The only Gen 2 legendaries are Nevermore, HOPE, Astralaria, and Chuka & Champawat. The next batch were Gen 3 and Aurene weapons are Gen 4. You can't change my mind.

Nevermore will probably be my final gen 2 legendary if not my final legendary overall and if not you can feel free to beat me to death with rocks. For Astralaria I did the collections first because I heard so much about how they were the most difficult and unenjoyable portion of its crafting, and I wanted to get that over with, but not only did that end up being my personal favorite part of the journey by leagues, it also led to a kind of dragging anticlimax when I finally accomplished this really involved legendary crafting series of trials… and then had to continue onwards through additional probably dozens of hours of gold farm just to be able to actually reap the benefits of that. The sunk cost also made me slightly nuts, like You’ve already put 200 gold into this thing so now you HAVE to finish it. Tricking myself into chilling out about Nevermore by just saving up gold and materials firsthand and not allowing myself to directly buy any of its components or collection books so I don’t feel locked in yet. I’m about 500 gold in raw curency and materials. Still a long way to go. But at least this will likely be the last one I make that’s this laborious. The only other ones from gen 2-ish I’d even be interested in are Binding of Ipos (I don’t use focus) and Shooshadoo (I don’t use shield). And Xiuquatl (I don’t use scepter).... And Chuka and Champawat (I don’t use shortbow)……… OK just to remind you if I ever start making another gen 2 legendary you HAVE to kill me with rocks.

4. Do you have a favourite playable race?

Lore wise? Norn!!! I fucking love norn lore and norn content. They're so cool and also so sexy. For actually making and playing, it's a tossup between humans and sylvari. I love how versatile both can be in terms of looks and personal lore and I like their run cycles a lot

8. Do you have any items you keep in your characters’ inventory for purely sentimental reasons?

Io keeps all her old weapons and gear on her at all times. Wrelia keeps a lot of useless junk that I just think is cool or was hard to get. I still have most the stuff from chuka&champawat on various characters. Yeah, I keep a lot of items for lore reasons and sentimental reasons. It's a little bit of a problem lmao

15. Favourite antagonist?

oughhhh Mordremoth had fantastic potential and I really love them as a villain in the way I've built them in my own head. The idea of a dragon that can get directly into your head, especially if you're playing a sylvari like I was my first few runs of HoT. The stakes of that first expac are so damn high and it feels so personal and I loooove thinking about what more they could have done if they had more time for HoT. Mordremoth is just So Cool! Being the whole jungle and everything. I really love Mordremoth

7 - What is the biggest or most arduous project you have completed in the game?

hm, good question. a long time ago, it was map completion (done during the time where wvw was required, too!), and then working on Bolt took me, without exaggeration, several years. I was a little too casual a player to farm resources well, and when I did I got burnt out easily.

the legendary grind has gotten a lot easier, but Chuka and Champawat was also pretty high up there as far as time and effort go!

honestly, as far as "arduous" goes, I'd say trying to command a group of 30+ strangers, without discord, in EBG team fights while trying to take SMC might be the most. I didn't exactly nail it, but it was fun while it lasted.

16 - Favourite creature?

murellows have always held a special place in my heart! from HoT, vineteeth (while their lore is horrifying) have fantastic designs; likewise mordrem wolves kinda rule. and i love pocket raptor swarms even if theyre the bane of everyone except reapers and druids. sand jackals have sweet lore and are very cute, too!

I have near-zero mental energy for screenshots and gifs right now, so the logical thing to do is to finally do the Chuka & Champawat collection!

That way Aurelia can have her (more or less) canonical shortbow and all the other OCs can have their pick of tiger pet backpack :3 (and I can get a bit of dopamine)

We’ve caught glimpses of what we think is a norn woman at various points around the jungle, slaughtering dragon minions with impunity. How did she get her glittering array of armor and weapons - salvage, tengu, Exalted? No one knows, but everyone who’s seen her has this feeling that she’s been here far, far longer than any of us.

Reports conflict, but we can all agree that she never speaks. Only roars, like the ambush of tigers surrounding her.
