Those who still have not tried Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead game are missing on the one of the best (nerd) gaming experiences ever. This thing can suck you in for hours. Best roguelike out there, and it is free and open source.

Why do I love it? I have been playing CDDA for 4 years and I still feel like I have not got my hands on the half of all the content. It is very hardcore and unforgiving, but it makes it special. Every mistake can be the last one for your character.

You can craft almost everything you can see in the game from scraps of all the disassembled shit. There are so many items you can loot. You can be anyone you want. A hobo, a clown, a killer cyborg, a priest or just a naked man. This makes every run special for me.

The only minus you can feel playing the first time is memorizing all the keybindings because you should use the whole keyboard to play without hiccups. There is this guy on YouTube TheMurderUnicorn who made tutorial vids on it.

I love this game. Give it a try

so an answer to the question: "will i be able to off-road with this many cows in my truck" (because i'm sure everyone was wondering)

as you can see from the first pic, i had several cows tied to completely full cargo spaces. i also had (second pic) a livestock stall holding another cow and also several items lol

i was not at all confident that the vehicle would move once i went off-road. yes, i know i can examine the vehicle and it'll tell me, but it's more fun to find out by just... driving onto the grass!

and as shown by the third pic, the answer is: 5 cows + 2 ppl + about 2700L of cargo in one mostly standard pick-up truck can drive exactly 10 mph but no faster

On the first Thursday of Autumn, 7:30am, Mark Downing Jr. came in to the office early for his first day as a photojournalist. He had been looking forward to this position his entire working life, and once his coworkers stopped returning from their assignments, it finally fell onto him. At 8am, like everyone else, he saw the End of the world. But the End saw him too. Started getting back into CDDA again and wanted to draw my Shattered Skies boy Downer. He may be besieged by eldritch horrors, but at least he's their favourite (BAD THING)
