Bored of plot going to figure out Ben Ten AF playlist split and I think rather then sticking with the theme I think I want to "switch" the powers. Like Gwen got Gwen-wolf and Ditto so Ben get's Echo Echo

Okay stepped away to actually plan this and I got an idea. Both have Alien X. That would mean I need to remove an alien. OH SHIT I ALSO NEED TO THINK OF ULTIMATE ALIENS.

Okay so the way the split ended up (before I finished the playlists) with Gwen having more ultimates then Ben (Swampfire, Canonbolt, Way Big, Wildmutt vs Humungosaur and Echo Echo) so I gave Ben the other two ultimates which left Jetray or Goop for Gwen. Jetray is less important never appearing again after UAF so is eliminated.

Then i realized Wait Ben had Stinkfly someone who could fly so swapped Goop and Big chill

Ben: Echo Echo, Humungosaur, Spider Monkey, Goop

Gwen: Swampfire, Brainstorm, Chromastone, Big chill

With both having access to Alien X.

Theme worked out suprisingly well in the end with only Spider Monkey and Goop breaking the theme (and Alien X) also like Chromastone fully breaks it but I kind of had to give them to Gwen because of the "die and become Diamond head" thing

Sure it breaks the Ultimate balance but I never liked Ultimate Wildmutt so I can remove them and like i can give like Stinkfly or Upgrade an Ultimate.

Okay here's an idea for Alien X:

Instead of both of them being able to go Alien X and getting their 'extra personalities', the two of them go full SU-Style Fusion and can only use Alien X together and like any of the species the two personalities must cooperate.

You know what I’m going to defend everyone’s least favorite ultimate alien from Ben 10 being ULTIMATE WILDMUTT that’s right ULTIMATE WILDMUTT

So first we ask why do people dislike “it’s because he’s a lazy ultimate” yeah that that’s the kicker “what it’s a lazy design for an ultimate” canonbolt “what” ultimate canonbolt just turns metallic and gets spikes “so” your calling ultimate wildmutt lazy for minimal changes “but it is” oi what about ultimate big chill “what about him” he’s just got fringes on his wings and gained eyebrows “so he looks like fire now” you know what let’s move on

So why am I okay with this design “cause your stupid” you shut up “no make me” okay okay just ignore him so ultimate wildmutt he’s red now has dorsal spikes and a tail with a spiked tip “yeah it’s lazy” okay wise guy do you know what people miss about ultimate wildmutts design “uhhh” didn’t think so ultimate wildmutt has a different posture of sorts compared to base wildmutt “wait what” yeah he goes from having a more ape like stance to a more big cat like stance “huh” well this is important because

Power trade off is an important thing in the 8 ultimates “but wildmutt doesn’t trade anything” okay so what’s wildmutts ability “enhanced senses” yes but that can’t be traded since it’s essential “but that’s his only ability” no wildmutt also has his incredible mobility “so what’s the trade” mobility type “huh” he switches from great arboreal movement to great ground movement “okay but what about”

“Wildmutt talking” what do you mean “he talks when he’s ultimate” so he also talked when he wasn’t ultimate “no no he doesn’t he makes animal noises” yeah but he makes multiple noises in the stretch of a sentence and even responds to things so he talks we just can’t understand it “then why can he be understood as an ultimate” he’s evolved

“You know what no he sucks” well that’s an okay opinion I’m just stating why he isn’t completely bad “no he’s irredeemable trash” woah I’m just stating a different opinion “he’s a complete waste of an ultimate form” you know what that’s enough “oh what are you going to do”

How/when does Ben unlock Eye Guy in your rewrite? It's really ambiguous in the show so I hope you can clear that up.

To give him a little more time, I'd most likely have Eye Guy show up a little sooner in season 4 (or the Negative 10 Arc as I've labelled it). As for the how, it would most likely be the same as someone like Canonbolt, where Ben just has no clue when, why or how he has it. Just suddenly turns into him by mistake. But I imagine you can play with that concept there, a showcase in how much Ben has grown over the summer regarding the omnitrix and his aliens. When he first turned into Canonbolt, it took him a good while to understand his powers and how to use them. While for Eye Guy, he will be confused for a few seconds, but get right onto learning about this new alien as quick as he can, doing what comes naturally to him, and quickly using this to his advance to whatever he was currently doing. I don't think every single alien needs a big introduction, cause there are so many of them, hahaha. But I do hope to try and give each of them at least some kind of introduction that makes sense to them.
