Wolfman - not too many details revealed but it's a new take on the werewolf tale

Arcadian - Nicolas Cage comes back to save the day - and his children - from ferocious creatures at their remote farmhouse.
All My Friends Are Dead - College friends? Remote Airbnb? A secret murderer? What could go wrong in this classic toxic friend group killing spree? Looking forward to attending the biggest music fest of the year, this group of friends get together for what should be a killer weekend.
Monolith - It is about a disgraced journalist who investigates a conspiracy theory while trying to salvage her career.
some movies coming out maybe not this year but have been floating around: The Toxic Avenger (I think remake), Witchboard (remake), Year 2 (about werewolves), Shelby Oaks (A woman's desperate search for her long-lost sister falls into obsession upon realizing that the imaginary demon from their childhood may have been real), Salem's Lot (remake), Little Bites ('70s-set monster movie that highlights the lengths a parent will go to protect a child), The Crow (Reboot), Jordan Peele's untitled movie, I've also seen there's going to be another Saw (but it hasn't been confirmed), and another Scream (but that production is already a trainwreck so who knows)

Firmly back on my bullshit this Monday, adding my name to a mugshot board in pursuit of the perfect rom-com book cover. Turns out kerning is everything when you're trying to make things look like they came from a police department. Also the xach effect in GIMP might be one of the greatest things ever to happen to lettering. Finally, I think, I'm kind of excited about this book, instead of just plain terrified, although it helps that I have a character handy to toss in the courtroom scenes at the end. I don't know if it's tacky to have your own characters do cameos in different books, but if I'm in as much trouble as these two then I want Cecilia Reyes from The Last Single Man in Texas as my lawyer.

More images from the long-term project on South Texas High School Mariachi teams that I documented with @nytmag writer Cecilia Ballí @ceciliaballi And to answer everyone’s question - Yes, tons of video and audio was recorded as well. Stay tuned. We spent time with the students and coaches of the top three programs in Starr County, TX. We were able to watch and document everything that these student musicians/instrumentalists/singers went through as they prepared for an intense championship. A positive border story in these radically polarized times - Mariachi music along the border goes hand in hand with Friday night football. Band members wear letterman jackets as well. Mariachi music in the school system is an amazing amalgam of Americana and Mexican traditions along the border. A special thanks to David Carthas at the New York Times Magazine for his editorial stewardship and the vote of confidence. #mariachi #music #rgv #reportage #onassignment #lagrullahighschool #romahighschool #riograndecityhighschool https://www.instagram.com/p/CkvvipGuEHi/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

APPLICATION
antonia thomas & she/her / cis woman ⸻ i saw cecilia caldwell coming through the trees. the thirty-eight year old was fleeing from waco, texas when they came across novac, and have sought salvation within the motel of purgatory. ceceila has been in town for one month and has been assigned as a bartender to keep society running smoothly. no matter what, they will find something to fight for.
STATS
full name: cecelia caldwell
age: thirty-eight
gender / pronouns: ciswoman, she/her
orientation: lesbian
occupation in novac: bartender
occupation before outbreak: unemployed (b/c cult leader father)
family: “father isaac” caldwell (father, deceased), calliope caldwell (birth mother, deceased), magnolia caldwell (adoptive mother, deceased), samuel caldwell (brother, presumed deceased), piper caldwell (sister, alive), many half-siblings (deceased)
faceclaim: wakeema hollis
parallels: nani pelekai (lilo & stitch), nynaeve al’meara (wheel of time), mamá imelda (coco)
BACKGROUND
tw: cults, blasphemy, polygamy, allusions to violence
When Cecelia is born, Father Isaac is not yet Father Isaac— to her he’s merely a father. Forever an enigma and always untouchable, but still her father, nonetheless. Never her dad, though. That much was always clear.
Why doesn’t God ever answer me? Cecelia asks her mother curiously after their nightly familial prayer sessions. Father never attends these, for his conversations with God were important enough to warrant solo prayer sessions. You have to keep praying, my dear. Only your father is worthy of hearing his responses directly. You must keep believing.
Eventually, Cecelia grows weary with believing. When her mother dies unexpectedly, she stops believing altogether. It is then Cecelia dares to be a nonbeliever.
She’s raised by one of her father’s other wives— for several wives had entered the equation by this point. Piper’s mother treats Cecilia no differently, and in return— Cecelia loves her younger half-siblings Piper and Samuel just the same.  They are the siblings she sees as her blood most of all— despite having more half siblings then she’d ever be able to remember.
Precocious and skeptical from a young age, Cecilia goes through the motions required of her as a young Caldwell daughter, not wanting them to gain any inkling that she no longer subscribed to the ideologies required of her. While Cecilia feared no individual man, she feared what it would mean for her to be on the outside world all on her own. Her entire world had been the commune— what did a girl of her age know about survival, and during the ends of times, no less?
The virus is a punishment for the amassment of nonbelievers is what Cecelia’s father always tells them. She eventually discovers on her own, after secretly going through her father’s correspondences, that its actually the result of a fungus. She does her best to convince her siblings of this, but Piper is too preoccupied being in her father’s shadow— while Samuel trails along behind him jealously.
She would escape one day, and she’d take them with her. As time passes, her belief in her own departure begins to dwindle. Once she reaches her thirties, she’s unsure if she’ll ever be able to escape at all. Perhaps this was all this current life had to offer her. She knows Piper would never leave on her own— and she knows she could never leave without her.
Cecilia alone know the truth of the massacre— that it’s all Samuel’s doing, and out of some bizarre jealously aimed at Father Isaac. She can’t bring herself to hate him for it. Not when it unexpectedly results in her freedom. A selfish reasoning, considering the loss of her entire family— but god it feels good to be free…
She lies to Piper, unsure of what the truth would do to her present state of mind. She’s able to escape with only Piper in the end, with the two of them eventually stumbling across the town of Novac. Cecilia feels as if she’s stumbled across her own personal heaven, but she fears getting too attached— as if it would suddenly all be ripped from under her. It was difficult to accept that Father Isaac isn’t still waiting for them in the shadows.
WANTED CONNECTIONS
Customers. Cecelia is a bartender, so if your character has ever hung out at the bar (within the last month), then its likely you’ll recognize Cecelia. What she lacks in charm and friendliness, she makes up for with a damn good drink. Maybe your character finds her personality endearing— maybe it rubs them the wrong way. All up to you!
Curiosities. Cecelia grew up in a cult, so it would be interesting if people were curious about her life before Novac. With this in mind, Cecelia is dually interested about other people, and what it’s like to grow up outside of the cult.  Depending on who/what about, she’d probably be pretty closed off about any inquiries about her background, but there are moments that could warrant opening up.
Frenemies
A crush? (she’d be your resident tsundere)

A Texas mom was arrested for deliberately striking an off-duty deputy with her car after telling him she was late for work, authorities said.
Susan Navarette Rodriguez, 32, hit Michael Hernandez outside a charter school in San Antonio on Tuesday, August 30, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit.
Hernandez, a deputy with Zavala County Sheriff's Office, was working a second job directing traffic outside IDEA Walzem charter school in San Antonio.
He ordered Rodriguez to stop her vehicle after she intentionally disregarded traffic safety.
Hernandez went to her car and told her to get back in the school drop-off line, the affidavit said.
He informed her that she was not allowed to drive down the path she was on because of heavy footfall from students.
"I don't have time for this, I am late for work," Rodriguez said to him.
Newsweek subscription offers >
The mom is accused of then turning her vehicle toward Hernandez and accelerating until she struck him.
The affidavit said body-camera footage captured Rodriguez admitting that she had hit Hernandez.
She said she heard the impact when her vehicle collided with the off-duty deputy, but didn't stop and carried on to drop off her child at the school.
Witnesses say she drove to the back of her school to drop off her child, KSAT reported. The station said that Hernandez chased after her and detained her before alerting Bexar County Sheriff's Office.
Online records from the sheriff's office show an arrest warrant was issued for Rodriguez on Thursday, after the body-camera footage was reviewed.
She was booked into Bexar County Jail on charges of failure to stop and render aid and aggravated assault against a public servant, according to online records.
Rodriguez was released Sunday after her bond was set at $25,000.
Her reason for refusing to stop because she was in a rush to get to work prompted a reaction on social media.
"Her job is that important that she almost ran over a cop? I doubt her job will feel the same way," Christian Garza wrote on Facebook.
Cecilia Guerra commented: "Well. She won't have to worry about being late anymore. Talk about stupid choices."
Cyndee MacIntosh wrote that Rodriguez was probably stressed.
"The good news is the cop is fine. He was able to chase her down. This mom was probably stressed out and running late. She didn't want to jeopardize her job. Maybe she snapped," MacIntosh commented.
Newsweek has contact Bexar County Sheriff's Office and Zavala County Sheriff's Office for additional comment. Rodriguez could not be reached for comment.

Linda Goler Blount, president and CEO of the Black Women’s Health Imperative, says she grew up with the ability to make choices about her body because her mother’s generation fought for the right to abortion care.
She laments the same won’t be true for the Black children who will mature into womanhood without that access and worries about the effects that looming abortion restrictions across the country will have on them.
“The state is telling them that they’re not valuable, that they can’t be trusted to make the best health care decisions for themselves, that they’re not worthy of being able to make these choices,” Blount said.
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled last week to overturn Roe v. Wade, eliminating the constitutional protection for abortion and allowing states to set their own laws regarding the medical procedure. Last year, Texas passed a “trigger law” that would go into effect if Roe were repealed and make it illegal for patients to get an abortion with few exceptions. The trigger law is set to go into effect in about two months.
Lawmakers and reproductive rights advocates like Blount say Texas’ abortion ban will disproportionately affect women of color, particularly Black women, who already face higher risks of health complications or death related to pregnancy or childbirth. Taking away the right to abortion care will likely lead to an even higher risk of health complications and mortality, higher teen pregnancy rates and increased financial burdens.
State Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Dallas, said the justices and lawmakers who supported last week’s ruling have the privilege of wealth and class that will make it unlikely they’ll ever have to feel the effect of these laws — but Black women will.
Black women face greater health risks
In addition to Texas, 25 other states are certain or likely to ban abortion now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned, according to the Guttmacher Institute. Blount said it won’t be long in the coming weeks and months before the U.S. begins to see the long-term effects of those bans on Black women.
Black women in the U.S. are more likely to die from pregnancy or childbirth than women in any other race group, according to a 2018 report from the National Partnership for Women and Families. Black women are three to four times more likely to experience a pregnancy-related death than white women, and the risk spans income and education levels.
Black women are also more likely than other racial groups to experience maternal health complications throughout the course of their pregnancies. And hospitals that predominantly serve Black communities provide lower-quality maternal care, performing worse than others on 12 out of 15 birth outcomes, including elective deliveries, nonelective cesarean births and maternal mortality, according to the report. About 75% of Black women give birth at hospitals that predominantly serve Black patients.
There’s a variety of reasons why these statistics are higher for Black women, Blount said. Black women often lack access to proper prenatal care. If you’re Black with low income and living in rural areas, you just don’t have the access, she said.
In addition, Black women in the U.S. are more likely than their white counterparts to be obese, which can increase the risk of gestational diabetes, hypertension, preeclampsia and other pregnancy complications, Blount said. Weight gained and kept after giving birth, along with limited leisure-time physical activity, may especially contribute to obesity among Black women, according to the National Library of Medicine. Black women also appear to be particularly susceptible to cultural, psychosocial and environmental factors that can promote weight gain.
Because of high chronic stress and race-based trauma and fear, the majority of Black women produce about 15% more cortisol, a stress hormone, than white women, which in turn raises the risk of pregnancy complications, according to the National Library of Medicine.
“And so literally, the combination of poor health, lack of income, lack of access and the stress of being Black in this country causes premature mortality,” Blount said.
And when Black women are ready to deliver, they are often devalued and dismissed in medical rooms during and after the delivery, Blount said.
Blount mentioned the experience tennis star Serena Williams had shortly after the birth of her daughter, Alexis Olympia. Williams said in a 2018 interview with Vogue that she had extreme shortness of breath after her daughter’s cesarean birth and was concerned because of her history of pulmonary embolisms, a condition in which one or more arteries in the lungs become blocked by a blood clot. She told a nurse that she needed a CT scan and IV heparin right away, but her requests were dismissed because the nurse thought her medications were making her confused.
As access to abortion becomes more limited across the country, Blount said she anticipates Black maternal mortality rates to increase by 30% or more and Black poverty rates to increase by up to 20%. As mortality rates increase, so will rates of morbidity, or suffering caused by a disease or medical condition, she said. Many Black women will be left permanently disabled or sick long enough that they will lose their jobs, which will make caring for their families much more difficult. Black women are often the sole breadwinners in their household, but they also help take care of broader family and community networks. When a Black woman becomes sick or unable to work, it causes a ripple effect through their community, Blount said.
All these factors contribute to Black women being the largest demographic of abortion-seekers in the U.S., Blount said. Black women account for 38.4% of abortion patients, the largest share among other racial and ethnic groups, according to 2019 data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That year, white women had the lowest abortion rate (6.6 abortions per 1,000 women), and Black women had the highest (23.8 abortions per 1,000 women).
In Texas, 18 out of every 1,000 Black women of child-bearing age received abortions in 2019. Black Texans have consistently had the highest rates of abortion in the last decade compared with other groups, with rates five to six times those of white Texans and double those of Hispanic Texans. Black Texans make up about 12% of the population.
For Crockett, a Democrat lawmaker from Dallas who last year voted against the state’s law barring abortions after about six weeks into pregnancy, bans on the procedure are personal. As a Black woman of childbearing age herself, she worries about the scary reality of not having safe, legal abortion access.
However, Crockett said if she were to have an unplanned pregnancy, she could afford to travel out of the state to seek an abortion if she needed. The same won’t be true for so many socio-economically disadvantaged people of color in her district, she said.
She expects to see Black teen pregnancy and Black mortality rates skyrocket as women seek out illegal abortion access. If there are women willing to risk their lives for cosmetic surgeries like Brazilian butt lifts, Crockett said, other women will certainly be willing to take the risk of getting an illegal abortion for more significant issues like unwanted pregnancies.
Black maternal mental health and financial burden
Kay Matthews, founder of Shades of Blue Project, said the abortion ban will also negatively impact Black maternal mental health. Her organization focuses on mitigating the mental health issues Black women face, and she has already seen an increase in demand since Senate Bill 8, which banned abortion after about six weeks of pregnancy.
“We are seeing the impact in a huge, huge way,” Matthews, 43, said. “We’re seeing this blanket effect of what’s already been happening.”
Almost 40% of Black people who give birth experience maternal mental health conditions, according to a 2021 report from the Maternal Mental Health Leadership Alliance. Compared to white women, Black women are twice as likely to experience maternal mental health conditions but half as likely to receive treatment for them. Such conditions include depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar illness, substance use disorders and postpartum psychosis in rare cases, according to the report.
Matthews said she doesn’t think lawmakers have considered the long-term effects of forcing people to keep pregnancies that they don’t want. It’s “mentally debilitating” to have to keep a child that you felt you weren’t ready or prepared for, she said.
These days, life is expensive even for a single adult, Matthews said. Adding another person to take care of makes it so much more expensive, especially when the U.S. is facing a diaper and baby formula shortage. She said many people think it’s easy to combat those shortages, particularly the formula shortage, by simply breastfeeding. But that doesn’t account for women who aren’t able to produce breast milk or who have past trauma associated with their breasts, which is frequent among Black women.
“It seems like everything is falling apart and just our basic rights to make our own decisions about our bodies are now being taken away from us,” Matthews said. “It’s hard, and folks are struggling.”
Even those who aren’t pregnant and may not become pregnant soon are still being mentally taxed. Just the thought of “what if it does happen” is causing panic for many women, especially Black women, Matthews said. That can cause both a physical and mental toll.
For Black women, Blount said the underlying messaging of the Supreme Court’s opinion and the looming abortion bans across half of the country is that their bodies aren’t valuable and that they can’t make decisions about their health care by themselves. This alone, she said, will undoubtedly cause long-term trauma among young Black girls as they become adults.
“I’m really concerned about this repeated trauma from this incessant messaging that young girls in Texas and other southern states are going to get over and over and over again,” Blount said. “So in 15 [or] 20 years when they’re adults and out in the workforce, what is this going to mean for them and their emotional well-being?”
As it is for Black women, stress and panic are facts of life, Matthews said. Black women have learned to push through and persist against countless barriers. This is another thing they will have to overcome. For now, the only thing they can do is collectively band together and share resources for support, she said.
What advocates and politicians can do
Abortion experts and advocates say Texas and other states outright banning abortion should increase education and resources relating to pregnancy and childbirth to prepare people for the reality of forced childbirth. But some have very little hope the state will do so.
Instead, Matthews said she believes help will come from community leaders and organizers who work to share information and resources with the Black community.
Blount said organizations like hers will need to come together to fund abortion funds and find resources to help Black women. Her organization is currently working on plans to make abortion medication and Plan B readily and safely available to Black women in the south.
She said state lawmakers should make birth control and Plan B widely and easily available. Plus, they should expand Medicaid and provide better prenatal health care for Black women, and medical providers should listen to and trust feedback from Black women when following up on any health complications.
“There are steps that can be taken to reduce maternal mortality rates, but they start with valuing the very lives of these people who are giving birth,” Blount said.
But one of the biggest things that not just Black women need to be focused on is voting, Blount said. The next election cycle will be highly focused on reproductive justice, and people who want to reinstate bodily autonomy must show up to the polls.
Crockett said she personally wants to ensure that pro-abortion organizations trying to assist abortion-seekers have the funds they need to do so. Plus, she hopes to see other Texas Democrat lawmakers expand resources for Black women.
“It is incumbent upon every elected official who gives a damn to at least make sure that they start going and meeting women where they are and making sure that if there are resources available, that we are educating them on what their options are and what those resources look like,” Crockett said.
Historically, that hasn’t happened, she said, and she has “no faith” that anything will be done on the state level to assist abortion-seekers.
“What can Texas do? A lot,” Crockett said. “What will Texas do? Nothing.”

—Jorge Luis Borges, "La rosa profunda" (1975).

Chapter 3
Tumblr media
Lewis Pepper's pov
I look at the window of the car as I witness the town of Edinburgh, Scotland. For context here: a man by the name of Detective Cecilia Hansley, a divorced wife and a single mother. She wake me up from my coffin in a haunted mansion and explained to me that we are running out of time as there was a cult summoning someone dangerous that might doomed the world so I have no choice but to agree I was going to meet up with the members but unfortunately she received a supernatural case so I got involve in her case
The case is about this ghost that's been going on during night time, it all started when they moved to a house and the ghost killed the owner's dog
"Lewis, wear your human form. I don't want someone saw a ghost riding my car " Cecilia warned me, I secretly rolled my eyes as I disguise myself as a human. I forgot to tell that she is somewhat strict and serious at her job. She has ash brown curly hair, she has brown eyes, she wore a purple shirt, grey jacket, cyan pants, and brown boots
She recruited me back in America in Dallas, Texas and we ride the airport to go to Edinburgh, Scotland. Most of the ride is very quiet as I tried to turn on the radio but I only get slap on the hand by Cecilia
We arrived in Edinburgh for about 3 hours so 3 hours we didn't talk but thankfully that silence is finally over as we finally arrived in Edinburgh to a house that has two floors to it. We got out of the car as we met a woman at the porch who sat down. When the woman spotted us she got up as she greeted us
"Good morning, detective. The name's Charlotte, Charlotte Mendez " The woman whose name is Charlotte greeted us. Cecilia and I shook Charlotte's hand
"My name is Detective Cecilia Hansley and this is my...partner, named Lewis Pepper " She introduces me to Charlotte. Charlotte let us enter the house since it is getting cold
The house has a stairs, the room from the right is the kitchen and the left room is the living room. I peaked my head on the kitchen to find two children eating there breakfast with there phones laying next to them and they were eating pancakes
"Lewis! C'mon, we have work to do " Cecilia calls out my name as I left the kitchen. We went to the living room to where we find Charlotte and another one who is a guy sitting on the couch. Me and Cecilia sat down on the couch as we faced the two, Cecilia grabs her notepad and started her interrogation
"Alright, I received an email from you guys that there's have been supernatural going around your house? " Cecilia ask, Charlotte noded her head then Cecilia ask them another question
"Before we begin our interrogation I just want to ask...what are your names? "
"My name is Charlotte Mendez and this is my big brother Andy Mendez "
"So... Charlotte, since when did you moved into this place? "
"We moved here after my husband died due to a heart condition and he put it in his will that the old house that he used to grew up belongs to me now " Charlotte explained and Andy butt in and said
"Before Charlotte's husband dies we used to lived in an apartment and his parents used to live here but they were both dead now. So, when we read his will we decided to move out of the apartment and move here to start a new life and we have our reasons why we moved here in the first place "
"Ok, what are the reasons? " Cecilia ask as she wrote the statement of Charlotte and Andy on her notepad as Charlotte answered
"We are closer to rent and we are broke so...yeah, that's the only reason why we moved " Charlotte just simply answered that as Cecilia is still taking notes and keep her head from nodding then she moved to another question
"Now, you told me through the email that there are supernatural going around the house. Could you please explain it to us as to how it all started? "
"It all started after 1 week after we moved here and stuff has been going around like: our things just randomly disappeared, chairs that were on the floors, hearing footsteps, and we could hear some tapping on the walls " Andy explained and then Charlotte added
"After those weeks our dog died...it wasn't poison or a heat stroke or anything it was as if someone stab our dog outside of our house. We tried to install some cameras but what we found is just static and stuff " Charlotte explained, I put my fingers on my chin in thought and murmurs
"Someone tampered the cameras " I murmured in which Cecilia glance at me for a second before looking at the siblings then Cecilia moved to another question
"Does this ghost ever hurt you or your family? " She asked in which Charlotte responded
"Well... there are nights that my daughter named Angela everytime told me that someone is touching her. First, it was just the legs until it move to her upper body " Charlotte explained
"We install some cameras on her bedroom and found nothing " Andy added. Cecilia told the siblings that we will be staying here to investigate the ghost as the siblings agreed while they are preparing a room for us me and Cecilia went outside to grab the equipments from her car and there are so many of them
Me and Cecilia didn't waste time as we started equipping the cameras and lights. I encountered the children that I saw in the kitchen there names are Angela and Jane. Cecilia told them to stay in there rooms as we prepared the equipment. Charlotte told us that the room is ready so me and Cecilia went to our guest room to place our bags
The room is just simple. There was a closet, a desk, a window, and a bed. We didn't complain about the bed since we get used to sleep together with our other relatives back then, we didn't think a second as we started to unpack. All I packed is clothes, toothpaste, toothbrush, pens, and notebook while Cecilia packed so many but she kept her stuff in her bag
"Do you think this 'ghost' is somewhat a person?" I ask, breaking the silence. Cecilia look at me with a confused look on her face as she replied
"I don't get it "
"What I mean is that this 'ghost' is not really a ghost it was as if someone is here in the house " I tried to explain to her about my question because judging about the statement that Charlotte and Andy told us it was as if someone is here trying to act as a ghost but my thoughts were interrupted when Cecilia replied to my theory
"I believe you too, Lewis. But... let's find out, if your theory is right we'll arrest it right away " She reassured me as she continues to unpack her things
During the course of the week, it was just investigating about this 'ghost'. The first week is that Angela got herself attacked by the ghost. The second week the ghost walks around the house and I know you guys are confused or wondering as to why I can tell that the ghost is walking around the house it's because... Cecilia place some cameras on the walls to take some pictures of the ghost, the ghost walks in the halls and in the kitchen but the confusing part is that there was no ghost. We interrogate the children but they didn't went to the kitchen nor the hallway. Third week is very scary, the ghost drag Cecilia straight to the basement me and Andy went in there to save her when we got there Andy almost got himself get smack by a hammer but we managed to save Cecilia. On the way to go out of the basement I felt as if someone touched my back
As the 1 week and so many jumpscares later we decide to have a meeting. The children were asleep and today is night time
"How are we gonna catch that ghost? " Charlotte ask, we were so dumbfounded because throughout those weeks we can't catch this ghost but the theory that someone might be here in the house just acting as a invisible man
Cecilia was about to answered Charlotte's question but it went so fast when we heard Angela screamed in her room. They all went there in a panic to find the ghost pulling her both me and Andy helped Angela but I felt the same thing when I helped Cecilia out of the basement it was as if the ghost was there but invisible but it all happened so fast yet again when we heard another scream in Jane's room. We went there and we saw Jane's hair is pulled by the ghost as she was dragging screaming, we rushed to save her but there is a thought inside of me that I should get a paint and splash on the ghost so I hurriedly went behind the house in the garden shed to grab a bucket of paint and then I rushed inside of the house where I could it got worse
So, I didn't waste anymore time as I opened the lid of the white paint. I run towards Jane with a bucket of paint
"GET OUT OF THE WAY! " I yelled, Cecilia, Andy, Angela, and Charlotte backed away as they were told and I splash the paint behind Jane's hair and to my surprise I was right...it wasn't a ghost, it was a man who is invisible. The paint stains the invisible man as he backed away and let go of Jane's hair
We both made eye contact with one another until I shook my head and hit him with the paint causing him to knock out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Alright, so it wasn't a ghost...your theory is correct, Lewis " Cecilia said, taking a sigh. I found out that this guy is part of our team and his name is Hawley Griffin also known as the invisible man. I look behind of the car seat to find him sleeping with ropes surrounding him, I look back at Cecilia and can't help but ask:
"Um...where are we going now? " I ask and Cecilia just simply responded
"Your going to meet the team "
