So here's a FUN little thought I just had:

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but for all of the terms we've heard thrown around Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss like 'demon', 'angel', 'sinner', 'imp', etc. both in-show and behind-the-scenes, we have yet to hear the term 'Devil' used to describe anyone.

The imps, hellhounds, succubi and other natives of Hell are 'demons', the human souls consigned to Hell are 'sinners' and the rulers of Hell are referred to as the Kings/Embodiments of the Seven Deadly Sins, including Lucifer himself. Also notable is the fact the other popular recipient of the 'Devil' title; Satan, is simply one of the other six Sins subservient to Lucifer.

Really, it would seem like Lucifer would be the most obvious figure to hold this title, but again I'm fairly certain we've yet to actually hear Lucifer being referred to as a/the 'Devil'.

Furthermore, it seems that Lucifer's design leans much more heavily into the idea of a 'Fallen Angel' rather anything we'd generally think of as being 'devilish', what with how he clearly still has his angelic wings.

So that got me thinking.

What if the title of true 'Devil' of Hazbin's Hell isn't given to Lucifer...

...but to CHARLIE?

Ok, so I have this headcanon why the cannibals in cannibal-town are so nice and not like the rest of hell. Since the Sinners can only permanently die to angelic steel and would otherwise simply reappear after some time, I think the cannibals just eat each other. Like, they have a well structured system (that Rosie probably suggested or enforced) where some of the cannibals are "killed" and then eaten by the rest of them. And once they are all eaten up it's the turn of the next group. They are not very violent because they have a good system. That would also explain why they were immediately on board when Alastor said that they can eat angels because they'd get to eat something else than cannibal flesh
