the Deputy Prime Minister.

-Ichijiku definitely sees her as her younger sister or something, I swear. So she wants you two to have the greatest party in the whole world, even if you two originally planned just to have some quiet wedding.

-"You look absolutely stunning in this dress, Nemu.. More like a goddess than a bride." - you mumble under your breath, standing with her under the altar, holding hands together.

You spend so much time making all these decorations with balloons, bows, and ribbons.. But honestly during all events all you see is your beautiful darling in her mesmerizing, charming wedding dress. - "It feels like I'm in a dream.."

"This is the fifth or sixth time you have told me this, s/o.." - her small giggle tickles the depth of your soul, as even this familiar sweet voice sounded more lively and beautiful today for you. - "You also look so entrancing, my dear.
