So how do you tell your current boss that, hey, you got a new part-time job that you kept very secret and now you'll need to cut your hours by half, but like, you still absolutely want/need to continue working for them?

#kite rambles #cause the plan was a full-time job with no customers to deal with so i could be all #“No i really do love y'all but I'm gonna strangle a customer soon if i don't get out” #and now it's like #“well I'm sort of trying to get back into edu and this is a step pls ignore that the full path involves ditching y'all eventually” #cause with the other place being 20hr and giving me insurance at that amount i can cut this place back to 20hr and actually be ahead #like i could actually cut the pharmacy to probably 10hr and be right where I'm at financially but that would be pretty stupid #i just... don't know how to bring it up #i talked to a co-worker about that pharmacist and she said to start documenting things #but she also talked to the boss because they've worked together for like 20 years and are legitimately friends #and she said i should talk directly to him about the issues i have with that pharmacist #so there are TWO awkward things i need to talk to him about #help
