Andrew: It's interesting watching the maturity that Beckett has in this. In other episodes, she would have run out into traffic after this guy with blinders on and ended up running off a roof like she did in ‘Always’. But there's a maturity to her in this, much more tactical, much more emotionally detached. She wants to take this guy down, but she wants to do it in a smart way. It's part of her arc of growth.

David: She's not really willing to throw her life away anymore. So it's a simple and clear way to express that.

Rob: Look at the guy, the hand, decision time. Not gonna run off a roof anymore.

I love this! Such a short scene but shows the beautiful character growth in Kate Beckett. ‘In the Belly of the Beast’ commentary was really fascinating to listen to, made me appreciate the episode more!

Ok so I've mentioned that I'm currently in the middle of finishing OUAT, but that I have been spoiled for certain things.

I don't think I've been as spoiled as I thought I was. Because I just finished 6x17.

Ok so, I knew they were gonna get Killian back, and that Captain Swan is GETTING MARRIED FOR REAL HELL YES!!!

But I also saw screenshots/very mini clips of David and Snow in the time of the first dark curse. I thought that was just mentally where they were in the sleeping curse, like how Belle thought she was back in Rumple's castle as his servant again.

But I was so...so wrong.

That was the past.

They woke up earlier in the curse. And so did Rumple???

But then they willingly go back under because it's too early and I just hfifyihturugyihtreysyjj7

Snow (in the present) gives Emma the magic to get Killian back, even though this means both she and David will be trapped under the sleeping curse for good, because "we took so much from you [Emma]. We're not taking him away too" and I just fhgfoiyrwawfpidthvhcg

But then EVERYONE IN TOWN comes together to wake them by drinking the sleeping curse together to dilute it and Killian's the first one to do so and Regina's the second one and I just fdtdsublgfdtvsyuvhi

And now CAPTAIN SWAN WEDDING IS GONNA BE REAL

Also small note: Zelena and Regina working together to try to break Snow and David's curse was awesome. Both times they ripped out/put their hearts back they just nodded to each other like "you know what to do, sis." I like them working together and I like Zelena being on their side. My mom agrees btw.

Idk why I'm writing this tbh.

I expected to like the episode but not as much as I did. This is one of my favorite episodes in the season so far.

God, I love the progression though. She went from watching him on screen, feeling hopeless and deflated, to slowly having hope that one day he will slip up. Then, BAM, to actually be on live TV with him and interrupting his interview, to arrest him.
