so I made the mistake of looking at Evil reddit page and i now feel like i need to make this post

Kristen has four daughters, in age order they are Lynn, Lila, Lexis, and Laura. They are our beloved 4 L's, they are loud, talk over each other, and people who dont like them are incorrect.

Timeline: Kristen Gave Up Climbing to start a family and have kids. After Lynn and Lila where born Kristen conceiveda third child miscarried, so her and Andy decided to conceive a child via IVF at RSM fertility. They have Lexis and then later they have Laura naturally, and she was born with a heart condition. She had them in the span of I think 6 years (Lynn's actress was about 13 during the filming of season one, Laura's seventh birthday is in the pilot ep)

Now, in the Real World at time of posting, it's not typical for families to have more than two kids, the fact that there are Four Bouchard kids is noteable and some viewers find it off putting for various reasons. I think these people dont understand how these girls actually work in the context of the series.

Starting from the pilot episode of the show one of Kristen's primary motivations has been her daughters, the first Episode is Laura's Seventh birthday and Orsen Le Roux directly threatens them. All of the girls have been involved in various supernatural plots and have such good and unique Girl Child Sibling energy. Kristen's constant struggle with being a Good Person is ALWAYS tied with her being a Good Mother and what both of those things mean.

Its also shows that Kristen and Andy were just fucking going at it early in their marriage and its shows an intersting contrast with their scenes together in the show.

and this is all just how Kristen and the 4 L's work in conjuction with each other. Their interactions with Ben, Andy, Sheryl, and Leland are also really intersting but not something im going to dig into here.

In the wider world of TV they are also unique because they are only daughters. The fact they are all girls, that they still share the same room is IMPORTANT!!! I think they are execllent as characters and as story telling devices, I hope the show continues to give the girls story lines both as a united front and as individuals so we can see some of the unique ways that the concept of 'Evil' effects teen and pre-teen girls

"Evil" is the single most unhinged show on TV and I'm here for that. They know they stopped making sense a whole while ago and are leaning into it with cackling glee, taking us on a wild ride through WTF Land, and not a single one of us wants to get off.
